My opinion
1) It should'nt ended with them getting healed. It should've ended with them dying and Miyuki calling for her bro. 2) I read the novels so I know their relationship, but dang that BGM and the statement of 'You are my commander' by George just shoot my BL Meter to 11..hahahahaha Edit : Whoops.

I'm going to assume that you meant to say that the episode "shouldn't have ended" with them getting healed but rather with them dying. In which case, I agree with you. My guess was that was where the episode was going to end, so I was really surprised when the scene kept on going.

Note that I don't think they actually died. One of them lost a leg, which isn't an instant kill (well, unless the leg is severed at the upper thigh, then it can be nearly one), and the other got shrapnel in their back.
They were severely injured, though, yeah.

It was hard to tell with it being censored but his leg was pretty badly mangled, bleeding to death was a very real possibility unless extreme measures were taken and soon. For Isori death was less likely but still very possible. Best case scenario the damage would of been permanent and probably crippling.

So Tatsuya became a hybrid of the Master Chief and Iron Man? I liked the full on battles that were happening with Isori, Jumonji, and the others leading the defense in their respective locations.
Since their enemy is the Great Asian Alliance, wouldn't this spark a war since this is an invasion by the Alliance on sovereign soil?

To answer the second question, Logically that's true, expect there's one fact that is still missing, about the GAA's attack, well, it might get explained in the next episode. And you can't spoil in this thread, so .. |

Tatsuya is practically a messiah/jesus now
He can fly, he can kill people by turn them into blue flame of light, he can resurect people, he can see through a wall At this point no matter how hard/depressing the situation is, i just cant feel any danger/urgency from this anime now I mean, no need tatsuya, even the "casual" can obliterate the enemy so easy |

I think this is the biggest weakness for me. I know people complained about Tatsuya being a "gary stu" but watching the anime, I kept thinking over and over that there's simply no sense that our protagonists were actually going to be set back. Tatsuya's presence mostly just speeds up the process.

^maybe next episode they will explain it, but its true that they focus on explaining spells that would only show up once, but the ones that have more relevance have practically nil info for the viewers, really, this animation......

Good god man...just can't help but note how the violence escalated these last couple episodes lol
Also how for at least the second half of the series everything feels rushed o_o Last edited by Mr. DJ; 2014-09-23 at 09:18. |

well, episode 25 was disappointing, they could remove OP & ED song, the ancient GAA magics (the weird animation about familiar -like existence), and George x Masaki bromance scene, instead of that actually they really need to explain cocytus better, and of course the regrowth scene, cause it wasn't as perfect as I expected, seems lack of tensions. It's just look like Miyuki's Onii-sama subarashii moment again and again no matter how many times I rewatched that scene.
