I see. But if he is HUMAN, in theory he shouldnt be able to use Dark Magic, since dark energy is not normally present in the material world.
As for the Dunamist part, well, if his device is similar to Mai's old device, which had a deamon inside, then probably yes... though he should still get corrupted by the otherworldly nature of dark energy... and eventually die by losing control over it, or something. Mai's survival was a miracle, after all, and her Linker Core was forever corrupted.
Anyway, just my thoughts, and probably they are similar to yours, as you're dealing with daemons and stuff in OutcastS. In short: if the guy is human, he could use Dark Magic to a certain extend, but suffer the consequences (even death), or the guy is a daemon of some sort (which wouldnt fit the dunamist story at all ). What do you think?
The time between KO-ing Subaru and Nano/Tea showing up won't be that long. The idea of I and L simply delaying them would prove to be good,
The flow of the battle is important too. I suggest you write it in such a way that, whoever is holding off Nanoha and Tia is hard pressed to continue beyond giving Clinque and E enough time to withdraw. Otherwise, if they can hold off Nanoha and Tia indefinitely, they have time to capture Subaru too.
When I read this: I prayed to God that it would not be another terrorist attack. Anything starting with 9- has somewhat become a taboo in my dictionary.
Well, it is. The Scagletti attack fell on 9-12 of the Midchilda calender...

Allow me to make a Mephisto as well to complete the five Dunamists!
He's Albert Mephisto, Andrea's associate and also a Dunamist. Rank AAA and specializes in defense/support magic. He uses a clawed staff as a weapon. Also an illusionist. So, what do you think? He's a bit of a sadist so he could very well do in the mindscrew department.
And also, the devices have names now!
Andrea's device = Sutherland = A bowgun with an automatic pistol loader. Can make ammo of it's own. The ammunition can be used as close range weapons in a pinch. 8 cartridges.
Albert's device: Gloucester = A staff with a claw on the end. Uses a Metal Storm loader ala-Cross Mirage. Four cartridges
Whatcha think?
Why are all the Dunamists... from the Lelou** comic?

Nighty wanted to bring them back, and I combined that with Spagetti's Infinite Greed for the "Seiou" and the Chaos magic of the Dark Clergy, to get Scagletti the Lich King. All that was extensive Warcraft 3 to WoW references, with Kha's side having all the Scourge's hero units, and Scagletti himself being the Lich King leading undead Numbers.
Those three have been in plans for a very long time, but seriously, these three girls are all emo and nothing else. Sophia's scratching her head over how to get them to fight properly.
Only the Licht von Belka Cleric-knights, also named after famous ***dam pilots if you managed to catch them, have the l33tness and the Walkers of a ***dam pilot.
Well, of course they'll be hard pressed to defend against Nanoha and Tia. Well, more Nanoha than Tia, really, but, eh.
That's what they're there to do- give Cinque and E time to withdraw. I and L will have to fall back, but at least one of their objectives will be secured.

Personally I don't have problems with him getting corrupted and probably dying in the future. But it's up to Reiji how to use the character. I can edit out the drain part in the worst case.

That sounds like fun... but I wonder how they will affect the Twist's Fate storyline... and will they somehow be "leaked" (for the lack of a better word) to the NBC universe??
And the three are GIRLS?! My brain is now bleeding...
I did catch a lot of names, but mostly from ***dam Wing and Seed.

Spoiler for The past?:
“Is this all?”
“Yes, Lord Inquisitor.’
“Very well, let me summarize what you’ve told us then …”
He briefly skipped through the report once more, making short remarks at some points.
“To tell you the truth I find it extremely hard to believe that we could’ve been missing such major anomaly within the Immaterium all this time.”
“I would say the same at your place, but I’ve seen it myself, experienced it, and that is why-“
“Don’t be so rash, Confessor, the case is quite delicate indeed.”
“I’m sorry, Lord Inquisitor, I understand.”
“By the way, there’s one thing missing in your report.”
“What? Missing?”
“Yes, one thing is missing from your report.”
The Inquisitor put his hands on the table and leaned forward.
"You've mentioned the names of 13 Daemon Lords, right?"
"Yes, 13 holding the most power, but why is this important?"
“Do not interrupt me yet. The Daemon that told you all of this, you've never mentioned that, but which one of those names belongs to him?”
“How? … How do you know he’s one of the Lords at all?!”
Something similar to a grin of satisfaction appeared on the Inquisitor's face.
“Don’t try to hide anything, Confessor. You future has already been sealed. The truth shall be known to everybody.”
The Inquisitor’s voice sounded like coming from the bottom of a deep well, his eye pupils rapidly turning pitch black.
“His name is…”
“My name is…”
The two phrases were spoken simultaneously.
“*********.”
The name echoed in the chamber.
“Lord Inquisitor … you … can’t be ..?”

“Sir, we have an urgent report from the Headquarters”, - Sarah entered the room with a worried expression she had never shown before, - “The visual link will be established in a moment – we’re having some troubles with communications due to a nearby Warp Storm.”
“What’s it about?” – Serge wondered if the news were going to mess up his current plans.
“The enemy”, - replied Sarah shortly, - “They’ve made their move, but it’s quite far from here, and … it was S’Zet military base this time. It seems that they’ve taken over the battleship stationed there …”
The way she sounded wasn’t promising anything good.
“How serious is it?”
“It was the flagship, sir.”

With an impossible for a regular human’s body move Sirius’ hand stopped the weapon from hitting his face, grabbing it along with the wielder’s arm.
“Looks like TSAB officers do get some basic training in melee combat”, - he said calmly.
Then he straightened his arm, twisting the opponent’s hand in the process.
“But compared to us without your magic you’re quite worthless.”
His free arm made a quick upward motion accompanied by the sound of breaking bones.
“You have lost.”
***
“It would be enough for me to simply delay you here for a while but I have a feeling that you could appear more troublesome than you seem to be, and when I have an opportunity to prevent troubles from happening I use them.”
The hooded figure stretched the right arm forward, though it was still impossible to see its actual hand.
“I will be killing you all right away.”
A weird magical circle of purple color appeared beneath the figure and the smell of sulfur suddenly filled the air.
“Arcesso Ignis Bellua.”

Sirius stood at the place of former office building, seemingly not being harmed more than he’d already been before the impact. A raging aura, its color similar to that of the rotten blood, protected his entire body while the masses of steel, glass and concrete around him were being easily vaporized.
“Impressive”, - he uttered, - “At their peak your powers could even surpass mine. But …”
He made several steps forward.
“… at your condition it’s useless now. No matter what you’ll try, you have lost.”

Serge felt the taste of iron in his mouth and when he took his next breath the air seemed to be filled with fine sand or some other kind of miniscule grains. He coughed hard and tried breathing through a piece of cloth. That helped but didn’t solve the problem entirely, and he still wasn’t able to sense any magic involved. Attacking recklessly was already proven a poor option, and though Serge was sure that he wouldn’t repeat his unlucky subordinate’s mistake he also couldn’t think of a reliable way to take care of this opponent. For the first time in his entire life he felt so powerless despite not being actually restrained in any way. The logic was telling him that the best solution right now would be an attempt to escape while there was still a chance.
***
The unconscious body fell helplessly onto the ground.
“It’s your own fault”, - narrated Sirius looking down at the defeated opponent, - “Though you’re worthy of my praise – that move of yours was actually able to surprise me. But you shouldn’t have thought that it alone could be enough to take me down.”
He made a short pause.
“And on top of that your priorities during the battle are completely wrong. Therefore, you have lost.”
***
“Hmm, you are hurt?” – The emotionless low voice clearly belonged to the one labeled Cygnus.
“You can see it yourself, there’s no need for my confirmation”, - Sirius answered him in a not so pleasant tone.
“It is quite a rare sight, were they actually that good?”
“Not really.”
“Was it your pride again then? You should give up on it and stop holding back already.”
“Mind your own business. You’ve got what you needed, isn’t it?”
“That is right. We will also execute the back-up plan concurrently with the main operation.”
“Is it really necessary? Who gave the orders?”
“Lord *** *****.”
“What a coward … I still can’t believe someone of his power could be so paranoid.”
“I hate him as well, but we are allies right now.”
“Tch.”
“Would you lend me a hand here? It is quite hard to do when they are unconscious.”
“I believe you’ll manage somehow. I’ll be reporting to Milady. For now, farewell.”
***
“I … am alright, I think. But … who are you?”
“Eeh?” - ****** stared at her friend with a mixed expression of concern and surprise, - “What do you mean by asking me who I am?”

“I … am alright, I think. But … who are you?”
“Eeh?” - ****** stared at her friend with a mixed expression of concern and surprise, - “What do you mean by asking me who I am?”
8 AM the following Monday Morning. Constance was to arrive at the facility right and early to meet with her colleagues and her superior. Her objects in this place were clear to her when she received her mission; discover the reason for the disappearances of recruits and officers and arrest those responsible. As far as the people here were concerned, she was a deputy Enforcer trainer in charge of the younger recruits. This assignment appeared to be simple and straight forward. In most cases the disappearances were easy to find since most of them were runaways or elopers with lovers.
It was a short walk from the Condominium to the facility, with how small the city was most things were a short walk, Constance left early though to get a better look at the streets and access points to the facility. She held at her side a nylon duffle bag, brief case combination case containing paper work, memorabilia, and a box of rounds for her Glock. Black high heeled shoes clicked the ground each step she took reaching the front doors of the facility. Wearing a uniform, knee skirt in a dark blue tone, a dress jacket of the same color, and a silk undershirt to finish it off, Constance appeared to be a model officer. Her short hair was brushed back from her eyes by a white gloved hand before she went past the clear, glass doors into the lobby.
The facility was an older designed from the early days of the TSAB. Much of the architecture modeled steel and granite then computers and steel combined. Many years ago the wiring had been gutted and the lobby reconstructed being the only “new” part of the compound aside from the laboratory. The lobby held a massive two story fountain at its base. Marble floors, marble pillars raised up five stories, offices to the right and the elevators to the left. A quick approach to the receptionist desk gave her directions to the elevator on her left; the top floor at floor 15 was her destination.
The elevators were a series of wide, glass cylinders using magnetic energy to raise and lower the platforms to each floor and then the roof; access to floors 12-14 and the roof was only granted to special authority. Each floor the elevator reached a soft ding signaled either its passing or stopping, for Constance it was a non stop flight to the top. At the top, the doors didn’t open immediately, instead they remained closed for a time period of one minute giving the person riding it a moment to gaze out across the city’s span.
The hard steel doors finally opened allowing Constance to step out into the hallway. Another receptionist sat in front of a single door in the back, to her left and right another four doors sat with the four other Commanding Officers offices. She walked without worry or lack of confidence reaching the receptionist’s desk. A moment pausing, she gazed down at the ditzy looking green head behind the desk. She appeared to be only in her early twenties like Constance, thick eye makeup, skirt dangerously too short to be professional, breast implants from the looks of it, and who knew that a low cut blouse with a few buttons unbuttoned was regulation dress wear. The secretary was seated in front of a wide, metal desk with a holographic keyboard and screen positioned in front of her. “I’m here to see, Admiral Franklin Secrin.” Constance spoke raising her voice enough to get the Teen Dream away from her computer conversation on the holographic screen.
Over the sound of thick gum chewing, the stereotype secretary pushed a button in front of her buzzing the twin, red wood door behind her. “Go on in. He’s waiting for you.” She said annoyingly nodding her head to Constance returning to her computer screen.
Constance felt an urge to throw the girl across the room for principle alone. Irritation swept over her normally calm manner. Turning swiftly to the right she went forward pushing her way inside of the office. The massive room was a good twenty feet by twenty feet. Antique legal Logia, paintings from various worlds and times, antique weapons, and a giant tank containing a lizard sized dragon. ‘Certainly has his share of money… Doesn’t he?’ Constance noted gazing around as she walked forward towards the back of the office. The back wall was a window, a massive desk in front of it mirroring how many officers seemed to keep their offices. Constance assumed that the man sitting on the back facing chair would be the admiral. “Admiral, Constance Lantus Reporting.” Constance spoke aloud, her legs coming together to obtain a proper stance.
The expensive, dragon leather chair spun around to face Mage Trainer Constance. Admiral Secrin was one of the youngest Admirals to ever be given the position. Coming from a middle class family from the suburbs; The Admiral excelled in no major classes in school or in the academy that he was in. What did he excel in if not in magic or academic skills? Improvising, sabotaging, data manipulation, and contacts within the facility. He rose in the ranks quickly with these means ducking under watching eyes by either changing videos, rankings, or ensuring those ahead of him faltered. It was when Commander Gil Graham had resigned that he was finally given his position of Admiral; a decision that the founding Brass regrets to this day. Shuffled around until he was placed at an older Facility, the Admiral has since reformed the facility to his own personal needs and desires. The admiral’s appearance fit a young man well. Black hair with tips dyed blond, goatee running around his mouth with a triangle bottom, broad shoulders, thin hands, and athletic legs. He wore his uniform seemingly proudly with his rank and medals shinned and shown for all to see. Many would argue that those same medals belong to others for accomplishments that he stole. “Welcome. Yes I received the information of your transfer recently. Welcome to my Facility, Trainer Lantus.” He gave her a seducers smile flashing perfect straight teeth. The sunlight from the window giving his pale skin a certain glow.
“Yes, sir.” Constance replied setting her hands behind her back, left hand holding onto her wrist. “I will be conducting a new training technique here at the facility to see how well it works before being applied to other facilities.” Her words were spoken without hesitation or doubt in why she was here. The perfect cover, after all, had to have perfect confidence.
“Yes, yes. I read the briefings and reports. I apologize that I do not have more time to discuss your stay here. Enforcer Damuel will be your fellow trainer.” The Admiral gave a dismissive wave to her. He truly had no interest in this new trainer as he should have had. “She is waiting for you out on the training grounds. She enjoys showing off her skill to the new recruits before they begin their training. Before you go to the elevator, please tell my secretary I need to see her.” The admiral turned in his chair fully disregarding Constance’s presence in the room.
Constance smirked at the Admiral’s back. A very cocky, upstart of a man she determined just by this meeting. She bowed her body forward then turned twisting on the heel of her shoes around back to the door. Her hand slid down into the pocket of her skirt withdrawing a small marble sized device. A quick squeeze on the thin outer layer broke the device’s coating turning it into a sticky ball. Constance flicked her wrist sending the device against a nearby statue, no doubt to remain until she removes it.
Once she escaped from the office the secretary didn’t have to be told to go in, she was already waiting for Constance to reach the elevator before descending into the Admiral’s office. Inside of the glass tube again, Constance pressed the button for the basement level then leaned against the glass wall. “Once chore down, no doubt Malaki is on his radio on time listening to whatever the Admiral is going to ever say.” Constance turned her head enough to again gaze out the window watching over the city. The assignment didn’t make much sense to her. She was to investigate reporting of officers and new mages going missing along with unusual magic readings from the laboratory. The two primary suspects are the Admiral and Doctor Celesti Damuel.
Constance lingered for a long moment in the elevator when it reached the basement. Her thoughts a high wire act of wonder and intrigue about this place. Celesti Damuel was the one who caught her attention the most. At one point she was a scientist working in conjunction with Precia Testarossa and on the very same project she worked on, until she broke off to search out her own methods. This alone would have caused an investigation to come over her after the Jewel Seed Incident but nothing happened. As for the Admiral, his quick rise through the ranks, unusual rise to wealthy status, and lack of investigations into many alleged crimes; possible rape, embezzlement, murder, kidnapping, and witness to many suicides, has many wondering how he did even make Admiral to begin with. These allegations made him a prime suspect just by principle alone.
Constance mind shifted instantly when she left the garage area where the elevator was and out in the training field. The open air area expanded to the size of a football field. The area that Constance came from had above it a U shaped stadium set of seats to sit spectators and officials when in the past they would take notes of how training went. Various spots of the dusty field had small emitters implanted into the ground to create structures or enemies at quick disposal for the necessary exercise at hand. Above, various beams went form one side to another to act for rappelling or swinging during combat. At the end of the field, about a quarter mile off, was a massive lake with at the far end the laboratory sat looming in the shadow of a massive mountain. Constance didn’t know what experiments they performed in the multi high rise building, but she was bound to find out sooner or later.
Constance took a moment glancing around the open field. On her left upon leaving the garage a group of young trainees were waiting to watch the mages in work. Most of them had to be anywhere between 10 and 13 years of age. They were staring forward in amazement at the six figures currently on the field; the six before them was Alexandria and her five chosen members of her unit. Each of them wore identical Barrier Jackets to Alexandria’s; a skin tight cat suite of black that covered from their necks down to their feet and hands. Specialized mechanical shoes and finger less gloves were worn on their limbs designed for added traction and grip. Metal plates were specially sculpted to fit onto their shins, thighs, and arms for added reflection projection. Over their torsos they wore metal chest pieces set to fit their individual body shapes. Over their faces, Wyvern masks were placed to hide who they were individually. Of the five of Alexandria’s unit, there were four women and one man, the man and one woman with dark skin, and the other three with light.
Alexandria motioned for her unit to move away and disperse to the side lines. The machinery and holograms went to work creating an urban setting of sprawling buildings and automobiles around. Alexandria smirked when she saw her future partner Trainer standing with the new recruits. “Twilight, Activate Crescent Blades” Alexandria commanded touching the black star imbedded in her chest armor. A bright light engulfed her hands creating her weapons. The dual swords were an unusual shape for long swords; their hilts made of half crescents with the handle attached at the ends opposite the curves. Ice shard wings appeared on her back followed by a glass shattering sound when Alexandria leapt upwards taking to the air; a streak of ice powder flowing behind her. At twenty feet above the materialized structure, Alexandria flipped back down with her back facing the ground in a beautiful summersault. She twisted her self diving towards the ground with the blades extended in front of her. Moments before she hit the hard dirt her body twisted it’s self to fly horizontal with the earth below, the blades extending outwards at her sides with cold energy pulsing to freeze the buildings at their base where they touched. At the end of the holographic street she straightened her self then landed onto her feet. Now, came the fun part.
Multiple humanoid drones dropped down form the tops of the buildings crashing to the ground below. They held no weapons for this particular exercise but they would be well enough for what she needed. Alexandria waited no time at all to attack the drones. When they struck high she ducked down or rolled beneath their blows driving her blades through their legs then up to their torso. The long swords slid on their curved hilts changing their direction without changing how Alexandria was holding them or swinging. When only a few of the drones remained, Alexandria took to the skies positioning her self above the final drones. She moved her blades so one was set behind the other, their shape merging together forming a long range rifle; light blue metal attaching to it. “Twilight, Blast Spike.” Alexandria commanded. Magic symbols appeared beneath her body, energy collected with in the barrel of the rifle. “Fire” She spoke aloud firing at high speeds a globe of dark blue energy.
The orb crashed against the ground sending spikes of ice in every direction where the bottoms of the buildings were frozen. The sharp ice sickles broke the bases of the buildings bringing the high rises crashing down around the drones crushing them beneath the weight. The crowd of on looking recruits began to cheer loudly as the Ice Queen came down landing in front of them.
Constance was amazed by the tactics that she used to defeat her opponents. Not only did Alexandria use brute force and magic to dispatch them, but she used her surroundings to her advantage as well. Constance stepped forward to approach the head Enforcer Trainer of the Facility. Her hand came up brushing back her short, dark brunette hair then took a proper soldier stance. “Good morning. Alexandria Damuel, if I am not mistaken.”
Alexandria glanced up and down over Constance. Her hands drawing back her long black hair from her eyes and shoulders letting it fall behind her. Her barrier jacket vanished in a glow of blue energy, Twilight reforming as a necklace around her neck. “Yes, I have been expecting you. We have much to discuss.”
Alexandria and Constance turned moving back into the garage. Both of them in their peak physical shape, walked with a poise of confidence and maturity rarely seen in officers. “I run my training session’s tough. If someone is unable to understand the dangers of battle, or understand that only the best should become Enforcers, then I ensure that they do not move on.” Alexandria began speaking stopping her movements in front of the closed Elevator. Her hand raised pressing for the fifth floor.
“I agree completely. Someone who is not ready to fulfill a position of combat should not be placed into live combat. It could jeopardize the mission and the lives of others around them. Strict training to draw out and eliminate their weakness is the only method that should be approached.” Constance replied glancing over to the stunning, black haired woman the back forward waiting for the elevator to come down to them.
“We are one in the same it seems. From what I have been told, you will be eliminating possible rejects before they are put under my training. This will allow me to further train possible Enforcers further then I have all ready.”
“Exactly. I have read of your records, and from what I have seen I am quite impressed with your methods of combat and styles. You accomplish your battles quickly and use everything at your disposal.” Constance put her hands behind her back, one hand holding the other’s wrist. She tilted her head back watching the numbers for the floors light up as the elevator reached each designated floor.
“We have much to discuss it seems. I am sure I will enjoy working with you, Trainer Lantus.”
“As I, with you, Enforcer Damuel.”

Dear Diary, March 27th
I’m afraid I angered Alexandria again this morning. When I woke up she was sitting at the end of my bed watching me sleep but… she was clearly angry with how she was snarling. All the pictures I had on my walls been torn down; the photos of Signum, mother, Alexandria, and everyone at the diner littered the ground.
“What have I told you about disrespecting Mother and I.” She said throwing a picture of Signum at me. “I should be the one you look up to and cherish, my dear sister. Not someone you have never met.” She screamed at me as she began to hit me. “I am going to discipline you now, my dear sister.” I remember her saying that just as I felt her grab my leg, and a painful crack coming from my foot. I don’t know how much time passed, but when she was done, Judas took me to Mother’s lab to be checked on.
Mother was there to see my injuries. She put my foot in a splint and told me it was broken, she bandaged my left cheek, above my right eye, and wrapped my ribs up saying two were cracked. She actually spoke to me though this time, “She does this out of Love, Dear Minea.” She’s never talked like this before. “You should listen to what she and Mother say.” Judas took me home so I could call Vanissa to tell her I wouldn’t be coming in for a week; Mother told me that I would be out for that long. The mage who normally heals me is away right now.
Judas took me home and set me to bed. He made me lunch then went to sit at my door to make sure I didn’t leave. I want to go to the diner even if I am hurt but mother said no. She told me that they both love me… That’s what she said. I just want to make them happy but not be hurt for it… Isn’t there anything I can do?
[Celesti]
Celesti sat in her underground office watching on her holographic screen as Minea wrote in her diary. Two other screens were opened monitoring Minea’s vital signs and the energy coming from her Logia heart. Realization would surmise showing on her face as the energy from the Logia increased when she spoke about love and spending time at the diner, but decreased during the time she wrote about turmoil. Celesti turned once of the three screens to show the activity of the Logia from 9 years ago when the Condominium complex’s pets changed into monsters from the Logia draining their life. She had written about being lonely, and wanting her family. “Brilliant. I may know how to activate its full potential. Precia was close to uncovering the truths, but her madness caused by fools drove her to the brink. My dear Minea, you hold the blood of my self and another’s in your veins. Soon, our dreams will be realized.”

Wow, very long part this time. I like how you're able to describe the surroundings so well...
For a moment I thought the Admiral was going to like Constance or something. Alexandria being called the Ice Queen is so fitting... But Minea being treated like that makes me
Ah, you've made two already One's still on me I hope?
Anyway - here's my template:
@Reiji:
Specialization - defensive style knight/debuff magic; Belkan style, magic color - akin to rusty metal.
Mage rank - AAA+ ~ S-
Spoiler for picture:
Name - I'd like to consult about that: will anything I come up with do or there'd be some suggestions? Same goes for actual spell names and the device.
Device - generic armed device in a form of a huge two-handed sword, equipped with standard cartridge system.
Abilities/spells:
Main specialization - self-defence and counterattacks. Defensive spells are self-centered and are generally not meant to protect the allies (except generic Area Protection). In addition to standard Belkan Barrier/Shield spells they include the following:
- Reactive Barrier - 360 degree protection which is able to partially reform the energy of absorbed attacks to launch counter-assaults against the attackers; the effect varies slightly depending on the nature of reflected attack;
- Spark Shield - a directed shield that produces a powerful shock effect upon contact, effectively stunning the attacker; most suitable against melee attacks;
- Skin of Steel - greatly enhances defensive capabilities of the user's Knight Armor at the price of reduced agility;
- Attractor Shield - a directed shield which forcefully attracts the attack or spell of a chosen target to itself; if a melee attack is blocked by it the attacker won't be able to pull his/her weapon back easily, leaving him/her open for a counterattack;
- Attractor Barrier - 360 degree protection which forcefully attracts the attacks or spells of all nearby targets to itself; if a melee attack is blocked by it the attacker won't be able to pull his/her weapon back easily, leaving him/her open for a counterattack; it's quite risky to use when multiple opponents are present;
- Mirror Shield/Mirror Slash - ultimate defensive spell, as well as a counterattack; fully absorbs incoming magic and launches a counter-assault either as copies of the absorbed attacks or a single energy blade made out of the absorbed energy and the user's own reserves; the drawback is very heavy strain caused to the user and inability to adjust the shield's strength - it always has to be activated at full power.
Auxiliary specialization - debuff magic. Includes some offensive spells as well.
- Life Drain - offensive spell severely draining the stamina of a chosen target, at the same time replenishing that of the user and even healing minor wounds; most effective when used as a touch attack at close range but is still functional at medium range as well (by simply pointing at the target);
- Impairing Slash - a melee attack with the sword that greatly reduces the victim's physical strength and agility if it connects (blocking with device/weapon counts as connection while using magical shields doesn't);
- Arc Shackle - shoots a crescent-shaped energy blast with a swing of the sword which damages the target and binds it (the bind takes effect even if the target shielded against the blast);
- Soul Plague - appearance differs for the cases of usage in mid-air or on the ground; in mid-air it produces a shockwave 360 degrees around the user, though the range is quite short; on the ground the earth beneath the user is struck with the sword and the shockwave comes from the surrounding ground in a much wider range; the victims suffer moderate damage to their Linker Cores and their magical abilities become greatly hindered;
- Fatal Strike - channels the user's own life energy into the blade, where it turns into a kind of potent poison as well as amplifying its cutting power; the victim must be actually struck by the blade for the attack to be fully effective; if it succeeds it cancels all the positive boosts the victim could've had and bestows a curse upon him which greatly reduces the power of his/her defenses and makes his/her every action cause him/her severe pain.
Trivia:
The Knight has or had a female feline familiar once. Anyway she's not with him anymore.
Comments please
It's a good thing I didn't make a AAA combatant character. You've got it covered quite well. Nice and solid character there. Those magnetic moves are really quite good. With lots of debuff moves against enemies, nice!

Naturally enough, I was hoping to lay hands on Time Diver, Another Time Diver or Messenger from the Void for my own Time Drifter...
Never mind...I instead use David's techno-empathic powers to declare his BGM 'Dance of the Machine God'...
what? Delusion's of grandeur and godhood?...
Well, I didn't say it was him making the claim in the first place, di I?
Not really. But still, you already got a freakin AU Time Diver that's officially the ultimate character here in the OC Thread. But that doesn't mean I can't take Ingram or Cobray's BGM's, right? Aurion also has his Infinity Cylinder/Ain Soph Aur Analogous move despite the fact that it'll never be used again in the OC thread. I also hoped to use Dark Prison, but it was already taken. And it doesn't really fit.

Spoiler for Back to the main timeline:
“I can clearly see your connection to the powers of Chaos, but one thing about you is strange – you do not seem to serve any one of the Gods. Nevertheless …”
The voice of the hooded figure obtained a more menacing tone.
“… We are not going to take any unnecessary risks. I will say it only once – do not get yourself involved with this case. Otherwise you will not be simply endangering your own life but will also make other people around you suffer. I believe I do not have to tell you the names.”
***
“The task should not be difficult for you at all. We will be taking care of most of the threats while you shall simply get the named items and destroy the rest along with the depot. You are free to deal with the possible obstacles in any way you will find appropriate. The operation will take place in two days and will serve as the indication of our alliance being officially forged. You will be provided with the detailed plans of the building and its surroundings as well as the profiles on everybody you may encounter there. Though you should be familiar with most of them already. Right, *********?”
***

***

“I … am alright, I think. But … who are you?”
“Eeh?” - ****** stared at her friend with a mixed expression of concern and surprise, - “What do you mean by asking me who I am?”
Epic previews are EPIC!
Looks like these guys really mean business.
Which reminds me to start making more details for my own antagonist in OutcastS.
Wow, awesome list there, Kha. Now I see why it took you this long...NAISU~.

These made me LOL. --Wait... THESE ARE H4XX!!!!
Agreed. Though if you ask me, I wouldn't really call them undead... they'll probably be just as dead as Zest probably is.
And lol Keira, Zara and Asuka. For some reason, EVA's Asuka keeps popping into my mind everytime I link Shinn to Asuka to female...

Oh yes that reminds me, haven't seen him around for a while...
Would you rather they be from the Su**ku comic instead or Nunna**?
Now those are some nifty clothes there...
~~~
Lich King eh?
Well, I'm sure we can tie some things to Al-Hazard... we'll see how it goes.
EMO? @_@ Can't they be...
Spoiler for The past?:
“Is this all?”
“Yes, Lord Inquisitor.’
“Very well, let me summarize what you’ve told us then …”
He briefly skipped through the report once more, making short remarks at some points.
“To tell you the truth I find it extremely hard to believe that we could’ve been missing such major anomaly within the Immaterium all this time.”
“I would say the same at your place, but I’ve seen it myself, experienced it, and that is why-“
“Don’t be so rash, Confessor, the case is quite delicate indeed.”
“I’m sorry, Lord Inquisitor, I understand.”
“By the way, there’s one thing missing in your report.”
“What? Missing?”
“Yes, one thing is missing from your report.”
The Inquisitor put his hands on the table and leaned forward.
"You've mentioned the names of 13 Daemon Lords, right?"
"Yes, 13 holding the most power, but why is this important?"
“Do not interrupt me yet. The Daemon that told you all of this, you've never mentioned that, but which one of those names belongs to him?”
“How? … How do you know he’s one of the Lords at all?!”
Something similar to a grin of satisfaction appeared on the Inquisitor's face.
“Don’t try to hide anything, Confessor. You future has already been sealed. The truth shall be known to everybody.”
The Inquisitor’s voice sounded like coming from the bottom of a deep well, his eye pupils rapidly turning pitch black.
“His name is…”
“My name is…”
The two phrases were spoken simultaneously.
“*********.”
The name echoed in the chamber.
“Lord Inquisitor … you … can’t be ..?”
Spoiler for Back to the main timeline:
“I can clearly see your connection to the powers of Chaos, but one thing about you is strange – you do not seem to serve any one of the Gods. Nevertheless …”
The voice of the hooded figure obtained a more menacing tone.
“… We are not going to take any unnecessary risks. I will say it only once – do not get yourself involved with this case. Otherwise you will not be simply endangering your own life but will also make other people around you suffer. I believe I do not have to tell you the names.”
***
“The task should not be difficult for you at all. We will be taking care of most of the threats while you shall simply get the named items and destroy the rest along with the depot. You are free to deal with the possible obstacles in any way you will find appropriate. The operation will take place in two days and will serve as the indication of our alliance being officially forged. You will be provided with the detailed plans of the building and its surroundings as well as the profiles on everybody you may encounter there. Though you should be familiar with most of them already. Right, *********?”
***
“Sir, we have an urgent report from the Headquarters”, - Sarah entered the room with a worried expression she had never shown before, - “The visual link will be established in a moment – we’re having some troubles with communications due to a nearby Warp Storm.”
“What’s it about?” – Serge wondered if the news were going to mess up his current plans.
“The enemy”, - replied Sarah shortly, - “They’ve made their move, but it’s quite far from here, and … it was S’Zet military base this time. It seems that they’ve taken over the battleship stationed there …”
The way she sounded wasn’t promising anything good.
“How serious is it?”
“It was the flagship, sir.”
With an impossible for a regular human’s body move Sirius’ hand stopped the weapon from hitting his face, grabbing it along with the wielder’s arm.
“Looks like TSAB officers do get some basic training in melee combat”, - he said calmly.
Then he straightened his arm, twisting the opponent’s hand in the process.
“But compared to us without your magic you’re quite worthless.”
His free arm made a quick upward motion accompanied by the sound of breaking bones.
“You have lost.”
***
“It would be enough for me to simply delay you here for a while but I have a feeling that you could appear more troublesome than you seem to be, and when I have an opportunity to prevent troubles from happening I use them.”
The hooded figure stretched the right arm forward, though it was still impossible to see its actual hand.
“I will be killing you all right away.”
A weird magical circle of purple color appeared beneath the figure and the smell of sulfur suddenly filled the air.
“Arcesso Ignis Bellua.”
***
Sirius stood at the place of former office building, seemingly not being harmed more than he’d already been before the impact. A raging aura, its color similar to that of the rotten blood, protected his entire body while the masses of steel, glass and concrete around him were being easily vaporized.
“Impressive”, - he uttered, - “At their peak your powers could even surpass mine. But …”
He made several steps forward.
“… at your condition it’s useless now. No matter what you’ll try, you have lost.”
***
[Constance]
8 AM the following Monday Morning. Constance was to arrive at the facility right and early to meet with her colleagues and her superior. Her objects in this place were clear to her when she received her mission; discover the reason for the disappearances of recruits and officers and arrest those responsible. As far as the people here were concerned, she was a deputy Enforcer trainer in charge of the younger recruits. This assignment appeared to be simple and straight forward. In most cases the disappearances were easy to find since most of them were runaways or elopers with lovers.
It was a short walk from the Condominium to the facility, with how small the city was most things were a short walk, Constance left early though to get a better look at the streets and access points to the facility. She held at her side a nylon duffle bag, brief case combination case containing paper work, memorabilia, and a box of rounds for her Glock. Black high heeled shoes clicked the ground each step she took reaching the front doors of the facility. Wearing a uniform, knee skirt in a dark blue tone, a dress jacket of the same color, and a silk undershirt to finish it off, Constance appeared to be a model officer. Her short hair was brushed back from her eyes by a white gloved hand before she went past the clear, glass doors into the lobby.
The facility was an older designed from the early days of the TSAB. Much of the architecture modeled steel and granite then computers and steel combined. Many years ago the wiring had been gutted and the lobby reconstructed being the only “new” part of the compound aside from the laboratory. The lobby held a massive two story fountain at its base. Marble floors, marble pillars raised up five stories, offices to the right and the elevators to the left. A quick approach to the receptionist desk gave her directions to the elevator on her left; the top floor at floor 15 was her destination.
The elevators were a series of wide, glass cylinders using magnetic energy to raise and lower the platforms to each floor and then the roof; access to floors 12-14 and the roof was only granted to special authority. Each floor the elevator reached a soft ding signaled either its passing or stopping, for Constance it was a non stop flight to the top. At the top, the doors didn’t open immediately, instead they remained closed for a time period of one minute giving the person riding it a moment to gaze out across the city’s span.
The hard steel doors finally opened allowing Constance to step out into the hallway. Another receptionist sat in front of a single door in the back, to her left and right another four doors sat with the four other Commanding Officers offices. She walked without worry or lack of confidence reaching the receptionist’s desk. A moment pausing, she gazed down at the ditzy looking green head behind the desk. She appeared to be only in her early twenties like Constance, thick eye makeup, skirt dangerously too short to be professional, breast implants from the looks of it, and who knew that a low cut blouse with a few buttons unbuttoned was regulation dress wear. The secretary was seated in front of a wide, metal desk with a holographic keyboard and screen positioned in front of her. “I’m here to see, Admiral Franklin Secrin.” Constance spoke raising her voice enough to get the Teen Dream away from her computer conversation on the holographic screen.
Over the sound of thick gum chewing, the stereotype secretary pushed a button in front of her buzzing the twin, red wood door behind her. “Go on in. He’s waiting for you.” She said annoyingly nodding her head to Constance returning to her computer screen.
Constance felt an urge to throw the girl across the room for principle alone. Irritation swept over her normally calm manner. Turning swiftly to the right she went forward pushing her way inside of the office. The massive room was a good twenty feet by twenty feet. Antique legal Logia, paintings from various worlds and times, antique weapons, and a giant tank containing a lizard sized dragon. ‘Certainly has his share of money… Doesn’t he?’ Constance noted gazing around as she walked forward towards the back of the office. The back wall was a window, a massive desk in front of it mirroring how many officers seemed to keep their offices. Constance assumed that the man sitting on the back facing chair would be the admiral. “Admiral, Constance Lantus Reporting.” Constance spoke aloud, her legs coming together to obtain a proper stance.
The expensive, dragon leather chair spun around to face Mage Trainer Constance. Admiral Secrin was one of the youngest Admirals to ever be given the position. Coming from a middle class family from the suburbs; The Admiral excelled in no major classes in school or in the academy that he was in. What did he excel in if not in magic or academic skills? Improvising, sabotaging, data manipulation, and contacts within the facility. He rose in the ranks quickly with these means ducking under watching eyes by either changing videos, rankings, or ensuring those ahead of him faltered. It was when Commander Gil Graham had resigned that he was finally given his position of Admiral; a decision that the founding Brass regrets to this day. Shuffled around until he was placed at an older Facility, the Admiral has since reformed the facility to his own personal needs and desires. The admiral’s appearance fit a young man well. Black hair with tips dyed blond, goatee running around his mouth with a triangle bottom, broad shoulders, thin hands, and athletic legs. He wore his uniform seemingly proudly with his rank and medals shinned and shown for all to see. Many would argue that those same medals belong to others for accomplishments that he stole. “Welcome. Yes I received the information of your transfer recently. Welcome to my Facility, Trainer Lantus.” He gave her a seducers smile flashing perfect straight teeth. The sunlight from the window giving his pale skin a certain glow.
“Yes, sir.” Constance replied setting her hands behind her back, left hand holding onto her wrist. “I will be conducting a new training technique here at the facility to see how well it works before being applied to other facilities.” Her words were spoken without hesitation or doubt in why she was here. The perfect cover, after all, had to have perfect confidence.
“Yes, yes. I read the briefings and reports. I apologize that I do not have more time to discuss your stay here. Enforcer Damuel will be your fellow trainer.” The Admiral gave a dismissive wave to her. He truly had no interest in this new trainer as he should have had. “She is waiting for you out on the training grounds. She enjoys showing off her skill to the new recruits before they begin their training. Before you go to the elevator, please tell my secretary I need to see her.” The admiral turned in his chair fully disregarding Constance’s presence in the room.
Constance smirked at the Admiral’s back. A very cocky, upstart of a man she determined just by this meeting. She bowed her body forward then turned twisting on the heel of her shoes around back to the door. Her hand slid down into the pocket of her skirt withdrawing a small marble sized device. A quick squeeze on the thin outer layer broke the device’s coating turning it into a sticky ball. Constance flicked her wrist sending the device against a nearby statue, no doubt to remain until she removes it.
Once she escaped from the office the secretary didn’t have to be told to go in, she was already waiting for Constance to reach the elevator before descending into the Admiral’s office. Inside of the glass tube again, Constance pressed the button for the basement level then leaned against the glass wall. “Once chore down, no doubt Malaki is on his radio on time listening to whatever the Admiral is going to ever say.” Constance turned her head enough to again gaze out the window watching over the city. The assignment didn’t make much sense to her. She was to investigate reporting of officers and new mages going missing along with unusual magic readings from the laboratory. The two primary suspects are the Admiral and Doctor Celesti Damuel.
Constance lingered for a long moment in the elevator when it reached the basement. Her thoughts a high wire act of wonder and intrigue about this place. Celesti Damuel was the one who caught her attention the most. At one point she was a scientist working in conjunction with Precia Testarossa and on the very same project she worked on, until she broke off to search out her own methods. This alone would have caused an investigation to come over her after the Jewel Seed Incident but nothing happened. As for the Admiral, his quick rise through the ranks, unusual rise to wealthy status, and lack of investigations into many alleged crimes; possible rape, embezzlement, murder, kidnapping, and witness to many suicides, has many wondering how he did even make Admiral to begin with. These allegations made him a prime suspect just by principle alone.
Constance mind shifted instantly when she left the garage area where the elevator was and out in the training field. The open air area expanded to the size of a football field. The area that Constance came from had above it a U shaped stadium set of seats to sit spectators and officials when in the past they would take notes of how training went. Various spots of the dusty field had small emitters implanted into the ground to create structures or enemies at quick disposal for the necessary exercise at hand. Above, various beams went form one side to another to act for rappelling or swinging during combat. At the end of the field, about a quarter mile off, was a massive lake with at the far end the laboratory sat looming in the shadow of a massive mountain. Constance didn’t know what experiments they performed in the multi high rise building, but she was bound to find out sooner or later.
Constance took a moment glancing around the open field. On her left upon leaving the garage a group of young trainees were waiting to watch the mages in work. Most of them had to be anywhere between 10 and 13 years of age. They were staring forward in amazement at the six figures currently on the field; the six before them was Alexandria and her five chosen members of her unit. Each of them wore identical Barrier Jackets to Alexandria’s; a skin tight cat suite of black that covered from their necks down to their feet and hands. Specialized mechanical shoes and finger less gloves were worn on their limbs designed for added traction and grip. Metal plates were specially sculpted to fit onto their shins, thighs, and arms for added reflection projection. Over their torsos they wore metal chest pieces set to fit their individual body shapes. Over their faces, Wyvern masks were placed to hide who they were individually. Of the five of Alexandria’s unit, there were four women and one man, the man and one woman with dark skin, and the other three with light.
Alexandria motioned for her unit to move away and disperse to the side lines. The machinery and holograms went to work creating an urban setting of sprawling buildings and automobiles around. Alexandria smirked when she saw her future partner Trainer standing with the new recruits. “Twilight, Activate Crescent Blades” Alexandria commanded touching the black star imbedded in her chest armor. A bright light engulfed her hands creating her weapons. The dual swords were an unusual shape for long swords; their hilts made of half crescents with the handle attached at the ends opposite the curves. Ice shard wings appeared on her back followed by a glass shattering sound when Alexandria leapt upwards taking to the air; a streak of ice powder flowing behind her. At twenty feet above the materialized structure, Alexandria flipped back down with her back facing the ground in a beautiful summersault. She twisted her self diving towards the ground with the blades extended in front of her. Moments before she hit the hard dirt her body twisted it’s self to fly horizontal with the earth below, the blades extending outwards at her sides with cold energy pulsing to freeze the buildings at their base where they touched. At the end of the holographic street she straightened her self then landed onto her feet. Now, came the fun part.
Multiple humanoid drones dropped down form the tops of the buildings crashing to the ground below. They held no weapons for this particular exercise but they would be well enough for what she needed. Alexandria waited no time at all to attack the drones. When they struck high she ducked down or rolled beneath their blows driving her blades through their legs then up to their torso. The long swords slid on their curved hilts changing their direction without changing how Alexandria was holding them or swinging. When only a few of the drones remained, Alexandria took to the skies positioning her self above the final drones. She moved her blades so one was set behind the other, their shape merging together forming a long range rifle; light blue metal attaching to it. “Twilight, Blast Spike.” Alexandria commanded. Magic symbols appeared beneath her body, energy collected with in the barrel of the rifle. “Fire” She spoke aloud firing at high speeds a globe of dark blue energy.
The orb crashed against the ground sending spikes of ice in every direction where the bottoms of the buildings were frozen. The sharp ice sickles broke the bases of the buildings bringing the high rises crashing down around the drones crushing them beneath the weight. The crowd of on looking recruits began to cheer loudly as the Ice Queen came down landing in front of them.
Constance was amazed by the tactics that she used to defeat her opponents. Not only did Alexandria use brute force and magic to dispatch them, but she used her surroundings to her advantage as well. Constance stepped forward to approach the head Enforcer Trainer of the Facility. Her hand came up brushing back her short, dark brunette hair then took a proper soldier stance. “Good morning. Alexandria Damuel, if I am not mistaken.”
Alexandria glanced up and down over Constance. Her hands drawing back her long black hair from her eyes and shoulders letting it fall behind her. Her barrier jacket vanished in a glow of blue energy, Twilight reforming as a necklace around her neck. “Yes, I have been expecting you. We have much to discuss.”
Alexandria and Constance turned moving back into the garage. Both of them in their peak physical shape, walked with a poise of confidence and maturity rarely seen in officers. “I run my training session’s tough. If someone is unable to understand the dangers of battle, or understand that only the best should become Enforcers, then I ensure that they do not move on.” Alexandria began speaking stopping her movements in front of the closed Elevator. Her hand raised pressing for the fifth floor.
“I agree completely. Someone who is not ready to fulfill a position of combat should not be placed into live combat. It could jeopardize the mission and the lives of others around them. Strict training to draw out and eliminate their weakness is the only method that should be approached.” Constance replied glancing over to the stunning, black haired woman the back forward waiting for the elevator to come down to them.
“We are one in the same it seems. From what I have been told, you will be eliminating possible rejects before they are put under my training. This will allow me to further train possible Enforcers further then I have all ready.”
“Exactly. I have read of your records, and from what I have seen I am quite impressed with your methods of combat and styles. You accomplish your battles quickly and use everything at your disposal.” Constance put her hands behind her back, one hand holding the other’s wrist. She tilted her head back watching the numbers for the floors light up as the elevator reached each designated floor.
“We have much to discuss it seems. I am sure I will enjoy working with you, Trainer Lantus.”
“As I, with you, Enforcer Damuel.”
[Minea]
Dear Diary, March 27th
I’m afraid I angered Alexandria again this morning. When I woke up she was sitting at the end of my bed watching me sleep but… she was clearly angry with how she was snarling. All the pictures I had on my walls been torn down; the photos of Signum, mother, Alexandria, and everyone at the diner littered the ground.
“What have I told you about disrespecting Mother and I.” She said throwing a picture of Signum at me. “I should be the one you look up to and cherish, my dear sister. Not someone you have never met.” She screamed at me as she began to hit me. “I am going to discipline you now, my dear sister.” I remember her saying that just as I felt her grab my leg, and a painful crack coming from my foot. I don’t know how much time passed, but when she was done, Judas took me to Mother’s lab to be checked on.
Mother was there to see my injuries. She put my foot in a splint and told me it was broken, she bandaged my left cheek, above my right eye, and wrapped my ribs up saying two were cracked. She actually spoke to me though this time, “She does this out of Love, Dear Minea.” She’s never talked like this before. “You should listen to what she and Mother say.” Judas took me home so I could call Vanissa to tell her I wouldn’t be coming in for a week; Mother told me that I would be out for that long. The mage who normally heals me is away right now.
Judas took me home and set me to bed. He made me lunch then went to sit at my door to make sure I didn’t leave. I want to go to the diner even if I am hurt but mother said no. She told me that they both love me… That’s what she said. I just want to make them happy but not be hurt for it… Isn’t there anything I can do?
[Celesti]
Celesti sat in her underground office watching on her holographic screen as Minea wrote in her diary. Two other screens were opened monitoring Minea’s vital signs and the energy coming from her Logia heart. Realization would surmise showing on her face as the energy from the Logia increased when she spoke about love and spending time at the diner, but decreased during the time she wrote about turmoil. Celesti turned once of the three screens to show the activity of the Logia from 9 years ago when the Condominium complex’s pets changed into monsters from the Logia draining their life. She had written about being lonely, and wanting her family. “Brilliant. I may know how to activate its full potential. Precia was close to uncovering the truths, but her madness caused by fools drove her to the brink. My dear Minea, you hold the blood of my self and another’s in your veins. Soon, our dreams will be realized.”
Very nice. I realized I never really commented on you before, but I've been a reader. Solid details, fine pacing and everything moving along well, with their own ties. Good read.
Quite...and what if the attack is intercepted by another attack? Or what if somone gets in the way (human shield)?
And what if you put Miss 'Never Miss' and Sir 'Never Hit' against eachother?
But yeah, they are a bit haxxed.....
- The only condition it needs to fulfill is to hit something may it be a wall behind you, or your shielding or another shot to deflect it- or someone to take your place at the right moment.
- Good question, but already answered- no one wins- first of all, the KDs are now in good hands- no need to pit keepers against each other and that kind of technique can be used against masses of enemies- the unhittable swordsman being a lure to the nevermissing archer's arrows- the arrows hitting anyone caught between.
Likely. Let's just say no more spotlight fighting for him after RevivalS. He'll be in a more supporting role ala-Saga and the Zerstro-dan in the latter arcs. And of course, a suitable plot device if other OC's need upgrades or new equipment. (Like Apalis and the new Shell Bullet.)
Hmm... Yeah. So what about the other OC's to be involved? The forwards and one Ace would be enough for almost any drone by those points.
Should I watch that show? I don't really know who Louise is.
She's a nice girl OVERALL - she can kick my ass if she thinks I'm being a pervert, or just too stubborn. But she's nice most of the time: in terms of characters, she's 80% Belldandy and 20% Shana.
Well, I've thought it over, and you are indeed right - without AMF, the drones are essentially cannon fodder, and thus the opponents are REALLY only the Dunamists. However, there are an INSANE number of drones, and eventually the Big Bad will launch an attack upon the city where the heroes are staying, which is why I'll be involving more than just the 82nd and MD6 - they'll be necessary for defense of the city.
However, other than that (and a couple of other scenes), combat against this threat will be handled solely by MD6 and the 82nd. The roles of the other involved units will be similar to Yuuno and Acous, running in the background, digging up whatever knowledge they can find on their (at first) mysterious opponents.
<raises eyebrow> Either you're joking about not knowing Louise, or when you said that she was your fav anime char. Please clarify which.
I like this quote better:
"We love flat-chested girls, because when you hug them they're closer to your heart."
Arcas will eventually have the power of all THREE!
The Dragonslayer Dunamist (his eventual title) in Man On Fire Mode is REALLY SCARY! I have a scene inspired by Bleach (from the SS Arc). Remember when Ichigo showed up, and beat THREE LIEUTENANTS BAREHANDED! Remember the "Holy SHIT!" feeling you got? THAT is what Arcas is going to inspire, in friend and foe alike.
Re: Mel - I know. She's so lovable and sweet, that it takes an INCREDIBLY HATEFUL PERSON to not like her (HINT!).
Re: Tsundere Tsurugi - You're right!
And just HOW cliche is that quote?
Allow me to make a Mephisto as well to complete the five Dunamists!
He's Albert Mephisto, Andrea's associate and also a Dunamist. Rank AAA and specializes in defense/support magic. He uses a clawed staff as a weapon. Also an illusionist. So, what do you think? He's a bit of a sadist so he could very well do in the mindscrew department.
And also, the devices have names now!
Andrea's device = Sutherland = A bowgun with an automatic pistol loader. Can make ammo of it's own. The ammunition can be used as close range weapons in a pinch. 8 cartridges.
Albert's device: Gloucester = A staff with a claw on the end. Uses a Metal Storm loader ala-Cross Mirage. Four cartridges
Whatcha think?
Awesome! All I need are pictures of the Devices. And as to defense/support, what type? My female OC is going to be providing buffs a la Caro.
And I read the profiles of the characters in their Canon Universe - and all I can say is COOL!
I'll address the Dunamist characters further in the NEW MATERIAL section.
Anyway - here's my template:
@Reiji:
Specialization - defensive style knight/debuff magic; Belkan style, magic color - akin to rusty metal.
Mage rank - AAA+ ~ S-
Spoiler for picture:
Name - I'd like to consult about that: will anything I come up with do or there'd be some suggestions? Same goes for actual spell names and the device.
Device - generic armed device in a form of a huge two-handed sword, equipped with standard cartridge system.
Abilities/spells:
Main specialization - self-defence and counterattacks. Defensive spells are self-centered and are generally not meant to protect the allies (except generic Area Protection). In addition to standard Belkan Barrier/Shield spells they include the following:
- Reactive Barrier - 360 degree protection which is able to partially reform the energy of absorbed attacks to launch counter-assaults against the attackers; the effect varies slightly depending on the nature of reflected attack;
- Spark Shield - a directed shield that produces a powerful shock effect upon contact, effectively stunning the attacker; most suitable against melee attacks;
- Skin of Steel - greatly enhances defensive capabilities of the user's Knight Armor at the price of reduced agility;
- Attractor Shield - a directed shield which forcefully attracts the attack or spell of a chosen target to itself; if a melee attack is blocked by it the attacker won't be able to pull his/her weapon back easily, leaving him/her open for a counterattack;
- Attractor Barrier - 360 degree protection which forcefully attracts the attacks or spells of all nearby targets to itself; if a melee attack is blocked by it the attacker won't be able to pull his/her weapon back easily, leaving him/her open for a counterattack; it's quite risky to use when multiple opponents are present;
- Mirror Shield/Mirror Slash - ultimate defensive spell, as well as a counterattack; fully absorbs incoming magic and launches a counter-assault either as copies of the absorbed attacks or a single energy blade made out of the absorbed energy and the user's own reserves; the drawback is very heavy strain caused to the user and inability to adjust the shield's strength - it always has to be activated at full power.
Auxiliary specialization - debuff magic. Includes some offensive spells as well.
- Life Drain - offensive spell severely draining the stamina of a chosen target, at the same time replenishing that of the user and even healing minor wounds; most effective when used as a touch attack at close range but is still functional at medium range as well (by simply pointing at the target);
- Impairing Slash - a melee attack with the sword that greatly reduces the victim's physical strength and agility if it connects (blocking with device/weapon counts as connection while using magical shields doesn't);
- Arc Shackle - shoots a crescent-shaped energy blast with a swing of the sword which damages the target and binds it (the bind takes effect even if the target shielded against the blast);
- Soul Plague - appearance differs for the cases of usage in mid-air or on the ground; in mid-air it produces a shockwave 360 degrees around the user, though the range is quite short; on the ground the earth beneath the user is struck with the sword and the shockwave comes from the surrounding ground in a much wider range; the victims suffer moderate damage to their Linker Cores and their magical abilities become greatly hindered;
- Fatal Strike - channels the user's own life energy into the blade, where it turns into a kind of potent poison as well as amplifying its cutting power; the victim must be actually struck by the blade for the attack to be fully effective; if it succeeds it cancels all the positive boosts the victim could've had and bestows a curse upon him which greatly reduces the power of his/her defenses and makes his/her every action cause him/her severe pain.
Trivia:
The Knight has or had a female feline familiar once. Anyway she's not with him anymore.
Comments please
Name - you come up with what you can think of, so will I, and I'll make the final decision.
Device - same as Name
Spell Names - they're fine, though I recommend you replace Attractor with Magnet for the relevant spells.
Impressive char you've got here - I only object to 2 spells.
1. Soul Plague - Linker Core damage is a no-no. This is a short story, taking only 4-5 weeks, and I don't know how long it will take to heal. Plus, the 82nd will need all the magical firepower they can muster for AlternateS II. However, if you don't intend for him to use this spell on the heroes, then I'll approve it.
2. Fatal Strike - I object because there's no specific timeframe for the ability - if it only lasts a few hours, then no problem. If it's permanent, then no way.
NEW MATERIAL!!!!
Okay, thanks to Aaron and An Hero for writing up my opponents.
Re: Dunamists
There are 5 opponents, which I can (thanks to other Creators) now spread out in units throughout the Tripartite where the 82nd can keep in contact.
Now, I have plans for my two OCs, but the real question is the other three.
<raises eyebrow> Either you're joking about not knowing Louise, or when you said that she was your fav anime char. Please clarify which.
You misunderstood me. HAYATE is my favorite anime girl. I don't watch Zero no Tsukaima. You're giving her the meddler role, right? Since you want me to clarify my point; several of us are working on the same timeline. So it would be kinda weird if let's say Nanoha is normal in one arc then suddenly heartless without any apparent reason in another arc which is the sequel. That's why I was thinking that Hayate seems to really not fit the severe relationship meddler role since she isn't like that in Canon AND in any other arcs. In any case, do as you wish. Just try not to make it look so bad. I'm just backing up my gripes with a bit of consistency. You could make it a meddler for the reason of strengthening their relationship role.
More power play?
What rank will he get by the end, huh? This is starting to look incredibly HAXX!
You better give us a good reason not to use the HYPER MODERATION BUSTER KHAAANON on you after LegendS.
Let's see if I can find some and fix the basic abilities list later... Albert provides defenses and confusion with some nerf spells.
Agreed. Though if you ask me, I wouldn't really call them undead... they'll probably be just as dead as Zest probably is.
I thought it was their biological parts have been destroyed, leaving rotting flesh on intact cyborg parts, resulting in the look of a zombie. I supposed revived would do nicely.
That was my reaction too. Even when I first heard of Aska Shinn, I immediately linked him to Asuka from EVA and Princess Aska from Magic Knight Rayearth.
Just a working title. Psychic power is a power totally different from Belka or Midchilda magic, there are other choices like Holy Belka (nah), Chaos Belka (can use that), Tronium (OMFG), and is use by Scagletti of the 6th Division timeline.
Yeah. I'm still waiting for more canon to see what they've done for Spagetti for him to the "Orphan of Alhazred". And what the heck exactly is his dream, cause I'm not expecting my ascension theory to hold now. More like "Saturday Morning Cartoon-esque" World Domination plot.
Pardon me... The 3 Emos' characterization is me doing character assassination.
Keira: Wants to protect everyone, but can't bring herself to hurt a fly.
Zara: Needs to be less wishy-washy.
Asuka: Fights randomly. Berserks. Cries. A lot.
When I do get around to them maybe I'll moderate things a little.
