Is it me, or are advanced Akuma kinda less lethal than Lvl1 Akuma, who supposedly can kill you by bleeding on you? (Unless you've got parasitic innocence or something, I suppose.)

When's the last time you saw an Akuma being given a chance to bleed?

Actually, during the Invasion Arc...Socalo cut one up and let it bleed, but I digress.

As for the Akuma blood virus, yes, equip types are more vulnerable, but Lv. 1's are far easier to destroy as compared to Level 2's or 3's, that's what makes the Higher Levels so dangerous.

Because they don't GET wounded, well, except for Lavi during the "Title" arc but we all know what happened.

When an Akuma evolves, it's weapon improves depending on the individual's situation. As a level 1, their only form of attack is the bullet with their blood virus. As they level up, it becomes more complex, It changes, no longer using the blood virus and instead, use other forms of weaponry.

While the blood bullet virus is effective against a human, it just doesn't cut it against an Exorcists. So the Akuma evolves to use newer weapons.

And just like any other weapon in existence, you can't have everything.

The Lenalee x Allen combo killed the Akuma for good, though it wouldn't be possible for them without Cross.

The funny thing is that both kids stopped dead in their tracks when Cross mentioned to the Akuma that he wouldn't forgive it for messing his clothes.

Cross must have had modified the Innocence in his bullets to cause that Akuma to swell up misshapenly at an alarming rate.

We also confirmed for this chapter that Lv. 4's are still loyal to the Earl, but can they still take orders from the Noah family?
