Hello there people! Just registered!

I endend up here after discovering the new Macross anime, Macross Frontier. I watched it when I was young, and was surprised one day surfing the net to discover that there was a new release of it (I really never followed animes). So, after searching and clicking I found this site and decided to register on the forums to read and discuss about it.
Since I quite like the concept of big robots, space battles and such, I will try to find other animes in that area. Also, I don’t know anyone my age that still watches animes..Yep, I am 31, married with a kid and another baking in the oven…Sounds strange huh? Well, at least my wife thinks it is cute...

You can use subscriptions to get notification when a thread is updated but since there is no post threaded-system other then the link to the first post, there is no effective way to determine if someone replied to you. I've written in a faq a short explanation on the subscribtion system. You can use the subscription system to get notifications only on the forum, but setting it so it bugs you via email is also possible.

My name is Joe, I'm almost 24, I'm in the Army. I live in Germany right now though. I'm pretty new to the whole manga/manhwa scene, and my experience in anime series is limited to Bleach so far.

I'm starting to find new series that I like so hopefully in time my ability to actually discuss will grow.

I just picked up the November issue of Yen Plus yesterday, and have already fallen in love with Bamboo Blade, Higurashi : When They Cry and Soul Eater. So if anyone can suggest starting points for me, feel free to send a PM. I'm not sure I'll be patient enough to wait for the monthly Yen Plus chapters. . .

Anyway, thanks for your time, hopefully I'll get to know some of you here and you all can immerse me in this beautiful and entertaining culture!

If you like bleach,
I would reccomend watching D. Gray-man, however, it has a more dark tone about it.
But I think you will like it too.

Hello people. My name is ******* but you can all call me Leo. I started watching anime 2 years ago Naruto. I also started into Bleach a few months after that And started on One Piece at the end of last year, and it has become my absolute favorite anime. I've also seen Death Note and Claymore.
