I really want Tsukamoto to grow a pair. I don't want him to become the new Messi, but please, I hope he does more than just running in the next episodes. |

Episode 8
Going to score after goal? Oh man...Tsukamoto's new friend really has that goal mindset (no pun intended). Well, at least Tsukamoto got the support of his mom. (lol, I find her job with the puppets to be rather amusing) Still, I like his usual enthusiasm this episode. Decent buildup I guess. I look forward to the big match.

Episode 9
Lovely match between Seiseki and Saku. I like how both sides got their moments with Kazama and Mizuki from Seiseki while Saku's Narukami showed some of his skills. I don't think Narukami put all his efforts yet though for the match. For Mizuki, he shows his aggressive side as usual but seems to be even more focused on this particular match. The part about the message was also interesting to say the least. Pretty exciting episode so far, this match is living up to the hype!

slowest paced game i've ever seen. haha. with three guys on Mizuki, Kazama and Ooshiba should have more than enough space to score, should the ball get to them.
Narukami seems like an interesting player. i like the insurmountable opponent types, because it forces the protagonist to come up with something to beat them.

Mizuki is just too hilarious but a beast when playing too, tsukamoto got the message and now is more determinated for the future. I was thinking that kazama was going to be out for the preview of this chapter last week, I was wrong.
When tsukamoto is in the game in the next chapter is going to be more interesting. |

Now that's what I call an intense match.
Seiseki vs Sakuragi really heated up especially in the second half with everyone aiming for the ball. That fall at the end though...humans have their limits. Ooshiba extended that and I guess he didn't realize it. Still, I admire his fighting spirit.

Sometimes I wonder if spokon mangakas watched the actual sport more than once or twice... because having three or four people guarding one player is just... At least this seems more like football than KnB is basket...
I just hope Tsukushi actually plays something. I don't want him to become the best player, but at least be able to shoot without stumbling, or scoring a goal by pure will or something... By the way, I wonder why is always tsukushi the first (and many times only) substitute... isn't he suppossed to be the least skilled of them? |

You will occasionally see guys like Messi double or triple man-marked. Not commonly by any means but not totally unheard of.
I think Tsukichi is often the first sub because of workrate, plain and simple. Even if his skills are minimal he's always on the move and he forces the other team to at least be aware of him. If you've ever watched Leicester City, I think it's similar to the role Okazaki Shinji plays for them (though obviously Okazaki is highly skilled).

Episode 11...
I got a weird feeling about that cliffhanger, like he's going to miss.. Tsukamoto is always so fun to watch for some reason though, like every time he gets on the field, the team's fighting spirit grows.
