The Hand quality reminded me of Konosubas finger waggling scene for some reason.

I'm surprised at their lack of care for spoilers in the OP/ED though. Sure the OVAs were years ago, but with the new fans drawn in by IBO, they're giving away alot.

Still hoping for extended Torrington Battle scenes. More Byarlant Custom is good.

I love the Byarlant, have so ever since ZZ, but in less than 3 minutes of screen time it single-handedly wiped the entire Zeon remnant marine MS force and a few more in the mainland........

Some other guys should have some of the spotlight

Kou isn't the pilot. A former Titan named Robin Diez is the pilot (confirmed by two Unicorn sidestory mangas).

Kou isn't nearly that skilled anyway. I don't know why you'd want him piloting, especially after the disaster that was his last major involvement in war.

True enough, I've been biased towards the Byarlant and the Stark Jegan.

So to rectify it should have 10 minutes of kicking Sleeves ass.

wouldn't say no to Waterproof Gundam action though.

In all seriousness though, what are the chances of seeing some Unicorn Sidestory MS and scenes showing up in the series? If only to enhance the connections between them? They're basically showing the divved form of the OVA with a few additions and alterations.

When the episode first came out they said it was a former Titans pilot that piloted the Bylant, well that somehow turned into Kou being the pilot because the internet said so lol

Plus, as Rising Dragon said Kou isn't that good of a pilot. Heck there's even the issue if EF would allow him to pilot anymore, he did steal protoype equipment and got it wrecked.

That was wiped from his files and the people responsible for that mess are all dead, so that wouldn't prevent him from being allowed to pilot again. That said, he was a rookie and he only beat Gato that first time because the GP02 was damaged and he got insanely lucky. There's no evidence to support he'd have been involved in the future conflicts and, indeed, no evidence to support that he'd stay in a corrupt military... especially with that nutjob Nina around.

Watched the first episode and I gotta say that kids won't even understand what's going on upon watching Gundam Unicorn!

Spoilers aside, I wish Sunrise would add new scenes instead of just cutting a 7-part OVA series into a TV format.
