Astraea always used Exia's Drive presumably before the 3rd Generation was made while after they were made the 2nd Gens sort of shared and switched 0 Gundam's GN Drive when needed.

I think we sort of did. Most people has scourge through the manual already and mentioned things that are of significance.

The only thing I recall that was significant from the 00Q kit was the locations of the GN Drives.

A few significant bits of info here and there but not that much. It also mentioned that 2 new GN Drives was newly created for the 00 Quanta's Twin Drive System (this info makes perfect sense only after the recent 00V Senki 10 Drive retcon). The Bits can form a GN Field when grouped together. There is a small beam gun in the shield binder. The Sword Bits each have a retractable handle which makes them usable as real swords. A Special Mode exists that increase Setsuna's Innovator powers.

All skipped on the weapon descriptions, since they mentioned that they only mention the general stuff and info that we already know.

Not that it matters now. The Astraea that Fon's using right now is an exact replica of the original Astraea, only painted red and using a GN-Drive[T]. Which he uses to kill Emprusses and Gadessas and Garazzos by the dozens with, the fuckin' Gary Stu. >.>

I was looking at the back of the 00Q's box, and saw that the line for the TDS only points to the back and not the shield as well. Makes it look like both GN Drives are in the chest (I know they aren't).

Did the boxart on the 00 only point to one GN Drive for the TDS as well?

As far as I know for the 00 boxes, they don't point out two GN Drives, they just say "GN Drive".

Its actually a carbon copy of Astraea f instead of Astraea. Amd yeah I share your dissatisfaction.

Instruction boooklet.

00 Gundam instruction pointed it to the cones.

Anyways, if you look at in the information weapon section, go look at the one labeled 4. The picture of the 2 GN Drives are beside it. 4 also happens to be the label with the single Line thing your looking at, where it says Twin Drive System in English, and the 4 labeled text in Japanese is the description for the Twin Drove System alongside the pictures beside it showing all the Drives are.

It's just a thruster cone, just like 3rd gen gundams had. Remember, the third gen gundams had the GN drives in their torsos, the cone was just a thruster unit.

I think they're visually GN Drives too. It really looks like them.

However, I do not think they're GN Drives at this point simply because of one Drive limitations. It may be more Taus or it could be a thrusters.

For the moment, it is an interesting notion to see what they really are but I again remind that their just aestatiocs. 00 Gundam 7S/G cones look like GN Drives too but they lack the actual Drivecores. At this moment, these thing on Raphael can be anything really, we'll just have to wait and find out the answer.

It wont bother me so much if he actually displayed skill while he did it or by having far superior tactics (IE, strategy over raw power) but he destroyed them all in a relatively simplistic fashion that its illogical as far as power ratings go. When I say simplistic, I mean one hit kills.

Whats worst is the 00P profile says that the Astraea F that Fon uses is just a carbon copy of the normal Astraea F; not even the Astraea F2 (which is 40% stronger). So we cant even rationalise it as some sort of internal unmentioned upgrade. The people who are directing the sidestories are idiots really, going as far as making their own cases worst.

Hell, even if it was done in TA at least its somehow sensible but he doesn't have it and he loved to use it back with the F2. There seems to be some kind of break in reality when it comes to the potrayal of battles in the anime and the side stories. ITs like they're not even compatible.

As someone who is knowledgeable on the profiles and supposed performance stats of the mobile suits in the series, its just plain BS.

Well in addition to the above feats Fon also slaughtered a bunch of GNX-III and opened big can of whoop ass on Beside Pain in the 1 Gundam. It should be noted that the the 2 Empruss were destroyed by the Avalanche Astraea Dash not the Astraea Type F using it's normal equipment.

Also what I was talking about with Black Astraea before was I read somewhere that it had 4 GN Launchers hooked up to it and was using prototype versions of the GN Long and Short blades Exia used when it fought the Astraea Type F2.

That was the original Astraea who had those thongs done. The 4 GN Launchers thing is just the special Quad cannon configuration to test something; Seravee's Quad Cannon ability was derived from this concept/experiment much later.

The same goes for the "prototype" short and long blades that later appeared on Exia, these too were weapons used by the Original Astraea for testing at one specific time when it was still piloted by Ruido.
