I'm starting to slowly upload stuff. I can't upload really fast becuase it bugs my family though, of course.

If i'm not mistaken, you can only purchase NOT translated higurashi manga.

Somebody emailed me a lot of the Higurashi stuff /o/

Actually, the only reason it takes such a short time is because I only use Adjustment Layers (like Levels & Curves) to clean & I use the Actions to do all that in less than a minute. But if you look at the scans, you can see that the cleaning job is really bad
(it's still pretty grainy). If I took the time to correct that, I'm sure it'd take more than a day.

Oh yeah, and the chapters for that particular manga are about 20 pages. Editing the 60+ pages of an Umineko chapter would most likely take longer.

And when should I look foward to the translated version?

Three chapters of the Umineko manga have been released & the fourth chapter will be released on April 22nd. The released chapters have already been scanlated by me & serenade_beta and it can be found here (scroll down a bit).

All I could find was this article. It doesn't specify which arcs they got the rights for, so perhaps they got all of them. I'm a bit disappointed that they'll be serializing it in a magazine with other manga series though as I'm not really interested in them. On the bright side, the article says they'll be releasing it that way "initially", so perhaps they'll produce compilations of the manga on a later date.

Oh , I hope you guys will continue scanslating T_T, even if they start with Onikakushi very soon, then it still won't be awhile untill they get to chapter 5 of Himatsu T_T

I have some bad news for all you manga readers out there…EBL is no more. Due to a general lack of free time from the staff, and some irreconcilable differences we have decided to close the doors on this group. It has been a good 2.5 years and I’ve enjoyed every minute of it! Thank you all for your support all this time, catch you on the flip side!

Anyone in contact with EBL?

They had like one chapter to go right? It would be a shame if they didn't put the finishing touches on it, I bet we could figure out a way to give them one last helping hand if they need it...
