Well that is the "Bible Black" style serious business face.
For more normal, how is this (it is hard to find a plain face on screenshot of Chiaki for the second season, when a quarter of her shots are face on in the First Season). ![]()

The first season art is cuter (and it worked) There are a few things that were better looking in the Second Season, or at least more well crafted (Mako-chan looked more feminine, Hosaka looked more manly, some of the support characters stood out better like Yoshino (is evil) and Uchida).

It still makes me laugh the amount of people who say this.
![]() It's a face that's used in Koharu Sakuraba anime adapted works, so if anything you should be saying the 'Kyo no Go no Ni OVA' style.

EDIT: Oh and besides the obvious shine I gave to the hair, the weird lighter patches of her hair is actually the graphite. There's so much graphite in her hair, it reflected light back to the scanner for that real shien effect lol. Under a light, her hair actually shines. One of my old practices is to shade dark so so much it actually shines lol

Well not that I can even finish a dozen in one day, having no pencil is probably the only fear I have practically lol Besides Mako-chan, I'd love to see more Yuka-chan, she's my next favourite secondary female character lol(After Mako-chan ![]()

thank god for another season. it's time to redeem themselves for season 2. which wasn't that bad if you ignored all those awkward serious points they used (you may have to skip whole episodes though to do this)
![]() nice picture C.A. .. I almost forgot how cute Mako-chan was. I think Makoto and Toma's lack of time in 2nd season compared to the first is why it seemed so much worse for me. |

Season 1 was very enjoyable and I think most, if not all of us would agree that it was superior in almost every way to season 2.
Okawari had it's moments but at times I found it chore to sit through. The disappearance of the Minami brothers, reduced Hosaka screen time and the addition of Fuyuki were big minuses for me. With Asread at the helm again I'll be going into this third season with adjusted expectations, hopefully the new director can suprise me. |

Hosaka to me is almost hard to stomach when I am eating my dinner/lunch while watching Minami-ke. He's just such a force of nature to be reckoned with.
Mako-chan is... so broken and a must for Minami-ke. Dear god... @C.A: did anyone witness that sketch in reallife?
