For a studio as small and understaffed as Shaft, they've got too many projects to work with. Either way, I won't light up any torches to show my displeasure as long as the finishing work exceeds the quality of episode 10.

I'd imagine that since there's no more broadcast deadlines to be met, the Bakemonogatari episodes have fallen in priority somewhat over at Shaft. The closest thing they would have to a deadline now would be the DVD release date.
But I'd still rather the episodes sooner better than later to be honest lol =P

It's even longer for me. Currently I'm resting comfortably at the end of the first arc and waiting for all the hype to die down before I resume which means probably about the start of next year. Five days (okay well over a month when added to the rest) strikes me as a relatively brief delay though considering some other delays I've gotten to witness. Twilight Princess comes to mind.....
