As for the anime what do u guys think of the specials because personally i've found them to be mostly rubbish especially the last one

I've been wondering on what sounds more cooler/better for Rubia's 'title' <Calamity Queen> while seems interesting, just for me it doesn't have as much of an impact. So I though (even if it's overused) I'd like <Cataclysm Queen> better.
What is your opinion?

For me it's Calamity because I like that word. In the end it doesn't matter. Both can be suitable.

So I don't know if this should go into the other STnBD thread, but what do you guys think of Fianna's hair color in the other media? In the LN IIRC Fianna's hair color is Black but in the other media it's Violet, IIRC.
I think I'd prefer Black. you?

Doesnt make a big difference to me hair color wise.
I'll also say Calamity queen is better. As for Sorjha Khan i dont really care for her.

It seems to me that Rubia is already a Queen, yet the text contradicts that notion right? Didn't she already have to be in the DRI? Unless their Mother is the Queen. Am I reading it wrong or what?

The Elstein family has a long history of women that were Fire Queens. Rinslet could have been refering to a previous Queen since, unlike Claire, Rinslet reads a lot of history books relating to spirits and such(pointed out later in that chapter).

More over it's what she's done, she betrayed the Fire Lord, then what happened afterwards, was it a Calamity or a Cataclysm. That's what. So far people seem to think it's Calamity.

There's only one Queen at any given time. Since it's possible for Elementalists to lose their powers as they grow older (Greyworth being the most prominent exception until recently) it's. entirely possible, better yet, it's expected that they'd have to eventually retire. Since the passage that was quoted before specifically stated that the Elstein's have a history producing Fire Queens, the Fire Queen that Rinslet mentioned is most likely one of the more famous retired relatives of Claire.

Given that the fan translators of the series as well as the official ones that did the anime all refer to it as Calamity Queen, it's probably a given that it's Calamity Queen. Regardless of how you feel, if that's the proper term, especially according to the official anime translators that get paid for the job, then there's nothing you can do about it.
