The first scene where his lackeys are introduced and his zebub spell is seen was canon. Him getting rid of those biker gangs all by himself was too. Those were the two minutes I was talking about.

Uh... Let's see here:

The show airs at 7:30 AM, is aimed at 7-14 year old boys.

It is showing a scene of what looks to be beaten up corpses and wreckage, with broken concrete and mangled motorcycles, by THE BEACH.

I wonder just why maybe they thought that might not be such a good idea to show right now...

seems like next episode is another chapter stretched out with filler for an entire episode, but it seems like we're gonna see Aoi in a bathing suit! So I don't mind

They kinda trolled us with Aoi's swimsuit too. It was cute, but all things considered, I would have rather have seen her in her middle school swimsuit.

Back to filler next week... sigh. Just when I thought the anime was finally back on track.

Whoever is in charge of the placement of this filler should get fired. What's the point of stretching out a manga if you don't make it engaging enough to follow in the first place? It's like buying the cart before the horse.

1/ The overdose of zapping was stupid, was by far the biggest reason I saw so many people drop this after the first few episodes.

2/ Aoi being introduced in episode 7 was dumb, she should've been hotshotted into the story ASAP, you know that filler could've been done after introducing a popular character capable of getting people to stick with a show.

3/ Maybe it's just me.. but do a lot of filler after you put out an arc worth something. I have no issue with the need for filler and I can see why it was done (since this being done so early it was always going to happen), but this placement is just utterly terrible...

The stupid part of this weeks filler is the fact that you had Oga out searching for Toujou last week, and this week he's basically forgot all about him. So silly.

Nive ep overal, since we see another side of Furuichi.
His relation with Oga is still unexplained, but at last, we have a begining of a backstory about him.

It's strange they changed the Gigaden part from the manga.
It was far more plausible, and cunning from Furuichi considering his situation, than a lousy sound attack.

Back on full filler next week.
They definitely decided to go on the Reborn route. Certainly the worst choice possible.

Lol, this episode wasn't even a filler. Overall i liked it; Furuichi looked kinda cool (for once), the quality wasn't that bad (compared to some episodes) but Alaidelon is seriously leaving me scarred for life.

i'm also curious as to what Hilda will look like in a swimsuit...from hell...as she went back just to get one and not bother to buy in the human world...

too bad there's only a very little chance that we'll see it...hehe...

thank you anh min and kanon. the pool episode did blend i well without sticking out like a sore thumb. i dont think it does as well for the next episode.

@fabelyn: unfortunately Allain isnt the most scarring thing ive seen. i did give the anime Crystal Blaze a try but the chief inspector a tall muscluar guy kept dressing in women's clothing was far more scarring. he didnt make amy moves but the appearance was sufficient to stop at 2 eps.

I will honestly be surprised if this gets continued after episode 50 with how much filler keeps being added.

I also must say I was disappointed with some of the changes from the manga for this episode.

Instead of going to a resort he had Alain bring back Furuichi, wiped him out the whole ep., Baby Beel must have gotten stronger in order to have kicked Oga into the pool and board him. Nene was hot Furuichi actually stepped up this ep. Too bad he used Baby Beel to get out of it. Aoi's swimsuit was really kawaii, and that blush was to die for. Tojo and his part-time jobs are great. Scarred by Alain at the end. Unfortunately no Hilda in a swimsuit. __________________ My Anime List
