Oh my, I like this.
Spoiler for Ep1:
I want to see more of the protagonists dimensions. He seems more complex then he lets on. This Fall season is starting very agreeable with me. Until it has been subbed, it'll stay in the Unaired forum. I have no idea who is subbing this though, sorry. Last edited by Foreshadow; 2009-10-02 at 16:08. |

Whenever you wonder this, you can always go to the Fansub Wiki, where groups post the shows they plan to do, so other groups can decide to lay off. Two groups I don't know -- Nuke and CXC -- say they plan to do this show.

That's cause you're pedestrian like your title states.
It's literally true. Pretty much all the jokes here are fun-pokes at various other anime, and a lot of bishoujo game eroge stuff, so if you're not knowledgeable and experience in stuff like that many of the jokes will fly over your head, just like the Haruhi bit and Foreshadow. But if you are well-traveled in the realm of anime, manga, and eroge like myself then this show is such a joy. The true happy ending is the harem end because then everyone can be happy. Oooooooohh, I can so connect!

Ugh. I watched the first episode, now I wonder why this series able to sell over 250,000 copies per volume (as reported by Kadokawa). Is it get better from this point on with something other than rapid parody that goes nowhere, or stays the same throughout the series?

EDIT: I blog for a site too. Does that make me a master of anime? No, a master of anime would be someone who's been working in the industry since the early eighties, which is most certainly none of us. A movie critic is just that, a critic. Same for random curiosity; they're just anime critics. Their opinions are not your own. @sirn Perhaps you are expecting something with a lengthy and complex plot with twists every other episode like Code Geass. If so, you are approaching this show with the wrong set of expectations.

I guess my question should be "is this series going anywhere other than 'I'm going to make this student council my harem!'"? |

@Jaka: And I have to disagree with you. If he said that Haruhi is good, then he already failed in my opinion as master of anime. (Haruhi sux) @Shinova: Yea, only us devoted eroge/anime fans can understand the true humour.

C'mon, decide shows for yourself, dude. Only you can tell for yourself what's good to watch and what's not. That's why there's this "try first and decide later."

Seitokai no Ichizon OP
One of my fav light novel getting animated. So far i like it. The comedy, art and character design. The OP is quite awesome for me but the ED it quite lacking even nice chibi animation. Overall i satisfied. I am afraid if DEEN make this show below average but oh well ep1 is okay for me.

How does Serenade always manage to start these threads? By the end of this episode, my pot was boiling. It was boiling hot water so I could make some coffee. Seriously, this episode was so forced in so many ways. I've recognized a lot of reference, but the jokes are just not there. Even the cutie pie who was tricked into call herself pettanko as she was stamping away her authority as the president of the student council in that ominous stack of papers falls flat (pun not withstanding) when she is making those faces. I went to watch this episode without knowing DEEN was behind it. The bad feeling turned into bitterness once I found out. Gah! How is this studio continues to exist? Must be because it can turn profit considering how little it has to invest on any series.
I'll still watch the 2nd episode just because............. it had some genuinely funny moments.

The only reason I'm going to watch this is because I like Kira Inugami's character designs and to play spot the references.
You blog for an eroge site... So according to that you are "master of porn game"
