I looked back at Nakamura's songs to see if I understand it... and this looks close enough (again, with assumption that the VA is singing to the character, and not that Graham is singing):

どこか遠い国では
命、祈り、儚さ取る
孤独の中戦ってる
その強さはどこへ向かうのか

dokoka tooi kuni de wa
inochi, inori, hakanasa toru
kodoku no naka tatakatteru
sono tsuyosa wa doko e mukau no ka

In some distant land,
you carry life, prayers, and transience
Fighting amidst solitude
Where is your strength headed to?

I'm not sure about what I hear from the second one so I won't give it a shot.

Graham Akre/Yuuchi Nakamura single lands at #18 at the Oricon single dailies, Gundam 30th Anniversary compilation lands at #20 at the Oricon album dailies, both released today. Of course these are first day sales and the sales index is not published either. We will get the numbers for these on the weekly tally.

Anyway, for daily debut ranks, landing at 1-5 is very good, 6-10 is good, 11-20 is "not bad/still sold anyway".

EDIT: Quick search on 4chan for everyone's debut ranks... (and the search made me feel like such an Oricon addict... I'm not that much. I was watching this week because of the Natsumi Kiyoura CD debut, which plainly flopped past the 30's rank *sigh*)

Wow, 24 tracks? I don't remember 24 pieces of music in the first episode. I'm guessing some are from future episodes, going by the track titles (track 13's title for example).

I just watched Gundam 00 Special Edition III ED sequence, and I gotta to say that Refrain is my favorite ending song from all three SEs sang by mille face.

It goes along very well with the scenes (or the arts by Kouga Yun) showing Lyle and Anew, Allelujah and Marie, Tieria and Ribbons, and Setsuna and Marina, and then all four Meisters together.

The song is kinda slow, but it doesn't sound sad (espeically the chorus part). In fact, it seems like a hopeful song to me (maybe it's because I don't know the meaning or the lyrics yet LOL).

The Gundam 00 movie image song by Uverworld is already finished, and will be released on March 31 as the b-side song in their new single "Gold".

Track name is "Arashi No Yokan"

It's included in the Drama Suit Vol.3, which is Lacus's.

Step aside 00 soundtrack, there's a new orchestral "meister" in town. Seriously though, I've been listening to the first Unicorn soundtrack and the pieces simply blow my mind. Truly beautiful...

After a few listens, i could easily say that Unicorn's score ranks up as one of the best for the franchise. Up there with Turn A Gundam and Victory.

I have such mixed feelings about the Track 08 song "A Letter". On the one hand it's powerful as hell and a very Gundamesque ballad, but on the other hand the singer is kind of Engrishy. Still can't remember the last time I heard any English in anything to do with anime since (perhaps unsurprisingly) MS Igloo 2. I'm pretty sure Sunrise has a hard on for the English language.

Edit: Okay now I can't stop looping it so I think I have my answer as to how I feel about it.

Edit 2: Also I'm pretty sure Piano to Anna is just the Moonlight Sonata's 1st movement with some changed up notes and tempo.

Yes that game had all around awesome music, that being my favourite track as the battle music in the early stages.

The soundtrack is nice, especially the 2nd track "Unicorn" and the 5th "Mobil suit" which are awesome and epic.

Am I having a religious experience or is Track 23 - Licht Meer just something sublime.

i didn't really like Licht Meer that much. Unicorn and Zero Gravity were both excellent to my ears though. i'll give it a full run through tomorrow.
