I only just realized the significance of this particular announcement when I learned that Bryan Cranston did in fact do voice work for the original Mighty Morphin Power Rangers... so he's more or less just coming back to a franchise he's been in before.

lets hope the Megazord designs don't go the Michael Bay Transformers route, i mean what is wrong with clean blocky & bulky robots? heck it would help Bandai by not making their DX toys over complicated which might resulted in a higher price tag.

So apparently there has been this theory going around that Rita may have been the original green ranger in this movies continuity. And recently the power coins have been revealed.

I heard this and it is an interesting theory. Perhaps we'll see a more traditional look to her when she create the Tommy of this universe.

Actually looking good from what little I'm seeing: they're not a mass of random junk like the Bayformers, while still sticking to the organic theme they're establishing for the movie.

Now to wait for an actual trailer...

funny enough the Triceratops Zord forms one of the legs in combined mode, thus its head almost looking like a giant Nike shoe because it forms the foot seems fitting really, a Megazord wearing Nike shoes?
