I'm greatly impressed by the bravery people are exhibiting by going into detail with some of their fetishes! I'm with Vexx on "the internet remembers forever" and "you're not as anonymous as you think you are" so I won't detail my own. But here's one:
Asians. (I married one, so anyone who tracks me down likely wouldn't be surprised by it. Nope, didn't marry her purely because of that attribute.)

A weird "fetish" I have developed a liking for is NTR (netorare). Not because it arouses me, but for some reason I get satisfaction of fail male leads getting their female romantic partners taken away by another person. For whatever reason, I find it hilarious. Guess I'm just a mean bastard
It does however, have to be "fail" male leads e.g. the whiny, beta, emo shonen kiddy type or the brainless indecisive harem lead type Last edited by Pocari_Sweat; 2011-12-05 at 07:13. |

I lol'd.
You, sir, inspired me to contribute honestly as well. Of course because this isn't an anonymous forum I won't be sharing my most embarrassing, but some might prove interesting anyway. Spoiler:
And I'm done. I think only the first one will be of interest to anyone.

What about braided hair on one side? That's kind of the real-life compensation for me. XD I have a friend who wears a flower on her head. But for some reason that seems mehhhhhhhhhhhhh. |

If you're from a superior part of Australia. Again, it's just a fetish, haven't been with anyone under 18, at least since I myself was over 18. Don't know if it's different in America, but I noticed you're australian too, soo.. Yeah.

Can say "Good for you!!", but then it will sounds like i'm envy with those having 16-17 years old girlfriends PS: don't want to shatter your dream, but nowadays it's hard to find a mature/ thoughtful high school girls(16-17) from our ages' POV, with them getting in their teens and all have rebelling mindset. My younger sister is probably the nicest kid on the block, and i couldn't stand her sometime. Not really related to fetish through

.... Ah screw it.
Kuudere. Specifically because I find something incredibly appealing with the notion that you have to earn it. It's like having to peel away at a fruit with a thick skin for a long time until you reach the tasty sweet inner core. You get minute and often subtle glimpses of the person inside the facade-like exterior to see a very different person within, like a mystery that needs to be solved if you ever want to know the truth. It's the curiosity that you know there's something there, something different, probably something unique, but you can't quite see it or grasp it yet until you place your effort into it. Eventually you think that if you try hard enough you'll find a greater attraction to what it is you find especially if it turns out to be what you were looking for all along and then some. Aaaand I've spoken enough in obtuse and needlessly complicated metaphors. Whatever. Kuuderes. They fascinate me to no end. There, I said it, leave me alone.

I can't help but wonder if it's like that across the board (many of the "fetishes" I have are things I haven't experienced in real life). For example, girls kissing in porn? Okay. Girls kissing in real life? Unnatural and weird. Loli in anime and whatnot? Adorable, cute, innocent, whatever. Ten year olds in real life? Little kids I feel absolutely no attraction to. Quiet girls in fiction? Mysterious and appealing. Quiet girls in real life? Introverts who ultimately aren't a lot of fun to be around. So why is there such a disconnect? Is it that the things we fetishize literally become objects of our affection, and lose their human aspect? Is it our inability to relate to them that allows the attraction? Does anyone else have a similar distinction between things they like in their minds and things they like in real life?

Regarding girls kissing in public:
Frankly, I find all public kissing(not pecks on the cheeks now, but makeout sessions) to a little bit unpleasant. Sometimes they look like they're just devouring each other's faces... I think there are some things better done in private. |

You all are heroes. I'm almost convinced to rep the first ten posts with fetishes mentioned in reverent respect.
That said, don't ask me. I am pure, innocent, the sweetest gentlest creature of chaste saintliness this side of the Milky Way; I love people for personality, character, integrity, and inner beauty of the soul, and that's as far as the public needs to know. |
