I'm fine with it in general. I've met some guys iRL who look very, VERY girly in the same way that Natsume does. She could be simply a 'pretty boy'.

The issue is in some shots, /you can see her breasts/. That might just be an animation snafu, though.

Yes, it is possible to get another season if the BD/DVDs don't sell well, as long as the novel and manga get more sales from new readers

Actually, you misunderstood. As Tenma pointed out their control (along with Kyouko) with basic shikigami was perfect, the cooking was bad because their skills in that area actually sucked (which is even worse for everyone else naturally ).

Like most divinations the details can be somewhat vague. Whatever is going to occur may not even be necessarily be directly towards Miyo specifically but rather around her. The point is for her to prepare countermeasures, because something bad is going to happen otherwise.

Having marathoned the current 12 episodes (work and all that, eating up all my time) I find that I was surprisingly pleased with the show thus far. Cliches are numerous but I found I wanted to keep going with every ending episode which was well above my expectations back when I had stopped after only one episode.

same like me this series not in my watch list for winter . . until some friend give me a pic of natsume tied down and said she was a trap . . . i curios and DL that ep quit enjoyable when watch ep 11 and then watch rest and now i think this series more enjoyable than other anime series with similar genre this winter

I would say in a nutshell: it has an interesting world and some interesting characters. Even those some people here seem to hate like Natsume and Harutora I really like.

It is weighed down a bit by them playing up the cliches at times. But it seems really interesting, to me.

Those powerful shikigamis have will of their own. Natsume and Suzuha (and Harutora, for that matter) can just give orders and have them obeyed. When it comes to the quasi-shikigami, they have, as Harbinger would say, assume direct control.

I guess it's like the difference between climbing into a Google car and inputing a destination, and driving a normal car there.

And by the same token, people would have no reason to doubt whatever cover story they came up with for Natsume's children, as long as it's semi-plausible.

I think you're wrong about it not being a secret, though. At least, those "official documents" you think would be a problem for her kids wouldn't be open to the public. (Or hers would be, too, and they're just as problematic.)

She's an ojou-sama who's never had to cook for herself, and isn't expected to ever need to.

Does anyone else find it extremely weird that everyone seems to take Natsume for a boy? I mean she's obviously a girl, no matter how you look at it.

This has been bugging me the whole season...

Well the explanation goes is that everyone saw 'Natsume' topless, and thus everyone assumes that she is just an androgynous looking boy.

Aside for the fact that girly guys exist, people have already seen Natsume naked when she made a male shikigami clone to legitimatize her gender (and take baths ).

If anything they are less likely to doubt her now.

IIRC, Suzuka's only a year younger than everyone, and while Touji is fairly knowledgeable he's hardly the smartest.

I"m sorry...I just assumed she was the token loli in this series....and Touji might not be the smartest dude overall in the series, but he's a helluva lot smarter than Bakatora......

Of course since Natsume is an actual head of a powerful family, she's the most powerful. Until Bakatora gets his powers.......

He's not that much smarter than Harutora either though. Just has more experience in matters relating to magic. The anime left this out, but when Touji was recovering from the spiritual terrorism incident 2 years ago, he actually did some self studying in Onmyoudo since he had gained spirit sight as side effect. So he just had a head start. Harutora really isn't stupid either in fact he has shown to be a pretty perspective and rational person himself.
