Edit: So there's a magazine page floating around that gives more comprehensive data on the lovely girls of the other schools, including a point that thoroughly smashes any doubt that these girls are Japanese: where they came from. Spoiler for Copypasted Anon translations:
Interesting to note how homogeneous the places of birth are for each particular school: Kuromorimine: Kumamoto Prefecture Pravda: Hokkaido Saunders: Nagasaki Prefecture Anzio: Aichi Prefecture St. Gloriana: Kanagawa Prefecture While obviously most of Oarai is from Ibaraki prefecture, IIRC Miho was listed as also being from Kumamoto, which rather handily fits with the above.

Interesting, but I must wonder if whoever wrote this (be it in-universe or out-of-universe) was actually watching the battles when they came to conclusions such as Kuromorimine getting a 5/5 in Crew Training and Command while Saunders and Pravda get 2/5 in both while St. Gloriana gets 3/5 in Crew Training and 4/5 in Command.
I will refrain from making further jokes as to KMM's performance (which at best deserve 1/5, if not 0/5 in each). But Pravda should get a relatively high mark in Crew Training (they were actually shooting out weapons), and Saunders should get a good mark in command (they actually maneuver by section and platoon, and while Alisa is no great tank commander, she's a great staff officer - I added a little blurb in TVTropes to explain why). Though St. Glorianna supposedly has a pretty formation, it is not as far as I can see significantly better than the others, they shoot poorly but at least they don't panick so I'll give them a lower mark that's still higher than KMM. |

A rescoring of the first episode using music and sound effects form Space Battleship Yamato 2199. This one is new as it uses tracks from the recently released Second OST album for Yamato 2199. Yamato and Girls und Panzer seem to have similar sales figures and the crossover of fanbases is probable.

I agree I still can't believe they fit so much into 15 minutes, it felt like a full ep. And they even gave a shout to the Anchovies Last edited by mangatron; 2013-06-29 at 02:56. Reason: fixed link |

Huh? OVA 6 was frankly, not exactly Yukari's "Moment of Awesome". No special tank neta. No special wilderness skills displayed. She just does what everyone else did in their special show segment... except for getting drunk with orange juice, this may be the most "normal" Yukari yet...
