I'm not sure if that was stated in the poll but sure HanaKana might not be my first choice based purely on physical appearance but her voice is really the most attractive to me, never gets old (and that's been put to the test considering she's everywhere)

Why isn't Jun Fukuyama there? He's one of the few VAs, along with Shimazaki that I could say is pretty cute....

And he's only one year older than Yuichi Nakamura .

I just noticed while watching Terra Formers that I'm becoming quite the fan of characters voiced by Kayano Ai. I've been very impressed with her range lately after watching her play Magbaredge in Aldnoah Zero and barely recognizing her.

That and Kanae from Tamayura is just too damned cute

I must not be the only one to have noticed that Mai Nakahara has seemed to have acquired an new character type this year, a more 'in command' and deeper voiced character is fast becoming her 'stock and trade'.

Sadly, she's still far less active than during her prime time. Seems like she has other priorities nowadays.

It's 11-11 now in Japan. Happy Birthday to Komatsu Mikako-shi and Omigawa Chiaki. Happy Pocky Day too.

On last Sunday, Mikako-shi held a birthday event, and she sang the cover for Scramble (Horie Yui). It made me riff through School Rumble, and I'm sad because there's no more Yakumo :P. Anyway, I can't wait to listen to it on BD ٩(๑>◡<๑)۶

Not a seiyuu, but I couldn't find a suitable place to post this:

Ghost In The Shell Singer Origa Passes Away At 44

Had no idea she had lung cancer. I loved her works in anime, especially her collaborations with Yoko Kanno.

Dang, I attended one of her performances at an anime convention just about a year and a half ago. Sad.

Late to the party, but congratulation to Yahagi Sayuri on her marriage. I'm still hoping for more Suzu and Juubei-chan.

Also, happy birthday to Tomato. New Haruka Mode compilation when?

Anybody like hearing Ami Koshimizu? My favorites from her is Ryuko Matoi from Kill la Kill and Shizuri Mugino from A Certain Scientific Railgun S.

She's the one who played Horo in Spice and Wolf isn't it? I thought the voice acting carried the show in there.

I thought the entire cast of Kill la Kill made for an extraordinarily good ensemble. Both Koshimizu and Suzaki Aya, the voice of Mako, were the youngsters in the cast at twenty-eight. Nearly everyone else was over forty.

I first heard Koshimizu voice the annoyingly stupid but often hilarious Tsukamoto Tenma in School Rumble. She must have just been out of high school or maybe not even. Quite a contrast in roles and voices from Ryuko-chan.
