Since my country was destroyed all the way back in 70s (fuck you Russia, at least we took you with us, you Commie-land filth), I assume I'd be born in North America, since my parents plan was to run away to the West had Communism not failed.
I imagine I'd then end up in one of those delicious intelligence agencies, like the CIA, with awesome codename like "TIM", "Bookman" or "Longhair". I'd be responsible for infiltration of Eastern-European communities, and generally trolling whatever is left of Russia. Then, I'd manipulate myself into more power using poor Canadian saps, and make myself the Director (if Austrian can be a senator, I bloody well can be CIAs top dog). And many lulz will be have from that day forth. Spoiler for Master Plan:

As expectd from the author of Comet. I'm guessing you're from Poland?
As for me, I figure I'd end up as cannon fodder somewhere, somehow... Unless I managed to get to the US. Since I'm Malaysian, I'd probably have been RMAF tiger II BETA fodder.

@Timsel It's not that hard. Spoiler for Trolls and Trollations:
@TheEroKing My God....this works! Clarkson - Royal Marines Hammond - Special Armored Service May - Royal Armored Forces The "reasonable TSF" would be the Gekishit, while the crew would nitpick on tanks! And Stig...Stig will always be Stig. @Grevierr Isn't her family simply...Sendou? May or may not be one of the regents, but I'd doubt that.

Just a hunch, given what you said about moving west, and that Polish expat you had in the Space Force. Plus, I've read commentary that Solidarity's success in Poland was the beginning of the end for the Soviets OTL.

Segments: May visits the Empire Test Pilots School and spends the afternoon geeking out with the test pilot girls; Hammond takes the Tornado against a Zerberus Typhoon, before giving the Typhoon a try; and Clarkson makes a visit to Japan and sprains his back while putting a Type-00F Takemikazuchi (red command colors variant) through its paces at the Fuji proving grounds.

"Instead, when I arrived, they gave me this." (Camera pan to Type-00C) "So it's an export model, the Mitsuhishi Lancer to the Lancer Evolution. That just meant I'd have an easier time driving. How hard could it be?" (Hammond voiceover, resigned): "He really had to say that, didn't he." *cut to SAR crews pulling Clarkson out of the -00C's cockpit* Quote:
Clarkson: "Funny you should mention that, because we actually had someone lined up. She's not The Stig... but she is The Stig's Imperial Royal Guard Cousin!" *Camera pan of an eishi in a white reinforced suit... which is actually a training suit, wearing a helmet that covers her head. She turns to enter the cockpit. If not for her long light blue hair, her ass - a very nice one, btw - would be on display for everyone to see.* IRG Stif puts the Type-00C through its paces and the next 10 minutes are full of exclamations and commentary of the "Holy SHIT!" kind from the boys. May is most impressed with how she's using finesse to compensate for the lack of power, which shocks Clarkson - he wrenched his back in a relatively underpowered TSF!
