More of a buildup episode. I think one of the upcoming battles will be obvious based on what Natsu sensed after encountering Silver. Shame about Elfman tbh. I feel bad for him because of the shit he has to go through as result of Macro.

I hope the Oracion Seis fight involving Jellal won't drag too long..

Hey! A preview that didn't actually spoil anything! Who'd have thought?!

And the Tartaros arc contains to get ever so darker. Good pacing too and little recap.

Well, at least they're being true to the source material. One of the two manga chapters that this episode was based on also had the same title and only a few pages of Jellal fighting the Oracion Seis.

Seilah is the spelling Hiro chose for her. And if not, it's the spelling the official manga used, and it's the spelling her name tag in the anime uses.

So, while watching the episode I noticed that Natsu seems to be radiating heat (as seen by Lisannas reactions and comments since he was thrown in the jail cell) and that has me thinking about the scarf probably absorbing said heat, I mean it could be just me and the heat is from something else, but the way they focused so much on the scarf makes me wonder.

Clever rationalization but I think they're just trying to make a way for them to seem uncomfortable since they aren't naked like in the manga.

No, Natsu just really loves his scarf. It's his only keepsake from Igneel.

Could be but the in the next episodes preview Lisanna doesn't seem to be feeling well and that face isn't embarrassment or something of the like, still have we ever seen him without the scarf for longer than a few minutes? (In story).

Yeah, he doesn't swim with his scarf on and there have been pool party and beach episodes. Still, given the fact that the scarf has a scaly pattern and absorbed flippin' DEATH MAGIC, I'd say it is special in more ways than one.

Well a lot happened.

About time Jellal beat the hell out of Oracion Seis. Jackal and Tempesta revived and Minerva returned as a demon. Welp...and that Lemy is a yandere. I don't feel bad for Kyoka killing the former council member Crawford or whatever his name is though. Imo, that guy deserved it for betraying the council. The new OP theme song is alright although I like the previous ED theme better.

So um what's the point of titling the episode Demonic Reincarnation when that whole chapter was already adapted this episode? Plus it has nothing to do with the events of the next two chapters.

Good episode though. Really like the new opening. Not so much the new ending, but at least no fanservice.

Maybe it has something to do with the 3 cut characters that are being included in the anime.

Hmm, I liked the previous OP. Not that the new one is bad, but it's gone back to the ways of the old OPs <_< Meh ED. Good episode, Jellal going all Madara on the OS after getting special beam cannon'd by Zero was epic! Silver remains a mystery, Elfman's plot progressed a bit and Jackal & Tempester are back. Erza's torment carries on...you'd think that after all that pain sensitivity, she'd either faint, die or damage her nerves so much that she wouldn't be able to feel any more pain.

This arc's going strong, waiting on next week's episode.

Solid episode. But....can this show pay attention to its own history at all? 500 times as powerful as Jupiter? That pathetic explosion? That wasn't even half as dangerous as Jupiter.

Other than that bit the episode was good. Erza struggling in her situation, Jellal actually managing to recruit Cobra and company is actually pretty cool. Of course on the downside Tartaros keeps getting stronger and recovering its members while Fairy Tail keeps on losing combatants. This is turning into quite the mess...

I'm pretty sure the intended explosion did not occur, since most of Fairy Tail members are alive the next episode. Something must have happened to decrease the power of the bomb.

Also, I'm guessing Mira-Jane will become a demon and join the enemy. That does suck.
