It is manga design, though...
There was 'Hidamari King' whatever quiz show event, and the winner had opportunity of having one wish to be fulfilled. It was apparently 'I want Hidamari Season 4!'. Knowing how much money money money Shaft had with this single series, I think there is high possibility that next season might come front.

That exact pic sparked my interest in Denpa Onna. Saw it in the G's Magazine website when I was searching for a better pic of Kanade's dakimakura. But yeah, like others already said, it is a promo from the manga currently serialized in that magazine. |

Also the director Shin Onuma was on Ef, Tsukuyomi Moonphase and Princess Tutu as far I remember. This series has Shinbo's as director. Maybe I'm getting tired of Shinbo not of Shaft. |

So yes, for all intents and purposes, SHAFT is Shinbou. Also, you should be glad that SHAFT uses Shinbou's techniques to save on budget. It's the reason you got 3 seasons of SZS and Hidamari. :P |

As I said before isn't hatred in my case is I'm geting bored/tired of abuse of his own style, I know Shin has the style from Shaft on BakaTest but Shinbo does it to the extreme .
Yeah, I know Shinbo is the current face of SHAFT but IMO the tricks works more for bizzare shows like SZS. Mmm... waiting sure is a pain but still I wish the best for the series and not this: Spoiler for This:

Why the hate against Shaft? They(Shinbou) have/has a very specific and unique art style and story telling that no other studio does. Some like it, others don't. The studio is very creative and clever in budget saving techniques. It's much enjoyable than a rushed, half-assed animation others do.
Yes, Bakemono had some issues, but hey! It was Shaft biggest project ever. (I think) The red and black panels actually had some reason, as they separated some scenes from another. So back to the topic: Shaft is good at weird comedy series and Denpa Onna is one of them. So I don't see any problem with Shinbou as director of it. Think back to SoreMachi where the manga was somewhat average, but the anime was mostly hilarious.

^ Just saw it on 2ch.
So good. (As long as Shaft doesn't get quality crisis due to fixing Soremachi+Madoka BD, Marihori 2nd season and Kaijo OVA. Hopefully, they know what they are facing.) All hail Asako-ne-san.
