Can you tell me if you jumped directly on the chapter or you played it from the start or from a save state? also did it appear like that or after you pushed some button first? Technically the menu should open with Ange by default.

I didn't even know that onscripter had that function, but you can simply use the stamp button and then copy it with "ctrl v" on MSpaint (or whatever graphic editor you use). If you do that while on full screen mode (press F) you won't even need to crop it.

For the part where you get to the two choices at the end, how much of the end does each choice change? Is the ending completely different or just some minor changes?

Whenever you guys make a patch for the games I always read from the very beginning. Eve though you made an option to read from the second half, I will still read from the beginning not only the atmosphere but to show my appreciation for the work you have done over the years. Thank you all for your hard work and I hope you guys will get some rest and enjoy yourselves.

I jumped to the chapter that was named something like "The First Quiz". I had a save after Natsuhi's quiz so I went back and checked, and it does happen again as soon as the chapter ends (at least, I think it does?) after Natushi's. I'm not sure when/if it changes back to normal since I've only gotten up through Maria's quiz, but during the scene for Maria and Rosa, it's still not changed back.

And it opens with Battler by default for me, even when he's in the right place. Because of, well, this.

Now for a question. Assuming you read to the end of the 50% patch should you jump to the last possible selection or do you need a to choose an earlier one?

There's just no way that it was done consciously. The fact that Lion is never referred as anything that would give away her/his sex is a plot point that's even discussed in the story.

Either your friend misunderstood or he spotted an error.

Could your friend at least point out where it happened? The amount of Lion and Jessica relationship scenes doesn't help and I really can't remember where we could do such mistake while we specifically hunted any gender specification.

That's normal. It only appears on the trick end.
