I've read トラップ (GT trans. "Trap") chapter with GT and you need to have good imagination to make sense of most sentences.
The one thing that bugs me the most is GT's inability to translate names, "drop" most likely refers to Shizuku, but I have no idea who the other characters are when GT translates the literal kanji.
Anyway, question for those who understood more than me:
Spoiler:
From what I understood some rare gem was unearthed and some character tried to get it to impress Kaori. The gem was a trap that triggered the teleportation of that Behemoth monster? Was the character Hajime or one of the bullies the one that triggered it?
I finished, but whats with that latest chapter? It had to leave off there of all places? I picked this up at a bad time. No other MC has such cool toys though.

well, I roughly understand what it's talk about,
but....
yeah...
it's still pain in ass when I need to translate it into my mother language in my mind...
and for able to read every chapter, I need atleast 5-10 minutes rest for my eyes..
also for refreshing the cookie of my mind, so I could read it dat way for hours...
P.S. around chapters early 20's Hajime like and often patting Yui/Yue head ,yea..? while Yue/Yui like to hugging Hajime...
This web novel seems quite new. But how much of the content is there on Narou now compared to average printed LN?
I wish Google has interlinear translation function, or any apps will do. You know, the one where the translation word-by-word (or phrase) written below the original texts like in religious texts. We'll need a little knowledge about Japanese grammar to read it since the word order is different, but that's mostly all we'll ever need. It's way better than replacing the original texts completely. We don't need to endure the headache from trying to rearrange the translation. After all, if translation from GT can't be understood or add more to headache to the readers, it's probably best to just translate word-by-word and try to understand from context.

I think, it's should be around volume 3 now, I guess~?

Yeah, that's the best way to learn japanese IMO. When I was little (and still haven't learn about internet) I manually search word by word when I was playing tsukihime, using dictionary. It helped me a lot with remembering kanji. After that I just have to understand about grammar. Anyway here it is. Sorry, if I'm late
Spoiler:
Currently, the class and the Knights are standing in front of the entrance to the Orcus Great Dungeon. Hajime thought that the entrance is going to be a dim and gloomy cave, but it turns out to be close to an entrance to the museum, even there's reception counter. A beautiful girl in uniform greets them, and collected their status plates. It seems that the ID is recorded so that it would be easy when sorting for number of casualties. After that, moving on, they found lots of stands lining in front of the entrance, making the place looks like a festival. The class follows Meld like ducklings into the dungeon.
Inside the dungeon, it's very different from the outside, it's really dim and gloomy. There is only a passage with length and width of 5M illuminated by green light stones, making adventurers could see quite clearly even without torch or illumination magic. They continues together, and reach a spacious room, with height of 7, 8M to the ceiling. From the crevice and gaps of the wall, several furballs gushing out from them. Meld order Kouki party to move forward while the others get back. He will have them fight alternatively. He also tell them the monster is called Ratman. These ratmans appearance are just like the names, a grey rat with red eyes walking with two feet. They're nimble but not that much of a threat.
Kouki party consisted of six person divided into two line, front and rear. Front line consisted of: Kouki, Shizuku and Ryuutarou, while the rear line consisted of: Kaori and two other girls, girl wearing glasses, Nakamura Eri and energetic loli, Taniguchi Suzu. The front line intercept the enemies directly while the rear line initiated incantations of magic.
Kouki easily perceive the fast moving enemies and slashed them with white bastard sword. This sword is one of an artifact, called as "Holy Sword". This sword has light attribute and the light that burst from this sword weakens enemy while at the same time automatically strengthen the user physical ability. Hajime thought that even if the name is "Holy sword", it boast a "dirty" ability. Ryuutarou Job Class is "Fist Fighter", wearing gauntlets on both hands. These gauntlets are also artifacts that can't be broken and can send shockwaves. Ryuutarou with his large build, makes a splendid heavy tanker fighter with great punch and kicks. Shizuku, being the samurai girl she is, her Job Class is "Swordswoman". She is equipped with a weapon that is a mixture of katana and shamsir, and used drawing style to defeat enemy with one strike. Her refined movement draws admiration from the knights. While the other students are fascinated by the fights, suddenly chants of magic resounded in the air.
"""Whirling dark flame, scorch the enemies, return them to the earth as ashes, Spiral Flame"""
Flames appeared after those 3 chants are finished, swallowing ratmans and burns them, leaving only agonizing cries and ashes. Before they realized, the fight had ended with ratmans annihilated, leaving no chance for the other students. The enmy on 1st floor was too weak for Kouki's party. Meld told them not too drop their guard, but he didn't stop the tension from rising. He also tell Kouki's party to collect the magic stones, while commenting it's clearly an overkill. the rear line of Kouki's party blushed when hearing that.
After that, there's no problem for the class and they smoothly keep going down. Apparently 20th floor is the checkpoint to decide whether an adventurer is first-class or not. Currently the lowest floor reached is floor 65th but that was done 100 years ago. Even now, first-class adventurers managed to enter up to floor 40th+, but then again, after passing floor 20+ is enough to be called as first-class. The class are all cheat holder (except Hajime) so they can easily make a smooth progress even if thei experience are low. Still the scariest part of the dungeon is "Trap". Depending on the situation, the trap could be lethal. Low-leveled can use "Fair Scope" to deal with it. Fair Scope is a tools that can detect trap when it's flowed with magic power. Majority of traps utilized magic so 8 of 9 cases it can be detected by Fair Scope. However, because the range is narrow, it still depends on the user knowledge of the terrain. Consequently, another reason why the class could smoothly progress is because the leading by Meld and his knights. From Meld himself, he always warn the class not to move recklessly if there is trap around. After continuing for a while, he warn the class that ahead, they will face group of monsters consisted of different species. He further add to not let their guard down. Finally he tell them that today's objective is reaching floor 20th to finish the training. Meld voice is low but it resounded clearly.
As of now, Hajime didn't do anything, Once though, he create a pitfall by using synergy on the ground, to trap a dog monster (weakened by knights) and skewer it with his sword, but just that. He is not accepted by any party, so basically he just standby on behind, protected by the knights. Truly pitiful for him. Nevertheless, frequently using Synergy on actual combat can increase his magic power so there's meaning to it. He participated in actual combat to increase his level by 2 and also increase his magic power. In his mind, he sighed and called himself as "Parasite" player. Again, a monster weakened by the knights fly toward Hajime. Sighing, he used Synergy on the ground, trapped the monster and skewer it again. Since he can increase increase his proficiency of synergy, he is content with things like this. Hajime drink magic power potion and wipe his sweat, not realizing that the knights are impressed by him. Truth to be told, they didn't expect anything from Hajime. It just, they spur the monster toward Hajime to see him fight. As for them they thought Hajime would fight using sword he is not familiar with, however by utilizing Synergy, he create a pitfall to seal it's movement, and kill it with the sword, a tactic that is never seen by the knights. They thought that Synergist = artisan. Therefore, There is no way Synergist could use Synergy in actual combat. As for Hajime, at first he thought of using synergy on his sword (since he doesn't have anything he can use), it then came to him that if he can synergize minerals, he could also synergize ground. But since everyone around him are so strong, compared to him who can defeat only one with his best effort, he is convinced that he might really be incompetent. By the way, the tactic he used just now is his first experiment, he thought of it just in case he need to avoid being looked stupid on the public later.
When they enter a break, his eyes met with Kaori. Kaor smiled at him, Hajime however, reminded of last night, embarassedly avert his eyes. This somehow makes Kaori pout. Shizuku who glanced at that, smile wryly and talk to her with small voice.
"Kaori, what, locking eyes with Nagumo-kun? having a love comedy inside a dungeon, aren't you too composed?
Shizuku teasing spontaneously redden Kaori face. She rebute Shizuku words angrily.
"Geez, Shizuku-chan! Don't say weird things! I'm just, wondering if Nagumo-kun is alright, just that!"
Shizuku closed her mouth, but she can't hide the laugh in her eyes, Kaori is peeved by that.
When Hajime glance at them, he suddenly feel a stare. A strong stare filled with sticky negative emotions, an unpleasant one. Up until know he already received similar stares like that, but just now, it's on a whole different level. Actually this is not the first time for Hajime, he actually already felt it from the morning several times. Whenever he looked around to search the source, the stare just vanished. Hajime started to get annoyed by that. Sighing deeply, he is reminded by bad feeling Kaori told him about last night.
The party currently is exploring the 20th floor. Each floor has approximately several kilometers spreading on every direction. It tooks several people to map one unknown floor, and took several months to finish. At the present, the map have been completed up to floor 47th. There shouldn't been any worry of tipping trap. The deepest room of floor 20th is like a limestone cavern, with comples stalagmite on the walls, making the class have to move in line. It seems the stairs to the floor 21st is just beyond this room. Convenient magic from ancient ages like teleportation are unavailable on present day, so they have to return by normal means. And then, Kouki's party who are ahead and Meld stopped, they looked around cautiously. The other students started to enter battle stance, looks lik there are monsters nearby. Meld warn them that it's camouflaging and too look around carefully.
Just after that warning, all of a sudden, the wall changed and stands, the body color is dark indigo, the same as the wall. Meld tell them it's called Rock Mount. He warn the others of its strong arms. Kouki's party face the Rock Mount. Ryuutarou exchanges fist with Rock Mount. Kouki and Shizuku tried to surround it, but the terrains hinder them from doing so. Perceiving that it can't by pass the meat wall, Rock Mount bend backward, inhale deeply and let out a strong roar. The roar didn't deal any damage but Kouki, Shizuku, and Ryuutarou who are the front line received that directly and are paralyzed. Just now is Rock Mount special magic called "Overpower Roar", a roar filled with magic power that can paralyze enemy. Throught that chance, Rock Mount make a side step, took a rock from the wall and throw it toward the rear line, closing in on them. The rear line raised their staffs, preparing to cast their magic, hoever before it is casted, they reflexively stiffen from strange scene. How do I say it, the rock that is thrown, is also a Rock Mount. the Rock Mount make a splendid rotation in the air and spread both arms. Hajime could swear he can hear imaginary voice "Ka~o~ri~cha~n", moreover the Rock Mount eyes are strangely bloodshot and it's breathing rough. The three girls reflexively shrieked which interrupted the magic execution.
"Hey hey, what are you doing in the middle of fight!"
Hurriedly, Meld moves forward and cut down the Rock Mount that is in the middle of diving. The three girls apologized to him although they are still disgusted by just now. Their face still pale. There is one man who snapped upon seeing that, the lump of justice known as a Hero called Amanogawa Kouki.
"Bastard......How dare you to them......Unforgivable!"
Looks like he mistake the expression of disgust with fear of death, and is angry on wrong point. As if responding Kouki, the Holy Sword let out a bright light.
"Myriad of flapping wings, fly to the heaven, Soaring Flash!"
"A, wait you idiot!"
Ignoring Meld words, Kouki raised the sword above his head, and brought it down. At that moment, the light turns into a slash and move toward Rock Mount, drawing an arc. The slash cut the Rock Mount in two without any resistance, but the arc didn't stop until it destroyed the wall behind. Kouki exhale and then turn around, flashing a handsome smile toward the Kaori, Eri and Suzu. Kouki then receive a knuckle on his head. Meld scolded him, saying that the technique just now is not something to be used in place like this and would make the cave collapsed. Kouki apologized to Meld. Kaori, Eri, and Suzu console him. At that moment, Kaori focused her attention toward the crumbling wall. She saw something sparkling. At that words, everyone looked toward the place Kaori pointed at, over there, is a crystal glowing with pale light, sticking out from the wall. The girls stared at the beautiful crystal in fascination.
Meld told them it's name is Grantz Crystal, and looking at the size which is relatively big, it's very rare. He also explains that Grantz crystal is an ore of jewel. It doesn't have any special attribute, however it's beatiful light is very popular among noble ladies (especially young woman) as accesories. It can be manufactured as earrings, necklace or rings. It is among top 3 jewels to be used on the occasion of marriage proposal.
"beautiful......"
Said Kaori while blushing a bit. And then, She glanced a bit toward Hajime. Only Shizuku and one other person noticed that glance...but...
"Then I'll take it!"
Suddenly Daisuke move forward, climbing through the crumbling walls. Meld warns him not to recklessly touch it, as it's not safe yet. However, Daisuke ignored that and keep moving toward the crystal, Meld chased to stopped him, just at that moment, one of the knight who used Fair Scope, his expression turned pale.
"Captain! It's a trap!"
"!?"
But, Meld, and the knight's warning, are too late. The moment Daisuke touched the crystal, Magic circle appeared around the crystal, and it's start to glow bright. The grantz crystal is a trap, the usual "poison inside sweet honey". Meld ordered retreat toward the exit. The students followed the order and started to run toward the door, but they are too late. The magic circle spread all over the room in a blink of an eye, lights filled in. Hajime is reminded to the day when they are summoned here. The class then feels a floating sensation, and then the air changing. Finally, they are thrown to the floor. While groaning, Hajime look around. The majority of the students are just like him, falling on their backside. Meld, Knights, Kouki, Shizuku, Ryuutarou, and several vanguard students quickly stand up and look around cautiously. It looks like they are transported to a different place. It's because ancient magic like this, that nakes ancient magic very absurd.
The place they are standing right now is atop a stone bridge, with length of 100M, and no handrail while the ceilings are 20M above them. They are standing right in the middle of the bridge. On each side of the bridge, are passage and beyond it are stairs. Meld expression is stern, he then ordered the others to quickly move toward the stairs. However, the dungeon traps are not kind, just when they are moving, magic circles appeared on both sides of bridge, Monsters appeared from it, and among the monsters are one massive monster. At that moment, with a surprised expression, Meld whisper rang clearly...
"It can't be...its...Behemoth..."
I wonder if my summaries will discourage people from translating?
Ah, by the way, I wonder if it's should be "Orux" or "Orcus" for the dungeon name?
I was just rereading the part where Hajime brainwashes the peaceful rabbit people with his drill sergeant routine. Violence can solve 90% of your problems!

Probably Orcus, the latin god of the underworld.

Remember, Violence is not the answer. Violence is the question, and the answer is YES!
If it does not work, you are simply not using enough.

Hmm, then I'll change it into that~ thanks! chapter 7 on the way.
I did like how the fact that he used his ability tactically.
Ironically, if you have played much pen and paper RPG's, like D&D 3.5, you know that pure damage is the wimpiest thing you can do. The best things tend to be area control, disabling monsters, funneling them into more advantagous positions, terrain modification.
Basically, if he wasn't so down on himself, he could raise walls in combat, creating field works for the casters as defense., split large groups of monsters into smaller, easier to handle groups. Change the terrain so that it can be harder or easier to cross, ect. He obviously did not watch or read enough FMA to understand how useful it could be.
The others would blast or chop up individual or small groups of monsters, he could have controlled the battlefield. Of course from the sounds of it, the knights and others did not think of such things, but they immediately grasped with there combat experience how creating add-hoc traps in battle would be very useful.

not just pen and paper Rpg, if you played real time action RPG before, it's the same, people will get a guys that deal low damage but capable of survive on his own rather than that guy who does great damage for 5 second he is alive. That the reason why term like CC and PD exist nowadays.
