Pretty basic really. Each sword skill has an activation motion that the player needs to do that basically tells the system "hey i'm doing super sword attack #5" system then takes over control and does the attack for the player. It's what Kirito was showing Klein in the first episode, to make sure he uses the proper motion or else the attack won't work and you'll just be swinging blindly, and that does very badly.

If you want to follow chronical order, there is a date follow every sidestory title, (sometime Kirito go to lower floor later on to do his things). If you really want to follow chonical order I would advise you read "First Day" and "Aria on starless night" first before going with volumn 2.

well, I already read until Volume 5 Chapter 1 Part 2, but, as SAO Episode 2 came out and it covert ''Aria on the starless night'', I just wanted to read it for more info and maybe reading the others to, as the Anime is going in the chronical order

So in MMOs it's common to re-fight, or "farm" a boss for some purpose, usually loot, so let's say a group of players want to re-fight the boss of floor 1 from ep 2, for loot, would this possible?, and if yes is there a limit to how many times players could do this?
Unrelated Question are "rare loot" items, like the cloak Kirito got, do they have special stats not normally found on items, or do they simply offer more stats than other items might offer? Also are such items only available from bosses, or are there chances to find items of that quality at much lower rates on other enemies?
