Maya seemed totally out of character this episode, especially in the flashback.

Another thing: Her village doesn't look like it has a middle school, so the children there are pretty much required to leave the village.

This episode (15) is probably one of the best episodes done in the anime. The balance? The flow? of the episode was done really well, it was easy to watch, but also the suspense worked out.
Of course, from here, Gotou is going to half-die, Chihiro full-dead, and Namida/Chinami? gets arrested

Just something that needs to be cleared up imho, because the anime did a bad job at it:

The yellow haired judge and the white haired judge are not the same person. (i.E he isn't the younger form of the judge)

I think they will explicitly say it in two episodes.

You have seen that very same judge on episode 4 when the two trials were held at the same time, that alone makes it obvious they are not the same person.

I came back to watch Dahlia/ Chinami in her glory. I think the anime doesn't do her cases so bad. At least nothing can be as bad as most of ss1 was.

Looking forward to full 8 episodes of the last case.

Wonder if we'll ever get anime adaptation of Apollo Justice after this.

I on the other hand hope they jump right to Dual Destinies and Spirit of Justice. Really no need for the magic hat replacement..

Oh and of course now they show the tunnel lock without having ever shown the psyche locks before,meaning only those of us who played the game will actually understand it's significance on our own. *facepalm*

This is the first instance of the reason why I keep on nagging about the missing psche-locks the entire time, and it's only going to get worse. Seriously they could have at least given him the Magatama and make it blink instead of showing the lock sequence. Now they actually managed to get themselves into this mess and what for? Meaningless scenes from Phoenix childhood.

Also here is to Edgeworth finding out how Phoenix feels.

Especially considering the game-like portions that cannot be translated into an anime, I think they took the important parts of the story and made it into an anime fluently. Also, the ED. Man, the feels... And man, Chinami is like... the evil behind everything this season. One of the few times the story flat out tells the audience the criminal was executed.
