Spoiler for Ep 10:

As usual, yet another great ep from Ika Musume. The first segment was definitely the funniest, if only for the pictures Ika Musume made. Amongst the hilarious the best one is definitely Sanae of the dead, I literally LOL at that part. The Teru Teru Bouzo is really scary, especially the last one...I don't fault Takeru to have such a reaction, his face when scared is hilarious too. And don't worry, Takeru! If watching anime for years has taught me anything, being plain without any distinctive characteristics means you'll have a harem of beautiful girls later on! Just wait a few years until you hit high school, meanwhile work on finding an osana najimi (Ika?) and work those flags!

Compared to that, the second segment is much more emotional...I know Sanae is pretty much a stalker but I can't help feeling sorry for her after all those sacrifices. Damn those withdrawal symptomps are severe, she sees Ika Musume pretty much anywhere, even up to hallucination. Still, in the end the status quo is restored and while it may not be as healthy, normal Sanae is funnier, so it's okay for me. Come to think of it, now that she deleted Ika's files and burned the outfit, doesn't it mean she needs to do it all over again? Poor Ika Musume...

The third segment is instead more focused on how cute and adorable Ika Musume is (also, thankfully they don't forget about Ika's best friend, she needs one) is as well as the tension and action from a baseball game. Ahh, this makes me miss Cross Game again, maybe I'll watch the finale again tonight...

Oh, and this episode pretty much confirms that Ika's tentacles (btw, are they real tentacles or hair? Because there are other blue parts on her head that's not tentacles) greatly overpowered her hands not just in strength and reflexes, but also even finesse and artistic ability, perhaps even her math genius skill too. Really, it's like it has a mind of its own, it reminds me of Doc Ock's tentacles now...

This show hasn't missed a beat with me and have totally love every second of it.

I'd have to agree that the 1st segemnt was probably the best just cause of Ika-chan's pictures.
Altho saying that theres a great feeling to the 3rd part.
I loved how Ika-chan made friends with Kiyomi before and it's great to see how well she fits in with the middle schoolers

Not going to lie, Sanae creeped me the fuck out with that face. Hell, not even the entire cast of Welcome to the NHK! looked anywhere near as horrifying as she did.

If I want to see disturbing shit I'll watch Higurashi instead. Don't put it in my silly squid girl comedy.

I was about to skip the ED this week, until I saw the mini ika-musumes running across the screen. Going to keep a lookout everyweek, since their are always some surprises.

based on every episode so far, ika was a human girl who was possessed by an alien squid like creature who brainwashed her into thinking she came from the sea and went to land to invade humanity.

Ika is not brainwashed. She's an actual sea monster. She probably lived amongst mermaids, old ones, and the like. She's certainly some sort of sea fairy, spirit, force thing.
She could be Cthulhu... at least his offspring.

People treat her as if she in her late teens but petite for her age. No one really thinks twice about her as a waitress. She was mistaken for a job applicant the first time out of the water. No one ever bothers to look for her parents. "Oh look, there is this tiny girl with a squid on her head acting bat poop CRAZY! Call the cops and look for her parents!"

She's treated as if she were 18, of legal age.

One of the characters wondered if she even had human rights as a sea monster.
