*Mamoru timetravels*
Whaaaat? I cannot predict this anime. And he's going so far back in time too Random notes of the week: This week's end card is.... literally no one. https://twitter.com/16bit_anime/stat...19043562013171 They just got some gacha game company to draw one of the characters On the other side, CRAFTWORK's first game in 20 years is about to be released next week+ https://twitter.com/craftwork_pr Since their previous game bombed (for obvious reasons), they didn't have money to make anything, but a few years back, Sayonara wo Oshiete was re-released for modern systems (though I think there were censored parts) and now that it is a cult classic, it didn't do too bad and they got some money, so they decided to make a new game

Thanks for the bakstory
I was half expeting for her to say "Oh my god, it is full of layers!" Quote:
I was surprised they play a part of Madoka Magica's op song, makes me wonder if things are going to get darker, we still do not know what is the deal with Konoha's "apprentice", the op makes her seem like the antgnonist but it could be a red herring. p.s. nice drawing: https://twitter.com/nf_ban/status/1724828984775512267 |

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hokkaido_Takushoku_Bank One more quick note, but there are a couple or few infamous bank bankruptcies around this time period. Hashimoto's previous job likely is a reference to one of these

A wild Thexder reference... and all those Walkman!! Pretty surreal episode otherwise... from the flying saucer patches one would assume the Echoes are aliens of some kind, though Mamoru didn't seem too interested in that aspect.

I was not expecting aliens to be behind everything, but it works. The episode took a really trippy turn near the end. I actually don't get why Echo 1 and 2 understood imagination all of a sudden.

Daaaang, we getting some YU-NO vibes here. Good stuff, but not sure how this will all play in in the end.
Also sadly, not sure the current Akihabara can be considered "full of imagination" Even Tora no Ana is gone Quote:
Echo 1... I think because of the game covers? Not too sure on this one

Lol, I thought I was a sarcastic guy. This anime is like daggers!
"Alicesoft is the last anime in Japan still making eroge!" I doubt this anime was written 5 years ago or something, so they know what they are doing Anyways, the end card this week https://twitter.com/16bit_anime/stat...29188593025114 is drawn by Nadeara Bukichi He is famously known, even to this day and brought up when talking about old CGs, on his beautiful and erotic evening background CGs for Star Platinum, in 16bit coloring no less! This is why the end card is likely drawn in a similar manner BTW, no, this is not a Jojo reference. There is a game called Star Platinum. Go search and take a look yourself. The funny (or maybe not so funny) thing is that this isn't really an unbelievable future. I mean, the Akihabara thing, not the America thing. Even Tora no Ana has left Akihabara and their remaining store is in Ikebukuro.

I definitely did not have social commentary on AI art on my bingo card. We're somewhere between BTTF2 and the Matrix -- I'm guessing that feeding creatives into the bacta tank or whatever is what (un)stable diffusion runs on. People battery logic.
