Holy cows. I didn't notice that one.

But still, overall, this gotta be the most perved show of these few years. Along with Queen's Blade, and Kanonkon. And no, Seitokai doesn't even come close, even with Sugisaki.

It's almost like fetish-fuelled.

38D melonpan fetish? Check.
Battle-maiden fetish? (It exists, my time as counsellor-cum-otaku researcher alerted me to that) Check.

Come on, Ikaros herself seems more fit for Seitokai, which is lacking in a "truly different" character that usually appears in those slapstick comedy anime.

But I digress. This is like weird in the first time a character is in SD form so often it's like his default appearance.

Ikaros is like a dumb Belldandy. Not that I'm complaining-that's what makes it funny. She should just have replaced Sakurano Kurimu. (And provide for Sugisaki's needs.)

Hoping for a second season.

Haven't written at all, but I think this series merits it :P

Saito Hisashi and co. have done a surprisingly good job of combining various manga chapters together, as well as including a number of Non-flammable Trash of the Heavens entries as well throughout the entire series so far...add to that, the animation quality's been very good through all the episodes thus far...usually by now, most have had one or 2 episodes which look like total garbage. For lack of a better description, it just feels like the entire staff is enjoying creating the series, and if Fujita Saki's blog entry is any indicator, it sounds the same for the cast as well.

Really tempted to order the DVDs...limited edition is nice and all, but the body pillow case is a bit of a...well I wouldn't want to be caught dead owning one...

A reminder for the thread. I certainly understand the excitement over this show and the recently released chapters, however please keep in mind that there are many readers here who have not read the manga, at the very least up to the most recent chapters.

Spoiler tagged discussion of speculation is courteous and I'm thankful for that but I'm seeing mention of several characters not introduced in the anime (yet) and their relation to characters already in the anime. Given that the anime has mashed up the chapters considerably please understand that it is easy to inadvertently spoil something in this last episode. Keep any mention of manga spoilers in the manga thread, this includes speculation of what could happen in a possible season two since it hasn't been announced (yet).
