I'd understand if it was a normal machine but that clearly wasn't. Last edited by Tenchi Hou Take; 2012-04-03 at 13:55. |

They've shown Chihaya as a lad with some real brains and I think he would know about the commando unit. Planting other thems is what I'd go with. But never know could very well be a real death. There are 2 types of deaths, 1st the one thats foreshadowed(generally rather obviously) and then 2nd the one thats very sudden. Either type of death can work depending on how they are handled and how sudden deaths are handled all depends on the aftermath. Where as a foreshadowing death is the build up. Love Takao, she's such a lovely lass

Yeah there's no way all those deaths were real after they "killed" everyone except for Shizuka. I thought it was extremely amusing though that the military acted like they knew everything about the base and even secret passages that the crew didn't. That seems like really underestimating your opponents to me, since you know they've had control of the base for over a year.
I wouldn't be surprised if there wasn't new "secret" passages Gunzou had set up.

There had to one of the crew that was a hidden military nut and Shizuka was indeed one of the most likely to fill that role.
I just wonder why I never gave it much before. Wonder what the real plan here is cause I got no idea about what might even happen from here.

Thanks to a recommendation by LoweGear, I did a marathon read of the entire series so far and I have to say that as a WWII naval enthusiast, I LOVE this series! WWII battleships, cute girls, world spiraling into chaos. This series has it all.
I really like the blends of early 20th century technology and alien technology. The action between Hyuuga, Kirishima, and 1-401 was spectacular. Also, as a model builder, this really gives me some ideas of what to do with the 1/700 scale models of the Kongo, the Hyuga, and the Ise that I have in my collection. I'm wondering, if the I-401 does make the trip across the Pacific, if we'll get to see some U.S. ships. Endless "Thanks LoweGear" Soul
