As for some of the selection you guys made:

1) Ten Ten: Best thrower? Do you honestly think that a ball thrown by her will hit the likes of Neji or Lee?

2) Hinata: Yes, she can see the balls with her byakugan. No, she will not be able to dodge the balls thrown by the top-tier people.

3) Shika: I don't think he will be able to survive any hits too. He will be the first one to be down. And whether or not his shadow-bind will be useful in the dodgeball fight is questionable. Unless he could shadow bind all three opponents.......

4) Ino: Ditto

My all star team would be

Coach - Orochimaru

Neji - absolute defence
Haku - his presition with needles would be great with hitting people
Ten Ten - weapon master great at throwing things

Coach - Orochimaru (doesn't really matter)

DodgeBall skills are determined by taijutsu skills, for the main part at least, you could probably use some ninjutsu, however, if you are not fast enough to dodge a ball, it's not going to help you.

Sasuke - Lee's Speed + Sharingan = best offence + second best defence, he is definatly superior to Lee, and no Genin is able to hit him with Sharingan on.
Neji - Best defence (Kaiten) + fair offence, unhittable as well, though he probably uses up more chakra. Byakugan is not all that useful in that situation, inferior to Sharingan, in any case.
Temari - The female Member is bound to be the worst one.

First off wouldn't Temari be somewhat useless because her fan could be considered a signature weapon and without it? Anyway...

My team would have to be

1) Neji - Can see everything and has ultimate defense

2) Haku - Speed and precision is a killer dodgeball combo

and

3) Naruto - Kage Bunshin would fill the entire arena with narutos long enough for Haku and Neji to take out others (with a few balls thrown by narutos)

Coach - shikamaru - brillant stratagist

You can't go past Garaa's sand unless you are VERY strong. Plus he's very quick. Will be prefect for catching the balls. 2) Temari: Ferret-guided balls = awesome. Will be able to hit anyone with them. 3) Naruto: I can't believe no one has said this: Rasengan-propelled balls = close to the power of Gon's Janken balls. Now that will be unbeatable.
