Hello, I'm new to this series and was wondering if it has the following:
1. Overpowered characters (Super Saiyan mode or Naruto going 9-tails). 2. A similar aspect of online RPG games (Diablo 2, Hack/sign, guilds etc...), because I am into that. 3. Main characters are not compatible (Zoro & Sanji) and in the same team.

2. Where what aspects are you thinking of? Though it would make a great rpg. 3. Yeah a bit. Gray and Natsu always fight. Lucy and Natsu are pretty compatible to be though. |

2. Traveling in groups (caster, archer, knight etc). 3. Who your favorite? 4. is the story toon-ish? Any similarity to One Piece?

Well FT is about being in a guild. And in the guild you go on missions so yes, they travel in groups. Natsu is in the team with Gray and Lucy and yes it does take team effort to beat some enemies. Natsu is strongest of them but it doesn't mean he takes all the glory.
I have no idea what you mean by '' toon-ish '' or similar to OP when OP is about pirates and the setting is so different. It really would be easier to just check few first episodes yourself and not judge the series by what we might write here.

2. They travel in groups but they're all mages vs. other mages 3. Fav. is Lucy; she appeals to me as the normal woman (but hot, like in most anime) out of the bunch. 4. If you mean the liberty the artist takes creating more fantasy creatures than realistic, then there is some, but compared to One Piece it's very minimalistic. If you mean art styles, then there are similarities but i think that Mashimo likes architecture of cities more than open seas and vegetation. I believe he comes into his own style and becomes even more differentiated as the manga continues. I would look at the "Why do you like fairy tail?" thread for some positives or points that may make a better decision for you. |

There are no villains in Fairy Tail, just people who haven't accepted Nakama into their hearts yet.
As to the second part of your question; Yes, Juvia has a rather large roll in many of the arcs of Fairy Tail after her introduction... for someone who isn't one of the core 4 cast members 5 members of Fairy Tail (sorry forgot about Happy). She's not in one arc (not counting the Loki mini arc) but in all the rest she gets at least one good fight scene and a few comedic moments.
