How come Orsola becomes his wife if Touma loves Index ? Or there's something that I didn't understand.

Some source for that , or it's just a rumor ?

well according to the author from volume 11 to 22 it was a single arc, so im quessing its not gonna end soon.

I wouldn't count 11 as part of it... The reason why he said that was because that's the arc where Vent appeared... And only for the epilogue.

I for one plan on living a long, long time, as I do think many people here. I don't think there's a lot of us over 30, and over fifty I think isn't here (It's possible I suppose).

But to make it a satisfying end, he's going have to address:
1) What's Touma's true power
2) What Aleister's true aims are
3) Where Touma got the freakin' IB
4) Aiwass downfall (hopefully, he's really beginning to tork me off)
5) (least likely resolved) Which girl gets Touma.

IT'd be nice to be extended like how in bleach aizen was like forever the main bad guy and now they started anew. In other words you think aleister is the biggest bad guy when it could be many angels like aiwass.

Once a series becomes too long I generally drop it, but Index is just too interesting to drop right now, and it isn't that long yet...

I will object if it goes up to a eighty LN and drop it after that, in fear of it never being finished due to Author Existence Failure.

Let's see...
-Shana will end by Vol22,
-ToraDora ended at Vol10,
-Zero no Tsukaima is currently at Vol19 and is probably just past the half way or 2/3 mark,
-Nogizaka Haruka no Himitsu might end at the next volume (Vol13),
-Wolf and Spice will end at the next one, Vol16;

So there's really no trend that i can see. But these are the only LN series I read anyway (not incl 'Heavy Object' as that just came out recently, also by the author of Index) so it's probably not a inclusive list to guess the length from.

Chances are a LN series will be around 10-15, but for those that goes over that it might end around 20-something. As TAMNI already went past 22, plus the SS novels (which brings it up to 24 Index ones if the Kanzaki and Stiyl ones don't count), I'm guessing this series might go to around 30ish.
