I wonder if there will be an S3, A new alien life form will arise. Possibly the aliens that ELS conquered and wanting to get revenge so they are seeking those with Innovator powers to use them in their revenge.

About the screen shot of GNX-IV (Normal type), It uses an enhanced GN Tau Drive? (Producing purple GN Particles, OR is that an ELS?)...Anyways, I just remember Transformers anime where there's also a bunch of alien species that can copy other robots just by seeing them or taking a sample from them.

My first impression of the movie was that it was pretty good. This movie broke away from some of the gundam cliche, and its good to see a change. Though i would have preferred it more, if it had more 1 on 1 action, and more 00Q action.

The first part was kinda cool, i like the new units in movie (in the movie).The Setsuna flag action was pretty cool as well, its good to see that it isn't always the main character in the gundam fighting.The part where the gundams were fighting the ELS were pretty cool because i get the helplessness feeling from the gundams, back then i was like "damn nothing's going to kill all the ELS" and that the gundams were in serious problem.

The thing i liked about Raphael is that (finally) Tierra operates 2 MS at the same time. Back in S2 i always wanted Tierra to do that. In the end Raphael didn't pull off the "Wing Gundam Buster Rifle Blast", oh well..

I like fast battles but i found the battles to be a little too fast for me, not to mention that my burning eyes didn't help. If i didn't read about Harute's bits, i wouldn't know about it in the movie. It's kinda sad that after the 'power up' Harute and Zabanya were literally spamming big blasts of beam.

Anyway this movie just proves that putting Louise and Saji in the show was a total waste of my time watching their scenes in S1 &2 .I thought that the movie would somehow redeem Louise and Saji's usefulness ,but then again i'm glad that they didn't spend too much time on Louise and Saji since then there would be more screentime for the meisters(i wanted this since S1...)Good thing Graham and Andrei didn't miraculously revive at the end of the movie.

EDIT: Initially i wanted to count the kill rate of this movie's gundams but after seeing it, there's NO WAY i'll count the kill rates....

I'm not exactly sure but it seems to have the usual trademark colors of a main character's gundam (blue,red,white). I highly doubt that its 00Q since at the end of the movie 00Q is shown to be collecting algae. But then again i could be wrong about that MS though since my eyes isn't exactly at its best today.

Perhaps that what I would to like to happen, Of course with a different and better director. Mizushima failed to bring a new course for Gundam with the aliens or it's just my view. What I would to see for S3 is, GS/GSD + 00 elements, or with codegeass elements.

About Aeolia's plan, His plan is orchestrated dramatically. So my view is...
Unite the world against CB -> CB would be killed then the anger will be put in the Innovades -> Innovades will Innovate humanity in order to disperse their anger -> High QBW caused by Innovators will attract aliens -> Misunderstanding of aliens of the QBW would cause the aliens to attack humanity -> Humanity and the Innovades will unite -> Ribbons would serve as the bridge to understanding.
But it turned out to be that Setsuna replaced Ribbons but the plan is not entirely changed.

Just watched the movie. Despite some lousy reviews from my friends, I personally found it quite enjoyable. The final scene was particularly meaningful....

I was kind of sad to see Marina living alone in the middle of nowhere and blind...but thinking back, with the technological advancements, it will not be impossible for her to regain her sight, unless she chose not to. And since peace had already been achieved, Marina was most probably at peace with herself as well....Sorry if I can't find a better way to phrase it.

Secondly, I was pondering why Setsuna specifically went to visit Marina. The only reason I can think of was that while Setsuna ceased being hostile towards Marina after season one, he never did specifically told Marina that he forgave her...did he? So Setsuna visit Marina can be seen as Setsuna setting aside his past.

Thirdly, I was wondering what will Setsuna do from here on. He is obviously not your normal Innovator by the end of the movie. He's like an evolved form of Innovator, and he most probably signifies the peak of human evolution. It took some time for Innovators to increase their numbers on earth and become accepted and integrated into the society. If Setsuna's presence were to be made public, imagine the chaos, as he may be viewed as a representation or leader to the Innovators, and there are still humans who have yet to evolve....though I don't think Setsuna will be stupid enough to do that, I still feel sad for him 'cause he's alone all over again. He used to have friends shouldering the burden of maintaining peace with him, but now he himself IS Celestial Being.

Phew...just some of my thoughts. Overall, I personally find this movie to be a wonderful conclusion to 00.

Correct Bandai would be fools to try to extend Gundam 00 given that it only got average ratings for a Gundam series, they should try to get Gundam's ratings back to the C.E series.
