MJ is corrupted by money...thats one of the best quote I've heard today. He was broken before he even had money, read up on his life and you'll see why he spent the money the way he did.

IMO, he was the Greatest Entertainer of my period. King of Pop was actually an understatement.
He was on a totally different level than everyone else... the 80s was "There's Michael, and then there was everyone else". Yeah, I know, that's a statement by Magic for Michael Jordan, but I think it summarises Michael Jackson's place in 80s as well. He was the biggest idol of my youth, and unparalleled in dance and pop music. A one in a hundred years genius. Rest in peace, Michael, it was a grave loss to the world.

Okay... seeing the helicopter that's aparently carrying his body for an auptosy before being officially released... Slowly sinking in that he ain't gonna pull an "elvis" and be "alive' I kinda feel sick tbh, as for why I'm so shaken, I'll have to come home from work before I can write my 'ode' to him. And I assume that his funeral will be as huge as Princess Diana (the months of flowers) man.... just over 2 weeks before his first concert at London, he didn't make it to my hometown *turns off Asuki for today...*

This is shocking.
I just learned about it here. Apart from the bizarre events surrounding his life, he is a music legend. May he rest in peace. Michael Jackson - Master of Moves.

Just wanted to get something off my chest.
being glad that Michael is dead is one thing (and a very bad thing at that), but what I'm actually seeing is that not everyone actually cares or is all that affected by Michael Jackson's death. Considering the news in everyone is on the internet, anyone who even shows a glimpse of not caring gets dog piled on like no tomorrow. When I found out he died, I was shocked for about a minute, but then the value wore off. He might have contributed many great things, but in the end he's just another person. Life will move on, so let's not be hateful in both senses. This is more or less how people felt back then when Elvis died. Once again, R.I.P Michael Jackson.

A teenager like yourself and someone like me that grew up in the 80s take this news completely differently.

Well looks like Eminem will probably make another rap about him......I believe his rap is just a joke not to be taken seriously. His music is not bad IMO. He could be credited for "inventing" flashy MTV and pop and atrocious dance moves. But the things most people will miss are his moonwalk and 45 degrees lean on his shoes (as shown in Smooth Criminal). Well, RIP M.J.

I dedicate the song Man in the Mirror to Michael, I hope he truly finds himself in God's embrace right now.
And yeah it's very sad that people are going to fling jokes at him now that he's gone. He was just a person like us. :'< "Ohh ohhh Gotta make a change, for once in my life" RIP |
