TAF is the Tokyo Anime Fair. Although it has studios, reps, displays etc. Its not as big as say comiket or even Anime Expo. I think the con although open to the public Sat and Sunday, probably caters more to the business side of anime. The book cost about 3000¥. Came with a nice clear file. I'm on the look out for that World Guidance book as well.

Those were some really good pictures, YF19EX. Nice work.
Alright, I managed to get some scans done tonight. I kinda noticed that my scanner is generally a bit bright, so I hope you can bear with me. In general, Kirke is love, and Irisdina is the God-Empress Waifu. Soviet design style *still* remains in the villain territory.

The design archive is certainly more visual rather than technical setting, more like the Gundam Unicorn Animation Works etc. We might anticipate a mass market release later. I remember having a Digimon book in a similar format before, with full A4 sized pages dedicated to one each set of sketches, not paneled.
World Guidance should be more technical but may have a few rough design sketches. |

Better look at the history of past Satelight distributed items to see if there is a chance for a mass market release. Satelight is one of the companies that worked on the animation works of TE Anime according to the credits. It will also be sold at the Anime Contents Expo to be held on March 30th. EDIT: The Macross F book that was released in 2012's TAF and ACE March was announced as a regular release in April 2012. So there may be a chance for Total Eclipse as well. The pre-order is sold out already, but anime original Natalie in game style cg art form is just beautiful. By the way, I am confused as to who was the original artist for the Total Eclipse Tech Gian publication and the current one(perhaps the one who did the Kima ga Ita Kisetu and Chronicles 3). I was comparing the boxarts of my A3 Terminator and Berkut, and the Scarlet twins were clearly drawn by two different artists. Could someone also enlighten me on the the artists who did the original Muv-Luv and TDA(might the same as Alternative Chronicles) |

I will cross-post it to that thread for now, along with some commentary.
I'm planning to make some more scans this weekend/somewhere after that, assuming I can stay sober enough/my essays won't get in the way. I'll probably do some Vol. 5 scans while at it too, since I promised almost 6 months ago to do it. Also, it's weird to see the advert for anime in TSFiA merch section. Weird...but it feels good, in that itchy sort of the way. And sadly, I realized that Beatrix' poster might not be...proper. Because, nipples.

I think I need to stop going to Age's online store or anywhere for awhile. All these Wardog and Yuzuka merch I'll never get.
