Last time I checked, it was A-1 Pictures that was churning out at least two series a season, not Seven Arcs. It may possibly a manpower and time schedule issue really.

Mushibugyou, Nanoha Movie A's. And they are making Trinity Seven this Fall, Dog Days 3 in Winter and Nanoha: Reflection (if it's still legit and they won't give it to another studio)

Nanoha is still a high potential license yet 7 Arcs hasn't done anything with it besides the compilation films recently and this is a manga adaptation that if I'm not mistaken King Records owns the rights too. More than likely one of the producers from Aniplex approached King Records and said they wanted to do a new an adaptation of it and they said okay as long as they get a say in it too and they decided to do it at A-1 where they're slowly but surely transferring more than a few of their licenses from smaller studios like AIC and the like from. About the question people had regarding the opening, King Records owns the rights to Nana Mizuki and Yukari Tamura's music so depending on how the contracts are organized they might still be doing the theme songs. If it's Aniplex that has that say then expect a Sony Music Entertainment artists instead. Here are some of the options in that case. For the record SME tends to skew more towards J-Rock in terms of genre. |

Movies aside (which have higher budgets and generally a longer production time) Nanoha's animation has always been sup-par. For an action-heavy series such as Vivid, I'm happy that the baton has passed from Seven Arcs to A1. |

As I said before the main problem is not the change of studio but the fact that Tsuzuki himself only credited as Original creator while scripts are given to quite unexperienced scriptwriter.

We are talking about A-1 here. Than they were in charge a bunch of popular mangas were butched by scriptwriters so I'm really concer5d because of autrhors uninvolment in this season.

Well let me just take a look at this list of their works based on manga then.
Kannagi was good, Black Butler was good, Fairy Tail is good, Working is good, and Blue Exorcist was good. Rest I can't comment on because I haven't seen them. So yeah, I fail to see a problem. Not like Vivid has much of a plot to mess up anyways.

ViVid has just enough plot. Maybe less in Tournament arc but quite more in later chapters. And Ao no Exorcist had about 1/3 anime-original eps which all the manga readers consider worser than equal manga arcs.

So that's...one. Geez, from the way you previously describe it, it's as if they butchered plenty.
Not that I actually expect they will do it right (current opinion is on "maybe"), but one fluke isn't a sign of eternal failure.

I just named the one from the least above. Third of the Black Butler and all of the S2 were anime-original too but I don't knowe howe they are compared to the manga. And I could easily name bunch of the adaptations they screwed but I doubt anyone else here cares.

Anime original content =/= butchering. Just because an adaptation isn't 100% the same as the original doesn't mean it's the worst thing ever. I, for one, welcome any new adventures I can only experience in the anime. If I wanted something 100% the same as the manga I'd just read the bloody manga.

On another note, yesterday was the 10th anniversary for the series, wasn't it?
