Seriously, D-KLAC, stop. Every time we point out the flaws in your argument, you find something else to gripe about. We don't want to hear it. Either say something positive about the dubbing, or stay the hell out of the thread.

Even if it is union work, there aren't that many VAs willing to dub. Lots of anime and video games are voiced by these people. They're at the lower end of the pay scale compared to those of TV stars and movie stars. At least they tried hard to make it interesting.

Well seen the first season of it in english and japanese, an r2 in japanese Really They both sound great with thelish VA that played the parts. I like watching it in english though just because theres so much that goes on I dont feel like haveing to read the subs and just simple watch it. One question Im watching the seris on Adult Swim right now and its almost finished with the dub Code geass episodes ofr the first season, when it is finished will they start dubbing Code geass r2?

1. Stage Actors/Actresses(with a couple of minor movie/tv roles here & there) 2. Radio DJ/Hosts 3. Dub Directors Like Lara Jill Miller(VA for Scheris Adjani from S-Cry-ed whole lot of Digimon roles) said, "I rather go into sound room and do voiceovers in a tanktop and jeans than slave away in a blouse and skirt in a courtroom."(She was a lawyer.) I didn't really like the dub when it was first released...but it got better over time. Yuri Lowenthal really got to evoking shades of Kuma from Afro Samurai through Suzaku around the last couple of episodes, and I liked that. Everyone had gotten better by then, and though I still prefer the Japanese version, the dub is rather well-done.
I especially liked both Jeremiah's and Lloyd's VAs, too. |
