As for how all this relates to "ama vampire", I'd say it's not so much that he loves them (although he seems to), as that they love him. He's a vampire's lover, like a vampire's servant. By the way, in the manga, they use the word dorei "slave" instead of the word shimobe "servant".

And as for his neck, maybe vampire saliva contains a special enzyme so the bites heal quickly. Lol.

Actually, vampire bats have an anesthesic in their saliva, so before bit to suck the blood of the victim (generally big animals like horses), they lick first so the victim will not feel the bit. Otherwhise as soon they bit, the victim will feel the pain and try to drive away the bat, messing with his "dinner".

Anyway, back to the topic. A few days ago i read the review of this anime show. I got interested, so i D/L and watched the fist episode... and i LOVED!

So i D/L all the released episodes so far, and i loved just every episode. Now i'm really hooked!

Don´t know if someone has brought this up but...
When is Tsukuyomi aired in japan? and how long time does it take before a fan-sub release is out?

It airs late Monday night on TV Tokyo (today) and late Saturday night on TV Osaka. It's also being aired on AT-X ppv satelite.
As for subs, I'm not interested in them, but you can see all releases here . Looks like the folks over at Mahou are giving out around one ep a week. Currently four episodes behind.

I agree completely, even the scene was "manipulated" by the count, the art quality took a nose dive (almost at meteoric proportion). WTF with the black still frames crap, I almost thought I was reading a manga, except twice as suck. I know bugget is absolute, but they could cut ep 11 which is mostly comedy, and comedy doesn't need very good graphic anyway. [sigh] hopefully the quality return in later episode, otherwise I am sorry to say I'll drop this series and go read the manga instead. Its the same thing anyway

what I feel after watching ep12 : Maybe Anno sneaked into SHAFT and worked with Shinbo on this episode. It's like Soul Taker + Kare Kano

Maybe they run out of budget, but since this is Shinbo we are talking about here, who could be said even crazier than Anno, I guess anything can happen. Look at what he did with Nanoha

Dream-like (or nightmarish?) still images at the weirdest possible camera angles with strange changing colors and surreality... Have to say I really feel a big headache like just waking up from a nightmare after watching this episode... I think Shinbo has moved one step closer to insanity... (not that he's that sane to start with IMHO

)

I still can't quite understand how Anno somehow managed to invent the "budget-saving still images/scribblings = art" idea, and it's somehow swallowed by anime fans

Seem like I am the only one that actually liked the "different" animation in ep 12. I thought it was something different and nice. If they leave it at this ep and don´t experiment any further with it, then I am happy enough.
They are still free to abuse use of shadows and weird angles, but please still show the scenes in question and not the building from the outide.

Episodes that center around fight scenes at the expense of plot development should be showcases of animation and choreography, and not solid black fields with stuggling sound effects in the background. eh, fuman

But I thought the picture had frozen during the fight "scenes". Still, there was a little plot development: Grampa's kidnapping and the rediscovery of Elfrieda. Maybe now she'll move in with them.
