I'm not getting that vibe, I was just thinking along the lines that Isla wants someone to be with Tsukasa who loves him after she is gone.

Another big question is: will Tsukasa see Isla re-purposed body after it has another personality installed?

I really like this episode with the date and party, was surprise it began with Isla's crying, I thought some bad things happen.
I hope they kiss soon last episode.

I enjoy the feels, and think Isla is a great character, but I still find the embarrassed romance just a bit much. I mean, they are working people, not children. Oh well, I suppose it's true that she is only nine, chronologically.

I've been bracing for Isla's retrieval since the show started. I don't think I'll be ready for the feels in the last episode next week.

I actually have the impression this series is one of those that would strut its stuff better is steamrolled...on a week by week basis its weaknesses (at least as I feel them to be) stand out more, but if steamrolled they have less time to balloon and quickly fade into the background in significance and impact. So perhaps blakstealth is lucky in his "being late to the party" in a sense.

I think I can agree with this. After the whole confession and rejection situation, I felt like the show got a bit less....enjoyable? Even though that lasted only an episode, I feel good blowing off an entire day to watch this series. :P

Just caught up to episode 12. Man, the last scene with Isla whispering in Tsukasa's ear with complete silence......man, the emotions are real within me right now. Wow.

That was my impression right as I found out about the premise. You'll know that things are gonna turn for the worst or will be bittersweet in the end, and the cour is a steady build up to that. Getting reminded of that every time an episode ends is gonna desensitize some people inevitably.

As an analogy, a weekly watch of Plastic Memories is like watching something tragic like I guess some footage of the Tohoku earthquake and tsunami on Youtube while having a dialup connection.

As expected there was no other way. The retrieval scene in the ferris wheel was beautiful. But very sad of course.

Those last few episodes were very good.

I wish they shown more of that kiss on-screen. Expected ending with their happy moments and another date to the amusement park. This series really likes to go with that hmm..

Cute show overall. It told a human story about a biological android and how Isla adapted and learned from a human. Some of the comedy moments were a bit ill timed imo but overall a charming series.

Full speed ahead to the dead Isla Express. The last episode was choke full of drama which put me off and made it feel like this whole episode was artificial. They go on one last date and exchange rings for marriage. What ensues is a blatant ripoff from Your Lie in April with the letter Isla writes to everyone. After the credits we get more stuff and a scene with Tsukasa presumably partnering up with Ilsa again. This could of been much more, but the horrible pacing in the middle of the anime could of been used to actually add meaningful content which would of made the anime more consistent with what it wanted to do. I honestly feel no sadness for her death. Maybe I am cold hearted? Or maybe I just want something done freaking right.

Overall, I rate this a 6/10 as well and throw it on the pile of shame along with Etotama and Mikagura School Suite. All 3 followed the same writing pattern.

Yeah right, writing a letter is something that Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso invented. Not to mention that the content of the respective letters aren't exactly the same.

The main argument was something good to use but the forced drama at the end, the awful comedy and how they put stupid things instead of develop something decent made this show bad.

4/10, just because some moments were full of feels.
