And, just in case, what name would you choose? Generically though I agree that changing name too often ain't good, you already changed from BJR to Miko Miko (and at first I kept confounding you with mikoo ), another change would be even more misleading ^^

Let's see, the first one (is she Yui?) gives a good feeling of the theme "lost" hence nice choice. It might seem a bit empty on the sides (right one in particular) since the elements are barely noticeable.

The Chobits one is very sweet, perhaps a lightest shade of pink on Chii's face would make it better visible. Nice combination of colours though, with good font.

The "Best One" is really the best one, but then again, I love sunsets . What's written under the main text ("I'm burning up") ? It looks like there's other text, but it's small. ^^

Nice signatures overall. By the way, just curious, don't you like using borders?

Cropped it, the background was with it already. The text I worked pretty hard on, I wanted to make it look perfect.

In general, I think you can work on the text on almost all of them. Your current (Psycho) is one of the better examples, as it fits with the bg and color of the extraction (somewhat).

The problem with the rest is that the outer glow normally doesn't work well with anything, on its default setting, and that the contrast seems to be much higher than the sig itself. There is also problems concerning placement and quality (they are a bit pixlie).

As an example, this:

Doesn't do well at all, because the text - which is red - is placed upon a grey-ish/dark background. It makes it stand out a lot and doesn't fit at all. Making it white or a similar color as the bg woul be better, but it's still hard to pull off due to the texture of the bg.

This is a classic, and I still do it myself:


While the placement, and color, works, the contrast is still too big and sharp compared to the rest. It needs to be "in harmony" with the rest. Now, the entirety of the sig can use a lot of work (background mostly since it doesn't blend well) but it's an example.

But basically, blending the text in slightly, not making it too sharp with too high contrast is a good goal to aim for (unless it's supposed to be very pixlie, such as a "digital" theme sig). Make the color fit with the rest - it can still be different, but it usually works better if it has a common factor - and think of its placement. In some sigs it's impossible (well, for me anyway), to fit text at all.
