So there's no problem about season 2 being aired after season 1. Actually, most of the dubbers in Code Geass have more experience. It's like ur watching Naruto and Bleach but there is still quality.

Wow, many have slotted u on their ignore lists. Do you know about... "ethics"?
but the bad news for R2 dub is that when it shown well it got the same scked showing like season 1 geass being shown at 5:00 AM, which is what Adult Swim calls in its bumps "The Graveyard Slot".

really a total "finger" salute SCREW JOB by cn for having r2 plan at 5:00am et.

so like grab tivo, dvr, recorder, as website, & youtube to watch R2 dub in nov.

I had forgotten that Tamaki knocked the crap out of someone..
V2 sounded a bit awkward.

So what's this got to do with the voice actors?

Seriously, D-KLAC, stop. Every time we point out the flaws in your argument, you find something else to gripe about. We don't want to hear it. Either say something positive about the dubbing, or stay the hell out of the thread.

Even if it is union work, there aren't that many VAs willing to dub. Lots of anime and video games are voiced by these people. They're at the lower end of the pay scale compared to those of TV stars and movie stars. At least they tried hard to make it interesting.

There's plenty, and the money isn't bad at all, but the thing is that dubbing is a part time job. It depends on how much roles you get and how popular you are. Actors like Johnny Yong Bosh, Steven Jay Blum, Yuri Lowenthal would likely live off voice acting quite easily with the public appearences and whatnot. I've also noticed when looking at some VA's histories, they are usually also or was:

1. Stage Actors/Actresses(with a couple of minor movie/tv roles here & there)
2. Radio DJ/Hosts
3. Dub Directors

Like Lara Jill Miller(VA for Scheris Adjani from S-Cry-ed whole lot of Digimon roles) said, "I rather go into sound room and do voiceovers in a tanktop and jeans than slave away in a blouse and skirt in a courtroom."(She was a lawyer.)

Episode 25 is up on AS Video. Orange sounds even more crazy dubbed than he does in Japanese.

Crispin Freeman is arguably the best man at action in the US, the other option is Steven Blum (Todoh).

I lol'd that Lulu's dubbed voice is the same as dubbed Ichigo's from Bleach.

I didn't really like the dub when it was first released...but it got better over time. Yuri Lowenthal really got to evoking shades of Kuma from Afro Samurai through Suzaku around the last couple of episodes, and I liked that. Everyone had gotten better by then, and though I still prefer the Japanese version, the dub is rather well-done.

I especially liked both Jeremiah's and Lloyd's VAs, too.

same here. I only watch dubs to see if they're well-done.
