Bluecheesium refers to the excessive long posts in the thread.. Bascially when you have a wall of text to be posted, you can refer to it as Bluecheese.
Ask Kha for a better explanation, he was the one who created it in the first place.... Refer to his OC, 'Kha' for a good example...
I'll tackle the backlog later.
But first...
To Riddly and Arrow, welcome to the OC thread!
Don't worry about the minor details. Just feel free to create your own characters. And watch them get a life of their own! If we can find openings, we'll be happy to accommodate your characters in the timelines. If not, feel free to create your own Alternate Universe where you have absolute control over their fates. We're all here to enjoy. I'm positive you two will enjoy as well!
By the way, Riddly. The OC thread is NOT anti-yuri. We just don't want the more ridiculous ship wars and the narrow-minded NXF'ers who say 'Not NXF = fail'. If you plan on bagging Fate (in AU) or making some yuri-stories with your characters here, there are no rules against that. In fact, AImost Pure, another member here has several yuri-pairings for his/her story. We accommodate anyone.
*holds back Kha and Chaos*
Well, gotta go off! Seeya people later!
Thank you for the welcome.
Oh, and I won't be bagging Fate. Even in AU I'd prefer to see her with Nanoha. But thank you for the consideration of what I may want my relationships to be. <3
And thank you also for the welcome Liingo, and Night. Pffh, you mean the series doesn't revolve around NxF?
I'm just messing with you. I'll be honest, I really do like NxF, but I know the entire series isn't just about that, and if something pops up that isn't NxF, that doesn't mean it's insta-fail. You guys are all quite tolerant of the massive horde that's the NxF fans, and the least I can do or any other fans is show the same respect in turn.
You guys are getting me sucked in~ It's almost 2am, and I have to be at work in 6 hours, yet here I am typing away my profile. Also, this isn't complete yet. I still need to create her background info. I would like you guys to check what I have though and see if I'm on the right path.
Spoiler for Riddly's unfinished character!:
Name: Riddly Tarisforth
Alias: Dancing Embers
Sex: Female
Age: 20
Birthday: April 27th
Homeworld: Midchilda
Relatives: Riven Tarisforth (fraternal twin brother, older by 2 minutes)
Occupation/Rank: Saint Church Intelligence Investigator
Height: 5'4"
Weight: 125 lbs
Hair Color: Light brown
Eye Color: Green
Mage Rank: AAA+
Magic Type: Neo-Velka
Magic Circle Color: Maroon
Favored Element: Fire
Signature Move: Flammeteiler
Device Name: Feuerbrand
Device Appearance: The device looks like a Glaive in appearance. The shaft of it is a bright silver, with the blade section being a deep red. A wicked curve is cut into the central body of the blade.
Barrier Jacket: Long-sleeve, dark maroon jacket that stops at her knees. Gold and silver trimming around the cuffs, neckline, and tail of the jacket. The outline of flames grace the sleeves of the jacket in gold stitching, with the tips or the flames stopping at the elbow crease. Form fitting shorts, the same dark maroon color, stop a few inches before hitting her knees. Black boots that stop halfway up her calves, are adorned with four sets of clasps and buckles. The metal clasps are of a metallic red color.
**Gasp! A female mage/knight that isn't flying around in a skirt or dress. No pantsu for you~ (well, besides Subaru <.<)
Personality: Spunky and usually upbeat, Riddly is the type to try and always look on the positive side, (often failing miserably at that) Unless of course, you're just in a crap situation, with no hope in sight. Then she tends to complain. Easily annoyed and outspoken, she is currently trying her best to remain patient with certain annoying people within her unit. Once you've been branded as a lost cause by her, there's generally no hope left for you.
Oh wow! I never expected someone to think like me on this one... Nice, haiz!
Well, there were a few times in OG2 where my main ship got ambused and wc3 when i got attacked by com when i was attack them. In 2 of those cases, i got
pwned in < 1min. So u can think i pissed i felt before playing strategically =P
@Riddly: nice char but is she in an AU or StrikerS? Since it's unfinished, i expect you would be filling background and skills sooner or later.

A member of the Saint Church! We dont get many of those here. Riddly will probably be acquainted with Kha, since he is a Meister over there (and even trying to bag Carim )
Nice first character... now lets see what you have planned for her.
BTW, when will her...what was that, matrix projection?...be ready? Should I take her into account when my girls go visit Aurion again?
No! It's still a concept. And if I ever go through with it, it'll be post-RevivalS.

Back to the skies, Nanoha and Vita had just entered the Cradle.
"Yui, now that Nanoha-chan and Vita are in, it's up to us to take care of the outside." Hayate communicated to her.
"I'll do my best!" She replied confidently.
Then, the Cradle shot another round of cannon beams.
"Is everyone okay?" Hayate asked.
"Y-Yes, somehow we managed to dodge it." a Clerk replied.
"Thank goodness..." Yui sighed with relief.
"More Drones are being deployed!" Another Clerk warned them.
"What?" Yui said surprised.
"They keep coming..." Hayate commented.
----------------------------
While Fate and Sister Schach were dealing with drones, Koji and Maren were...
"Hmm, seems like a dead end..." Koji looked at the wall in front of him.
"No, if you closely this part here is a door." She pointed at the center of wall.
"Oh, now that you mention it..." He began to see it too.
"The door seems stuck..." Maren tried to open it alone.
"It's okay, let me do it." Koji stepped forward.
"No, I think I got it-ah!" The door suddenly slid open, making Maren lose her balance.
"Maren!" He grabbed her, but slipped (on a banana peel) too...
Meanwhile, in a highway.
"Ah..." Ginga let out unintentionally.
"Is something wrong, 13?" Wendi asked.
She shook her head and kept going.
"Ite~ ...M-Maren are you okay?" He winced a bit as he opened his eyes.
Blushing, Maren looked at Koji, who was on top of her, "K-Koji-sama...your hand..."
"Eh?" He blinked and looked at his right hand, that was resting Maren's chest. "GAH!"
Koji jumps off her, "I-I'm sorry...It was an accident." He waved his hands furiously as he explained.
Maren slowly got up, "I-It's okay...If it's Koji-sama, I don't mind..." She mumbled.
"What did you say?" He didn't quite get the last part.
"N-Nothing...let's move on." She started walking.
"O-Okay..." He followed her.
----------------------------
Once more, Treize was panting, but a hint of satisfaction could be seen.
"One more time...just one more try and I can leave."
Them a rumbling sound reached where she was, "What's happening?"
Treize looked at the holo-display, and it showed footage of the hallways throughout the lab.
"These people...they're not registered in the database..." She saw Koji and Maren running in a hallway.
"Ah...Onee-san" The image changed to one of Schach looking at Sein, who was surprised by Schach.
----------------------------
Separated from Schach, Fate was now facing Tre and Sette...they stood there, looking at eachother.
(Fate-senpai, we heard an explosion, is everything okay?) Koji transmitted.
(I'm fine...but I was separated from Sister Schach, and right now I have two Sentou Kijin blocking my path.)
(Then we'll get there r-) Koji was then interrupted by Fate
(No...stay on that path, find Scaglietti and arrest him.) She ordered.
(B-But...Fate-senpai...) Koji hesitated.
(Koji...trust me.) Fate said in a kinder tone.
*sigh* (Fine...just be careful...)
(Yes. You too.) She finished.
Tre then spoke, "Thank you for telling us that there are more of you here."
"What?" Fate gasped.
"It sounded like those two from the Ground Central..." Sette commented.
(T-They can listen in on our communications...) Fate said to herself.
"Now that we know, I can do this..." Tre snapped her fingers.
At that moment, the whole hallway was engulfed in a AMF.
"AMF?" Fate said as she felt its effects.
"This should make things more interesting for your comrades..." Tre looked at Fate.
----------------------------
Outside the Cradle, Hayate was informed that Vita and Nanoha were taking different routes.
"Hayate-nee..." Yui looked at her worried.
"I'm okay..." She panted, "Just a bit out of shape..." She smirked.
Yui looked at the Cradle, "The Drones just keep coming and coming...and we're not even hindering it."
"THat may be true, but..." Hayate paused, "We have to buy them as much time as possible."
Yui smiled, "Yes, Hayate-nee!" She gripped Undine tighter "Let's go, Undine!"
[Yes!] The device replied.
And she headed out again to attack Drones.
Hayate smirked, (You're just like your brother...headstrong and brave.) She said to herself.
"All right everyone, let's keep it up!" Hayate shouted with enthusiasm.
"Yes!" The Clerks replied.

This is the last part of chapter 16, the following chapter will follow episode 22
I'm kinda thinking of putting Cinque (and Treize) on Koji and Maren's path...
But it's a big risk, because of the... *cue drums* ION CANON
Also, Cinque might go and attack Schach in epsiode 23
The general's eyes had difficulty focusing, adjusting to see properly in the near-dark room that he found himself confined in.
Well, it wasn't so much a room as much as it was a cell.
His face bloodied and battered, red stains dotted his crumpled suit, and a sharp pain shot into his head as if he had been slugged across the back of it by some hard object.
He was busy, almost preoccupied even, wondering where he was, his mind racing wtih anxiety. He froze, however, and turned his head fearfully when a click resounded in the "cell". A single lamp, shining a dull yellow, was switched on, and Regius found himself witnessing the most horrific sight he had ever layed his eyes on.
A figure, glad in jet-black and nothing else, save for a mask whose description, an eternal look of sadness on its face with its mouth turned in an arc seemed to be mocking him, laughing at him despite its silent sorrow. At least, that was what the face behind the false visage did. He let out a soft, sly chuckle, and spoke in a bone-chilling tone.
"Hello...General."
Regius looked around nervously, asking the masked figure and still trying to retain a degree of position in his voice: "W-who are you? Where am I?!"
"That matters not" was the cold reply. "What matters is that we have you in our grasp...yes, you, the acclaimed General Regius Gaiz! Quite a problem you have shown yourself to be over time, haven't you?" His remarks were cheery, yet snide. "Well...every rose has its thorns..."
Regius spat in spite of his situation. "I...I demand to know! I have the authority to-"
"Edgar, shut him up, if you will."
An elderly man in a suit stepped out of the shadows, unsheathed a cane sword and struck the angered and beleaguered captive across the face with its hilt. Regius tried to move a hand up to cover the wound, to quell its stinging pain, but his hands were rendered immobile by tightened magic binds.
"And, might I inform you..." The black-clad man pointed at the right side of Regius' head. "You have something.. missing there."
It took a moment before Regius understood what he meant, and he only did so when speaker redirected his pointing finger to the floor. Managing to crane his head around far enough, he saw a pool of blood on his right side- and then noted the odd absence of his right ear.
It was then that the general vainly attemped to hold back a gasp of horror. "Maybe that's why you kept rambling, Regius", the masked onlooker stated, clearly. "Perhaps it was because you were unable to hear me to some degree, hm? You can thank my dear sister Cinque for that." The platinum-haired girl stepped into the dull light, one of her knives covered in drying red liquid. "Many thanks for that, Cinque", he said apprasingly.
"Anyway!" He clapped his hands, and his eyes locked on the general, a gaze that could speak daggers hidden behing his facial covering. "You are here for one reason, General." His tone was direct, and icier than cold steel. "And that reason is for you to die a death you most deserve."
The man unsheathed a pair of knives, their blades glinting ominously, deathly. He looked upon the figure in front of him who was now reduced to a shivering wreck. "And I can assure you..."
"That is what you shall recieve."
Well, it's either this, or the other scenario in which Nove deals with him at V's orders. I've yet to decide, but I have a feeling the older scene might be better...hm...
@SparkZ: Place Cinque in there, say "screw you" to the Ion Canon! We need more Cinque (and more Treize- nice little segment of her's, by the by) NOW!
And speaking of Cinque...is it alright if I use that sketch you did of her a while back in the description section of information files related to ShardS? I don't mind if you refuse, this is just a request, good sir.
YES! REGIUS MUST SUFFER THE MOST PAINFUL DEATH!!!! DIIIIIEEEEEEE!!!

Background
Born into a wealthy family who doesn’t have time to look after the both of them, the brothers were admitted by their parents to a private mage training school at the young age of 5. There, they met a young talented woman who was a former Ace in the TSAB.
She had trained taught them everything she knew about magic, and they had excel in every aspect of her lessons. She became the first real parent-figure to the twins. The two brothers were given their devices from her as well. She gave the bright whitish-blue ‘Cortana’ to Clyde, and the dark shadowy ‘Almacia’ to Jeno.
Sadly, five years after they met, she was called back by the bureau for an emergency rescue mission; her fiancée was caught behind enemy lines and was in possession of vital data that is of high importance to the Bureau. The data had successfully made it to headquarters, at the expense of both of their lives.
At her funeral, both brothers made at a crossroad that would forever change their lives. Clyde wanted to join the TSAB, believing that it’s what she would have wanted and that it was the ‘right’ way and the best way to become the strongest. He wanted to be like her.
Jeno, however, had a different view. While wishing to become the strongest, he did not belief that working with the Bureau was the way. After all, despite what the Bureau believes, she isn’t the best. She’s only human. She still dies. From that, Jeno believes that the way to power, has to be the path which is not trend by her, but by the ones who were stronger than her. The ‘dark’ side.
The two brothers made a bet, to see which one of them is right, and a silence agreement that the next time they meet, it won’t be on peaceful terms.
Both brothers have a very special gift. Clyde has the ability to see the ‘good’ in people. He could read their kindness, happiness, love, and concern. This had caused him quite a bit of problems as he became hesitant when fighting people. To counter this problem, he created a mask to block out those auras when he’s in combat.
The side-effect of this method is that he develops two distinct personalities, one care-free, kind and cheerful, and one cold, calculative, and decisive.
Unlike his brother, Jeno has the ability to read the ‘evil’ in people. He could see their hate, shame, greed, and fear. Unlike Clyde, this ability benefits him in combat, rather then hindering his skills, hence he uses it a lot more and has better control over it.
4 years later, Jeno met Spica during his last mission and was attracted to her looks. He was soon told to ignore her by all the other fighters, calling her ‘an emotionless killing doll’. But he questioned this belief as he could distinctly see her sadness.
Despite his Constance denial, it was fairly obvious that he has very strong feelings for her. This was proven when for the first time in his life, he did something for another person that did not profit him in any logical way.
At the very end of things, both Jeno and Clyde teamed up for the first and last time in their lives to put and end to an apocalyptic scenario – The razing of an entire planet. Jeno also wanted to free Spica from her master’s will, and had given his life to complete that task.
After handing over his device to Clyde to help him escape, Jeno waited to die alone, but was surprised to see Spica willing to stay with him behind.
The both of them were rescued by the Sinclair Loki, and Jeno took his offer to die and be reborn as a destroyer. With Almacia gone, Jeno took the fallen Warlord’s weapon and had it reprogram with the designation “Executioner” and “Exorcist”.
Now with immortality and the power of the devils (And a beautiful girl), in his grasp, the right-hand of the god of evil treats the dimensions and the many lives in them as his own personal playground.
(I don't have an image yet, but I can say that he has Lelouch's hair style )
Now I get it! Awesome background story!
When can he meet the current cast?

Azure Squadron 42nd Air Force Unit // 116th Tactical Fighter Squadron
Hailing from a world similar to Earth in many respects, the 116th is a group of elite fighter pilots flying custom-built aircraft. Their aerial prowess is more through instinct than training, as these fighter pilots aren't typical fighter jockeys - they're in fact silver falcons.
The term "silver falcon" is in fact a misnomer, as almost any bird of prey can become silver, not just falcons. The "silver" term originates from their glistening silver feathers, which grant them limited control of one of four possible elements - fire, water, lightning, or ice. The most powerful can control wind in addition to their typical element. In this sense they're not unlike Zapdos, Articuno, and Moltres from Pokemon (which the silver falcons were based on). (Note also that they are not in any way anthro or furry - silver birds are the same size as birds of today)
Unlike the three Pokemon, silver falcons were hated and reviled from humans, despite their high intelligence. Anti-silver laws have gone to the extreme, as humans are required by law to kill any silver falcon on sight, no matter the circumstances, using any means necessary. This is due to a legend which states that the silvers were created from Hell itself. The legend is indeed true, but the humans have left out one critical point - they were created, true, but their construction was interrupted. Therefore, the silvers, which were supposed to be weapons of mass destruction, only sported part of their intended power and weren't ethically or morally tied to evil - they were able to choose their own path.
Yet the anti-SF sentiment continued and all attempts by the silvers to make peace were thrown out the window. Their numbers dwindled rapidly, and those that remained chose to either go into hiding or conceal themselves on a small island in the North Rygelian Sea - with their non-silver counterparts, who despised them as well.
Eventually, one silver falcon named Scott Windwhistler paved the way for their society to flourish again. Details aside, he managed to commandeer an Anethian prototype Fliter-class battlecarrier, which he dubbed the SFWS Skywind. Along with his mate's best friend, Remington, he created the SF military, whose role was to protect their society from the humans, who intended to drive it to extinction.
Their final mission's primary target would that, when destroyed, would kill all silver falcons in the world. There is only one silver left alive in this world, named Arrow - Scott's only brother, who survived the event by transforming into a human.
Little did Arrow realize, however, that the silvers were hardly dead - instead they were transferred over to the realm of the TSAB. Using a complicated series of Anethian holograms and forcefields, they were able to create the illusion of being human (only Arrow was able to truly become human and thus survive).
The 116th is the elite squadron of the Silver Falcon Airborne Forces, but there are many other squadrons as well.
116th Roster:
Scott Windwhistler Age: 20 (?) SF Element: Lightning/Wind Specialty: Combat Air Patrol
Scott Windwhistler is the leader of the silvers. How he managed to get this command is a long story (but I do have it sorted out) but suffice to say, he is very much like Nanoha - prefers to make friends first rather than blast people. However, years of anti-SF sentiment has caused him to be extremely careful when dealing with humans, and as such is rather shy and tries to keep to himself. When prompted, however, he can be rather sociable, especially around his own kind. He typically flies a TSAB-modified Avey Alpha Model 1. Since he is in holographic-human form around the TSAB, he cannot use any of his silver falcon attacks. The Avey Alpha 1, however, is more than capable of fighting on his behalf. Signature Attack - Aerovis Thundaris Taught to him by his father, Rigel, Aerovis is Scott's most accurate attack, but can only be launched in falcon form. He swoops at low altitude over the target area, blasting them with a wall of wind while simultaneously striking them with a shower of sparks. Difficult to evade, but causes only moderate damage by human standards.
Ariel Windwhistler Age: 22 (?) SF Element: Ice/Wind Specialty: Air Interdiction
Ariel is friendly and cheerful, and would be considered by human standards a girly-girl. Despite this, she is the second-fastest and physically the strongest silver falcon in existence (which, unfortunately, isn't saying much, as in true form she is only slightly larger than a crow). Extremely trusting of her mate, Scott, she immediately opens up to anyone he trusts, and loves him deeply. This does not mean, however, they have their own little spats - which are often resolved by a quick aerial dogfight. She flies the Avey Alpha Model 3, the air intercept version of the Avey Alpha 1. Signature Attack - Superfreeze Modifying her mate's Aerovis Thundaris attack, Ariel swoops over the target area but instead of striking the targets with a shower of sparks, she supercools the wall of air to extremely low degrees, allowing it to chill or freeze targets upon contact.
Oliver Windwhistler Age: 18? SF Element: Lightning/Wind Specialty: Stealth/Deception
Oliver is a practical joker, and often pulls pranks and is extremely playful, especially among his fellow falcons. He can also be rather competitive in the air and rarely ever holds back. A master of tricks, he specializes in fooling enemy radar by creating electrical signatures in the air similar to his own. He can also easily lie all kinds of traps and can often make some on the fly given proper materials. His master of tricks also works defencively, as his knowledge of trap placement lets him know where a trap might be. Signature Attack - False Lightning Oliver saturates a target area with a hundred bolts - however, all but one will dissipate before striking the target. This attack, therefore, bypasses any kind of directional barrier. Only a shield that protects from all directions will truly deflect False Lightning.
Melody Windwhistler Age: 18? SF Element: Water Specialty: Attack Coordination
Melody is Oliver's mate, and lives up to her name as being quite musical. She also, however, can be rather aggressive, and can launch herself into battle without considering consequences. A gung-ho kind of girl, she holds her older sister, Ariel, in disdain for her girly-girlness. Unlike Oliver, she isn't rather playful, but she almost always "plays" with Oliver (which often results on her biting playfully on his neck). Signature Attack - Waterfall Collecting water in the air and splashing it down on the target under high pressure is often a quick way out of a dire situation, or when she needs a good distraction to make a move.
Lead Admiral "Remy" Remington Age: 20? SF Element: Water Specialty: Naval Command
She utterly hates her last name, so everyone simply calls her Remington. Her dogfighting skills are hardly as good as Scott or Ariel's, but that's fine by her, as she commands the SF Aerial Navy and thus can issue commands to Scott while he's in command of the Skywind. She almost never fights in an airplane, preferring to fight from her heavily modified battleship, the Silver Dawn. A childhood friend of Ariel and Scott's first crush, she is considered by most to be a female version of Scott. As close to "normal" as you get, pretty much. She can be a pretty good cook, and discovered that every silver falcon has a taste for vanilla-flavoured ice cream. She also has built a board game - Battle of Coral Sea - A Game of Naval and Air Strategy for young pilots and captains to test their skills.
Ayden Firewind Age: 13? SF Element: Fire Specialty: Naval Command
Remington's young protege and Battle of Coral Sea champion. He surpasses almost everyone in his age group - only Remington and Scott can truly give him a run for his money. There really isn't much to say about him - he's humble about his skills and often tries to win without losing a piece - an achievement made possible only when not fighting someone older than him.
"Avey" Age: 20? SF Element: Lightning Specialty: Aircraft construction
He was tortured in his youth for being a silver falcon, and thus has forgotten his last name - only "Avey" remains. Despite this, his time around humans has let him understand the intricacies of aircraft construction, and constructed the Avey Alpha series of attack craft.
Roland "Rho" Age: 22? SF Element: Water Specialty: Aircraft construction
The older brother of Avey, Rho co-created the Avey Alpha series of attack craft. His specialty lies primarily in airframes and weapon placement, while Avey handles things like avionics. He spends more time, however, analyzing the Silver Dawn's weapons and engines, and has become chief engineer of the SD. His true love, however, is still aircraft construction.
Kaylee Windwhistler Age: ?? SF Element: Ice/Lightning/Wind Specialty: Everything?
Scott and Ariel's daughter. Nothing is known about her, as Scott and Ariel have classified all details regarding her...including from themselves.

SF-201
Standard air superiority fighter of the SFAF. Being phased out in favour of the Avey Alpha models. Armed with a pair of wingtip-mounted baryon laser weapons which can swivel to target anything within its front quarter, thus negating the use of missiles. Its layout is similar to an ME-262, but is gull-winged and has a more slender nose.
SB-204
Close air support aircraft with odd wings that actually extend in front of the cockpit and slant down at 45 degrees. It almost looks like a shuttle from Star Wars, but with a more fighter-like nose, the large tail fin, and a single jet engine instead of two. It typically carries a pair of light bombs for attacking surface targets. It sports wingtip-mounted autolasers, making it a difficult target for fighters.
SF-204
Air-intercept variant of the SF-201. Sports multiple missile racks for long-range assaults, but is being retired shortly in favour of baryon-equipped weapons. Engine improvements allow it to fly much faster at the cost of turning ability and weapons load. Ideal for intercepting bombers.
SF/E-262
Four-winged aircraft similar to the E-3 Sentry. It sports a massive sensor suite and has a large dish on its back that allows it to see just about everything. It is said, with truth, that it is impossible to sneak up on an E-262 - it is still, however, a sitting duck if left unguarded.
C-101
Gull-winged cargo/refuelling aircraft, similar to the KC-10 Extender. Engines are located on the wingtips to disperse slipstream and allow for easier refuelling.
Avey Alpha 1
The mainstay of the SFAF, equipped with four forward-facing baryon lasers. Looks more similar to a fighter aircraft of today since it isn't as gull-winged. Although its wings are so large it doesn't need a tail, it still has a rudder and is still extremely manoeuvrable thanks to its forked swallow-like tail.
Avey Alpha 2
The silver falcon's heavy bomber, similar to the B-17 and the B-52. It flies slowly, but packs a large payload of bombs and can devastate any land facility with ease. Unlike most bombers, it is equipped with afterburners, allowing it to zip in and zip out, earning it the title of "Backdrop" for its independence.
Avey Alpha 3
An air intercept variant of the Avey Alpha 1 that is under construction.
Avey Alpha X
The brainchild of Scott, Ariel, Avey, and Rho, the Avey Alpha X is designed to be the perfect plane. Scott flew one of the two prototypes and found the controls to be far too sensitive for him - that prototype was destroyed when it crashed into Skywind's shielding. Needless to say, it is very much under construction.
SFWS Skywind
The first ship liberated by the silvers, the Skywind was originally meant to have Spartan-like sleeping quarters and minimal enjoyment. Because silver falcons are so small, however, a friendly nation stripped down the quarters and added in a ton of new features, turning it into almost a flying hotel. Its guns were reduced for this, however, but the hangar was expanded in exchange, allowing easier flights in and out. Its weapons consist of numerous baryon lasers for engaging enemy fighters, meson lasers for larger targets, and the Tachyon Pulse Cannon (TP Gun) which is capable of vapourizing a single target after almost 20 minutes worth of charging and set up.
SFWS Silver Dawn
The Silver Dawn is Remington's ship and is much more manoeuvrable and heavily armed than Skywind. Its hangar was stripped and is almost nonexistant, but the Silver Dawn is designed to be a frontline fighter, engaging anything and everything that comes its way. It doesn't have any superweapon, but unlike other craft, it does have a... Signature Attack - Baryon Storm By flying at low altitude in a wide circle, the Silver Dawn is capable of striking a single target from all sides, broadside guns blazing.
Quetial-class Arcane Cruiser
One of the newest developments with the TSAB, the Quetial-class is an experimental ship design intended to breed silver falcon ships with TSAB magic. Tests to incorporate an Arc-en-Ciel cannon look promising.
WOW! Lot's of details in the first entry!

And we appreciate it. Goes to show that people can really get along well when we respect the other people's views.

Hey! I'm liking this character! I can already see her fitting quite well in several stories here. Keep it up! <lol at the outfit joke>
@Arrow: Woo! Another resident Ace Combat fan! (Yes, I know of it too) Nice to see that...and also a nice character group you have there. A good product indeed.
@Well...many. It seems we have quite the war on yuri taking place here. I'm usually just a spectator to conflicts, so I'll step out of it.
@Riddly: A nice little character biography there- as Aaron said, I can see her fitting into quite a few timelines and such. Looking forward to more.
@Aaron & Lowe: Oh, Regius'll die.
He'll die a death fitting him.
And have you guessed the movie that scene was partially based off yet?
Nice quotes! Some of those here got me LOLing so hard!
And if all men are created equal, but are vastly inferior to Arcas... Then he's not a man?

The only way to achieve immortality is to get Kha to say to you, "I won't let anything happen to you."

She also has built a board game - Battle of Coral Sea - A Game of Naval and Air Strategy for young pilots and captains to test their skills.

IHey what's this for?! I'm holding Chaos back!!!

Aw shucks no pantsu. -_-
Uh What? I haven't started yet.
It's nice and simple. Now to add a history and spell list, and whatever else you want!
And my friend here continues:

Yeah I'm sure Kha and Riddly would've met a few times. Might have worked together on mission or even done... GATTAI!

Nah. He looks like a bounty hunter for me.

I'm sure they'll have lots to talk...

Ack... I gotta cut down on Tracing other people.
@Aaron: Neither does Kha... The only thing on him that says ORE is ??????.
He and the rest of the Destroyers are the Sinclairions' Black Ops agents. They usually manipulate situations through their own underlings so as not to implicate the Sinclairions.
But when things goes too far down south, they would step in to handle it personally, and that usually means cleaning up messes like the Zerg incidents.

Forgot to comment on your info on the Naaru, Kha. They look...interesting, to say the least. Didn't you mention that their form was like such to accomodate Relics they swallowed, or was that in the case of only one? Sorry, I'm tired, blame me all you want.
And now, here's a piece that's in somewhat heavy debate...and I still need to produce a follow up to this.
Spoiler for Finality:
It was he who alone who stood upwards on his knees.
The man dressed in torn, bloodied black clothing, looking around weakly at the flames consuming the now decimated laboratory. He glanced at the corpse of the scientists before him, then averted his view to his mask that lay discarded a short distance from him.
"My time is up..."
He crawled over to the item, picked it up, and, with shaking hands, placed it back over his face. His breathing was ragged even from this simple action having been weakened so severely.
He called upon what was left of his inner reserves to summon up a communication window. Nanoha was on the other side.
"Nano...ha...", V rasped. The girl instantly looked shocked. "V? V! Are you alright? Can you-"
"Are...are they out?"
The mage was perplexed by the question, and only after a few moments did she understand what the injured character meant. She nodded in affirmation.
"And...what of the suspects that survived?"
"They're rounded up and arrested", she replied.
"So..." V could not help but let a grin form on his features. "You chose to go about it that way, did you?" He laughed, dryly. "That matters not...since the main source of the problem has been erased."
"Now," he said, pleadingly yet knowingly. "I want you to perform a final favour for me."
"And...what might that be?" was the reply. V noted absent-mindedly that Nanoha's tone was cautious- but that it was also mixed with something else.
Fright?
The fallen masked warrior took a final look encompassing the room around him, then answered, directly: "I...want you to take this vessel down. Raging Heart...she's still in Blaster Mode, right?"
The look on Nanoha's face twisted rapidly into one of icy horror. "V, wh...what are you saying? You have to get out of there!"
"Answer my question!" V's sudden order stunned the girl into a state of near silence. He then repeated his question: "Is your device still in its final form?"
Nanoha bobbed her head uneasily. V let out a sigh of relief. "Good. Now, listen to me." His tone was direct, commanding. "I want you release all the remaining power that you have. I want this vessel to be incinerated, nothing more than a pile of burning metal and ashes. The reason why I choose not to vacate the ship is..." He paused, and carried on, his voice tinged with an imperceptible aura of resignation. "I have performed my purpose."
Taking no heed to the look of absolute and almost tearful refusal of his words that Takamachi bore, he carried onwards: "This was what my grand design was for...every waking moment of my life for more than five years I plotted the most exquisite revenge for this man...and that revenge has been served, cold. Now that he has passed, my plan has run its course."
He was met with a cry of protest through the window: "But...but you can't! Think about the others! Fate-chan, Hayate, Caro and Elio-"
"Do you think they'd miss me?"
Nanoha's breath froze. "What...what are you saying?!"
V shook his head, almost amusedly. "They might have come to know me, yes", he stated, to-the-point. "But they'll find it hard to miss me. To them I was a general unknown...but they and you still have but one thing of mine inside you all- the ideal."
Nanoha looked confused, only clarified when V continued: "The ideal to hold up peace, to right wrongs, to unravel malpractices. I, admittedly, performed such in a rather, well..." He was momentarially at a lost for words. "A bloody fashion, yes. You're not a killer like me, of course not, but that, in no way, impedes your ideals of peace-keeping. It is that ideal that we both share- the thought of peace, of retribution on those that disrupt the natural flow of events. Who knows? They might become inclined to take on my...no, our ideal in the near future. But in the case of the young ones..." His tone held a vaucous sort of humor. "Stray from teaching them the art of killing, yes?"
"Now..." V was almost out of breath, his life fading. "Do it."
Nanoha paused, and to V's surprise, shook her head in resentment of the idea. "I won't."
"Nanoha, I'm telling you, please..."
She shook her head again, her voice louder and more desperate in tone. "No! There's still time! You can..."
V grew stricter in his tone. "Nanoha!"
He was met by a scream of outright refusal from the girl. "Mou, V, yamete! Yame-"
"DO IT!"
V's bellow of that single command reverberated in the mage's leaving her stricken.
"Please...my task is done. There's nothing for me now, and...to be frank, if I tried, I probably wouldn't have even been able to evacuate this vessel if I wanted to. So...will you take the burden of my final request?"
It took many moments through a deathly, solemn silence, but reluctantly, ever so reluctantly, Nanoha aimed her device at the Cradle, a large pink sphere of energy charging at its end.
"Tell my tale to those who ask of it..." V murmured. "Tell them all the deeds, that bad and the good, and..." He paused, regurgitating and coughing up blood. He wiped his mouth with the back of his hand. "And let them be judged accordingly."
His eyes turned for the final time to the window at his side, still open, the other side engulfed in a pink glow after the beam's release. V looked ahead of him, and muttered his last as he was swallowed by an almost heavenly white light.
"The rest...is silence."
The reason why this is in debate is because there's no follow up before this (though there will be one) and because I'm generally unsure of the validity of this piece. It -is- AU, therefore V facing down Scaglietti and not Fate (although I still have to figure out how that switch will fully work) is reasonable without me getting blasted by the Ion Canon, but I still hold doubts.
Note that this is, as with most of my pieces, only a prototype segment. I also feel that I didn't capture Nanoha's overall persona in situations like the one depicted. IBut I'll leave that up to you to decide.

Behold content! I’ve been plowing and tweaking this most of the night (and this week) and just finished this and I’m now off the bed, I’ll probably comment on some of the stuff posted tomorrow.
Though I would like to say welcome to the thread to our newcomers… despite being a nub myself. Anyway Arrow might like this…
Spoiler for WARNING GINORMOUS WALL OF TEXT WITHIN!!!:
Zero:
“Anyway after the TSAB intervention things quieted down, at least in the air, the situation on the ground was pretty desperate though food riots, outbreaks of disease, and the avalanche of those horribly wounded in the bombings, etc. It was bad and no one seemed to be in any kind of control of it as the higher ups were too busy fighting over who got what, who did what, and who was going to pay for everything, etc, etc your normal bureaucratic bullshit basiclly. Meanwhile on the ground in the occupied areas the place was coming apart at the seams, it tends to be a bad sign when you’re using combat mages to put down riots…
“It didn’t help that once the war ended and the big money dried up allot of the mercs and freelancers moved on to greener pastures. There was little too gain and plenty to lose trying to manage straving civvies, more so with a bunch of TSAB goons hovering around ready to pounce if you did anything wrong. Our unit mostly stayed together though, for good or ill most of us had decided to hitch our wagon to Cipher, and he stayed so we stayed. There was allot of talk at the time about making it official and sticking together after it was all over as a mercenary troop, Cipher never gave much indication either way if he’d be interested.”
I’m not getting a lot of love for our esteemed government over this incident…
“It was a cluster fuck all around, but they didn’t do much to fix it. Not surprising really sine most of those big headed idiots think they’re way hotter shit then they are, some of them acutally seemed to think that just because they came around and showed some muscle everyone would just roll over and obey, tch as far as the population was concerned they were just the latest in a long list of jerk offs lording over them and giving them orders.
“Plus you had tons of people mightily pissed at them for waiting until a couple million people bit it in a nuclear holocaust to do something. That last bit isn’t so much their fault though if they’d come in earlier people would have decried their “unilateral imperialism” or such nonsense, and then when they did show up after the bombs people were pissed that they didn’t stop it before it reached that point. So they were damned if they did, damned if they didn’t. They also had no real way to know the guys in charge were that crazy, we knew they where slightly unhinged, but we didn’t think they’d resort to nukes.
“That said once they DID show up they managed to fuck things up pretty quick They didn’t have enough troops to actually control the population so they relied heavily on the locals and the couple of us mercs that hung around. The local troops barely listened to their nominal overseers at all and abuse and corruption were rampant, and because these guys were pretty much sanctioned by the TSAB said abuse ended up being blamed on them. I’d have loved to see the looks on their faces when the insurgents started targeting them as well as the local occupiers.
“Said insurgents might not have had intelligent devices, transporters, or space battleships, but they had plenty of explosives and weapons, local knowledge, and an increasing hatred for their occupiers. The TSAB has chronically underestimated everything besides magic, and probably still dose, barrier jackets and shields only protect you if they’re on. They don’t do squat when a cobbled together rocket lands in the middle of a mess hall full of mages in nothing but their BDUs… that incident killed 15 of them by the way one of them an S+ rank colonel, another time they shot down a helo carrying the commander of the entire occupation with a man portable surface to air missile... he survived, barely, but had to be shipped out.
“The response was to crack down with probably excessive force and thus piss off even more people. As this was happening Pixy was watching it all and getting increasingly disgusted by all present. At some point with everything he’d seen and was seeing… I think he just snapped. He decided everyone involved was scum that was doing nothing but prolonging the suffering and needed to be erased if his planet was ever to recover and further decided he’d be the one to do it.”
How magnanimous of him.
“He’ll freely admit he was more then a tad crazy at the time and really thought the plan he came up with would ultimately save lives in the long run. He’s not such a bad guy, just someone who’d stared at the abyss too long and eventually fell in.”
When did you become so poetic?
“You want me to stop?”
… moving along.
“Anyway it all started with a string of seemingly unrelated incident some stolen stockpiles of materials here, seemingly random attacks on certain unconnected bases and units, and a number of mercs and nationals going missing… It was written off as the work of various insurgents and quickly forgotten. Finally though a few months after he vanished Pixy put his plan in motion…”
======================
BOOOOOMMM
“Son of a bitch!” Felix yelled as he rolled out of his bed under the concussion which rocked the entire building.
“The fuck was that?!” Another added bolting up from his bunk.
“On you feet, on you’re fucking feet, we’re under attack! Get your asses up and in the air now god dammit!” Someone else screamed as he kicked open the door and burst into the room moving down the rows of bunks and continuing to scream at the top of his lungs to wake all present.
“By who?!” Someone stammered.
“It doesn’t matter! We have to scramble they hit the 3rd and 4th barracks before anyone even knew what was happe—“ Smoke and debris flew everywhere as most of the south end of the building was suddenly demolished and everyone in the room was hurled to floor.
Several mostly unharmed men quickly hauled themselves up from the floor and shook it off as the room became darker still due to smoke from fires that had started near the impact point. One moved to check a nearby body pinned under some rubble another man moved to asset him but was waved off. “Forget it he’s dead!”
“So are if we don’t fucking move!” Felix barked already heading for the still intact door.
“What about wounded? They could be trapped!”
“Not our problem, the enemy is! Now enough yakking; follow me dammit!” He replied brusquely.
“We’re with you LT!”
They quickly set up their devices and got the hell out of the building which was now about half way to being totally engulfed in flames. As they got airborne and got a good look around them they saw that most of the base didn’t look any better. Fires burned everywhere, at least where the buildings hadn’t simply collapsed on themselves.
“Shit we got slammed, what the hell happened?!” One man cursed as he surveyed the damage.
“The hell is that?!” Another man gapped as he tore his gaze from the base and noted a large hulking form in the distance as it moved off beyond the horizon.
“It’s looks like a fucking space ship who the hell has a spaceship and would want to attack us?!” Still another boggled at the sight.
Their commander chose this time to finally appear and smoothly moved into the lead of the formation. “Captain, what the hell is going on?!” Felix demanded.
“I don’t know the units attacking us had markings from several countries, mostly allied countries, beyond that no clue.” Cipher replied simply stating what little he knew.
“And the spaceship?!” Felix queried angrily.
“No idea, but it did most of the bombings so it needs to go.” He responded casually seemingly unfazed by the chaos around him.
“And are you planning on doing that how exactly?” Felix asked bluntly.
“By plowing through the defenders, getting inside, and tearing it to pieces.” He responded grimly. “And you’re going to help, I need a wingman.”
“Lovely.” Felix replied blandly.
“The ship seemed sluggish and if it tries to heads into orbit the TSAB will blast it out of the sky. It’s heading north now; if we hurry we should be able to catch up to it while it’s still over the nearby mountains and attack without worrying about collateral damage.” Cipher continued unfazed by Felix demeanor.
“What about reinforcements?” Felix asked mildly hopefully but clearly finding the prospects rather unlikely.
“Not any time soon, we were jammed when they hit us and the bases communications were the first target, I sent a trooper off to spread the word, but he won’t arrive for at least an hour, it’ll be several more before anything worthy of note could arrive and I’m not going to let these bastards slip away.” He added venomously, he was pissed, and Felix felt very sorry for anyone that got in his way.
“What are we working with?” Felix asked grimly.
“Counting your group 15 of us made it up, minus the runner, 14 of us total. We’ll be outnumbered, but most of enemy looked fairly low level, you’re usual rebels without a clue.”
“This could still be rough, real rough.” Felix commented darkly.
“It will be.” Cipher replied with certainty as they zoomed over the mountains in purist of the retreating enemy.
===================
“Shit its big...” A trooper muttered as they continued closing on the escaping ship.
“I watched it while it was hitting the base its shields will need to drop for a moment when it fires its weapons, that’s when we’ll slip aboard.” Cipher announced to Felix.
”If we miss the window it’ll be like hitting a brick wall… at mach 1.” Felix muttered.
“Then we best not miss.” Cipher replied bluntly.
“You’re luckily you’re as good as you think you are, I’m not so sure about myself.”
“Just follow my lead and we’ll be fine.”
Felix blew out a labored sigh. “What the hell, hasn’t failed yet, I’ll be right behind you Captain.”
“Heads up we’ve got bandits coming to roll out the welcome mat!” The number three man reported as the small dots around the ship formed up and moved to intercept them.
“Fight smart and clean, no heroics just keep them distracted while me and two take down the ship, got it?”
“Yes, sir!” Echoed from all present.
The enemy fighters were quickly rising to meet the oncoming assault now and the two sides quickly reached the outer edges of their firing ranges and unleashed masses of spoiling fire. Magic missiles raced between them colliding with each other, shields, or spiraling off out of control as evasive maneuvers threw them. A few seconds after that and both sides clashed and merged into a swirling melee with the spells still flying hot and heavy.
Cipher moved to drive right through the furball with Felix just behind. Covered by others they quickly broke through the fighting and into the clear sky beyond heading for the ship. Several gun turrets atop the vessel noting the threat quickly swung aft and began firing at the approaching contacts, they where finding hitting the tiny rapidly maneuvering targets rather difficult though. Quickly switching gears hatches slid open along the ships flanks and dumped dozens of missiles out of VLS tubes and into the air.
Cipher broke left; Felix went right the swarm seemed to favor the later with about 70% of them chasing him.
Just my frikkin luck. Felix growled mentally as he threw himself into a punishing left turn forcing several missiles to overshot, loose lock, and spiral off in random directions, but plenty more were right behind them. Cipher meanwhile was handling his own with his usual casual grace the way he was weaving in and out of the missiles, one evasive maneuver flowing seamlessly to the next you’d think he was flying a pre-planned acrobatic routine.
Felix shook off such nonsensical thoughts quickly though as several intimidating large missiles were closing with him an alarming rate.
“Rapid Shoot.”
Got it Bruce, Rapid Shoot
Felix winced involuntarily at the ridiculous name he’d just been called as he rolled over onto his back and pushed himself over into about a 30 degree dive giving himself a position with a good view of his targets behind and above him. That done he triggered the spell and quickly walked the resulting machine gun like stream of projectiles onto the nearest missiles. The bolts were weak as hell but given that the missiles were basiclly flying bombs that scarily mattered.
The resulting explosions were allot more intense then he expected and nearly hit him, but luckily he’d apparently been just outside the blast radius, and on the plus side the blast threw off most of the missiles that had been right behind the one’s he hit and even destroyed a few giving him a bit of breathing room. He’d thinned the herd considerably now, but even so a fair number pushed through the dissipating explosion and reacquired him before continuing the purist. They were too close to try and shot down now without getting caught in the resulting explosion… He began preparing a shield and crossed his fingers.
A blue beam suddenly lashed out from beyond his peripheral vision and annihilated the remaining missiles. This lot failed to explode as the beam apparently destroyed them so fast the detonators couldn’t even trigger the warheads. The explosion from the fuel still buffeted Felix but his shield easily repelled it.
Now that he wasn’t totally focused on the missiles chasing him Felix also noted that despite his wild maneuvering he’d acutally moved CLOSER to the ship during the chase. “Haha, I’m even better then I thought I was.” He announced half joking.
“Don’t let it go to your head two, come on let’s get insid—BREAK RIGHT!” Cipher began but quickly shifted gears and hurled him in the indicated direction.
Felix wasn’t an idiot and didn’t need anymore reason then that Cipher had said it to do so and quickly altered his own heading to break down and right as a blazing red energy beam ripped through the space they’d just occupied.
An impressive reaction time as expected from the “Demon Lord”. A voice with a slight accent announced over an open telepathic link.
Felix spotted them now as they emerged from one of the ships hangers and raced toward him and Cipher head on, two of them in matching bright red and blue barrier jackets.
If you don’t want to see what this “Demon” can really do you’d best get out of the way…Cipher growled back as he turned into them.
I’m afraid that’s not possible we have orders to defend this ship from all threats something you quite clearly qualify as. Marcela, take the wingman the “Demon lord” is mine.
“What’s the call should we try to bypass them?” Felix asked pulling in closer to his leader.
“We’re going to have to go through them.” Cipher announced with finality and Felix offered no argument. He’d estimated their closing rate and calculated they were at least as fast as either him or his wingman and getting trapped between them and the ships guns was not an option, they needed to be removed. “He’s tipped his hand though, he wants me, and we can use that to our advantage... I want you act like you’re flying poorly, just enough to stay alive, make it look like you’re struggling. I’ve got a plan.”
“Let’s just hope I’ll be acting…” Felix muttered. “Here we go.” He added flatly as the enemy closed in and opened fire again. He rolled out of the path of a series of rapid beam shots and feigned a poorly thought out break to his right that left an obvious opening for his opponent who quickly pounced.
Cipher went head on with the leader pumping out a stream of magic missiles which his opponent nimbly weaved through before answering back with a medium powered beam blast that Cipher swiftly ducked under as his opponent flew past just above his head. Rather then foolishly try to quickly turn back and hastily attack again the red mage dove away in a wide descending turn that opened the range and gained speed while also allowing him to easily keep on eye on his enemy, he was fighting cautiously, that would make Cipher’s plan slightly harder... oh well he’d just need to bait the hook better. Cipher pushed the “throttle” forward and moved into a descending turn of his own in the opposite direction looking to come at his opponent roughly head on again.
How’s it going? Cipher questioned Felix having lost sight of him.
Oh it’s going great, she’s right up my ass and trying to blow it out of the sky, anytime you want to spring this brilliant plan of yours…! Felix shot back irritably.
Hang on I’m setting things up now.
Cipher and Alberto went head to head again Cipher firing as he came, but ‘failing’ to completely dodge the return fire this time and instead raising a shield just in the nick of time to deflect several rounds. Moments later he broke off the game of chicken and rolled away as if scared off by the near miss.
So he’s human after all, as expected. Alberto mused as he quickly turned to follow now in a very much superior position. You’re mine Demon Lord. He growled already gathering up power for a knockout blow. Marcela how is it going?
This one isn’t very good at all, it’s all he can do to stay alive, but I’ll have him shortly don’t worry about me. She replied confidently.
Satisfied Alberto put his wingmen’s situation out of mind and focused on his own target, focused too much acutally. He’d fallen into the trap.
Felix, get into that cloud bank east of you and start charging something big now.
Was going to do that anyway! He shot back grumpily as dove into the nearby bank with several magic missiles not far behind. Cipher altered his coruse slightly checking to make sure his opponent was still close behind, he was going to end this quickly with one decisive blow. He didn’t have time to be chasing a straggler all over the sky after all…
Trying to hide in some clouds won’t save you… Marcela muttered as she closed in on her prey and prepared another salvo of magic projectiles.
“Almost their…”Alberto muttered as he maneuvered wildly to keep up with and behind the twisting and weaving enemy in front of him, but he was managing and his attack was almost ready… His target was moving toward a large cloud bank now, but he wouldn’t reach it before his spell was ready. Alberto took aim and prepared to fire when suddenly directly ahead of him the form of the second enemy burst out of the clouds.
“Shield Breaker!”
He had no time to react and with his energy focused into his about to be deployed attack spell he could barely even muster a shield. The small energy beam slammed into and through his flimsily defense like a battering ram into a house of cards and ripped through his upper torso sending him spiraling away to the ground totally out control and bleeding profusely from the massive wound.
“Alberto!” Marcela screamed panicked as she burst from the clouds and saw her lead going down, quite possibly killed.
That distraction was all Cipher needed and he was upon her in an instant, he led with a brutal blow to her stomach with the end of Blue Eagle that staggered her, he followed up with a spinning kick to the side of her head that sent her cart wheeling through the air and then a barrage of magic missiles that pummeled and crushed her hastily erected barrier before delivering several more hammer blows and leaving her wide open.
“Blast Shot.” The huge projectile formed and fired at a freighting quick speed slamming into its targets still tumbling form before exploding with enormous force and hurling her away into the ground with bone crushing force. He was playing with us from the start… was the last thing she had time to think before she was slammed into the ground and unconsciousness.
Cipher wasted no time and having dispatched the pair he rapidly altered coruse and hurtled back toward his initial target while Felix quickly fell in above, behind, and to his left. Defensive fire from the ship redoubled now and took on an air of desperation as everything even the heavy guns with almost no chance of hitting them opened fire in a massed barrage to try and drive them off. The two mages made what evasive maneuvers they could but relayed mainly on forward aligned shields to absorb the impacts as they bore in on a hanger on the ships starboard side.
“Burner Rush!” Cipher kicked it into overdrive as he approached and hurtled forward on his boost spell. Simultaneously he formed a fairly large ball of magical energy at the tip of his device which triggered itself on impact directing its full force forward and blowing the huge double doors inward off their hinges as panicked crew scrambled to try and find cover from the multi ton slabs inward collapse.
“Oh god it’s the demon, he’ll kill us all!” One man screamed in panic as he IDed the attacker slowly emerging from the smoke floating a few feet off the floor. Nearly everyone present now entered full blown panic mode and began screaming and attempting to flee to anywhere BUT here. Felix followed through the breech several seconds later and surveyed the scene of abject panic and terror.
“Well you sure as hell know how to make an entrance I gotta give you that.” He mumbled.
“Head aft, the engines are bound to be their, destroy them. I’m going to the bridge to have a chat with the command staff and find out just what their problem with us is.”
“Sounds like a plan I’ll call you when I’m getting ready to blow this thing, be careful man.”
“I’ll be fine, you should follow your own advice though.”
“Probably, still felt the need to say it, and I’m always careful, and cowardly, why I’m still alive.”
“It’s a funny definition of cowardice that involves boarding enemy warships through a hail of cannon fire…” Cipher observed.
“Yeah well… We all have our senior moments; really this entire job has turned out to be one of them, but we should get going. The sooner we end this the sooner I can get off this rock.” Felix mumbled absently and quickly changed the subject.
“You’re not nearly as terrible as you try to make yourself out to be you know.” Cipher commented as the other man lifted off again and moved off.
“Not listening!” Felix shouted back as he disappeared around a corner
“Idiot.” Cipher chuckled to himself before sobering up and heading off in the opposite direction.
===============
“They’re aboard the ship! Dammit you need to do something!” The captain growled at the man sitting quietly in a chair off to the side of the bridge.
“I don’t need to do anything, in fact this operation has already more then served its purpose. The loss of the ship so soon is unfortunate, but it’s fairly rapid destruction was planned for from the start.” Pixy shrugged as he rose and moved toward a nearby hatch. “In any case I’m not ready to face him it’s just not time, not quite yet.” He added somewhat cryptically.
“So after sitting out this entire battle you’re just going to leave us here and flee, you god damn traitorous coward!” The Captain screamed as drew his sidearm and blocked the exit.
“I’d put that away if you at least want to die with some dignity.” Pixy hissed back.
“Go fight that damn enemy mage or I’ll kill you myself!”
Pixy snorted and suppressed a laugh. “You kill me?” He suppressed another laugh but then became deadly serious. “This is your last chance put that toy away and move aside.”
The Captain instead was opening his mouth to continue his triad, but he never got the chance. Pixy lashed out like a viper and grabbed his throat and wrist with either hand. He then twisted the later in such a way as to easily break it and the gun clattered to the ground while he simultaneously hefted the man off his feet via his death grip on the throat. His victims frantic flailing proved useless and he was quickly being choked into unconscious. “I gave you a chance to go down with the ship and some dignity, but if you’re so eager to die then be my guest.” Pixy hissed as he squeezed tighter and with a rather sickening sound he crushed the man’s larynx dropping the heaving and soon to be dead officer to the deck.
Honestly to have to associate with such weak… scum, it was beneath him, but sadly he needed these mindless stooges if his plan was to come to fruition. The ground work had been laid and it was nearly ready, but not quite and he couldn’t be caught here, he wasn’t ready for the showdown he knew was coming quite yet. He turned his gaze back toward
the remaining bridge crew who had watched the confrontation in stunned silence now tried to shrink down into their chairs in terror of the man surveying them. He pondered what to do with them for several seconds but then concluded that many of them knew just enough to be dangerous. Oh well it was unlikely they’d have gotten out in any case...
======================
Cipher heard an explosion ahead of him and quickened his pace; he arrived at the bridge only about 30 seconds afterwards and burst inside, but found only a ruin. The entire front of the room was blown out showing open sky and letting cold mountain air assault his skin, worse everyone inside was dead.
Captain I’m almost at the reactor, but enemy security teams are starting to get their shit together I’m going to need to do this now! Felix’s transmission was tinged with real urgency and Cipher couldn’t ask him to try and hold out while he randomly searched the ship for someone that might know something.
“I’m heading out, do it.”
Alright I’m blowing this thing and getting the hell out a dodge!
Cipher quickly moved to and hopped out of the breech at the front of the bridge and took flight again. About 30 seconds as he watched from a few thousand feet above a number of explosions began ripping through the aft portion of the ship and a few seconds after that Felix shot out through one of them and back into the open air as the vessel began to slump at the rear and fell from the sky in seeming slow motion.
“Payback is a bitch isn’t assholes?” Felix announced contemptuously as he watched the ship fall to earth the flames spreading to now almost totally engulf the entire aft section. As it impacted in a valley floor below the crash was easily audible even from thousands of feet up and a massive cloud of snow was thrown out in all directions at impact as the ship proceeded to break in half at the keel and slide down the mountain side as part of an enormous avalanche all the while burning the entire time.
Suddenly though a wideband mental transmission caught this attention, but what he was receiving made no sense. “ -.-- --- / -... ..- -.. -.. -.-- --..-- / ... - .. .-.. .-.. / .- .-.. .. ...- . ..--..” What the hell is that?!
In fact only one person present, and the intended receiver, had any idea what it meant and he was none to pleased by it…
===================
“You blew up a spaceship?”
“It was pretty low tech. Being locally built from scavenged bits and pieces and was meant to be a secret weapon, but like most such things it wasn’t finished in time and mostly ended up being a huge waste of money. Those seemingly unrelated thefts I mentioned earlier we later learned were aimed at getting the last few key bits to finish it. The TSAB helped that along greatly by being nice enough to set up several supply depots on the planet with the needed parts, and guarding them poorly, figuring no would have any use for spare starship components on a planet with starships… Can’t blame them to much for that one though, I don’t see how they could have seen it coming.
"Anyway all and the ship was pretty crude, anything bigger then a naval corvette would have stomped it, but it was good enough to bomb some airbases in a surprise attack and it drew most of the attention away from the main event, which ultimately seems to have been the goal, I’m not sure the crew was informed of this key fact though… It couldn’t have been a nicer bunch though most of the guys, well the ones whose bodies we could ID anyway, had pretty huge rap sheets with the majority of them being pirates of various sorts, its doubtful anyone mourned their passing much. ”
"Piracy in the sector acutally went down for several years afterwards… Anyway we couldn’t really figure out why a bunch of pirates would randomly attack us, but Cipher seemed to have a bug up his butt all the sudden after the mission. Most of us expected to fly to another base and celebrate our success, but he had other ideas he has us form back up and we needed out east toward the round table. He wouldn’t say why, just said he had a feeling. Those feelings of his always were trouble… "

Zero Pt.2
12 pages and 5,000 words?! Shit I should just make this a fic and get it over with!
Noted.

[SPOILER-"Ep 26 spoilers"]
[/SPOILER]
The reason why this is in debate is because there's no follow up before this (though there will be one) and because I'm generally unsure of the validity of this piece. It -is- AU, therefore V facing down Scaglietti and not Fate (although I still have to figure out how that switch will fully work) is reasonable without me getting blasted by the Ion Canon, but I still hold doubts.
Note that this is, as with most of my pieces, only a prototype segment. I also feel that I didn't capture Nanoha's overall persona in situations like the one depicted. IBut I'll leave that up to you to decide.
A masterful ending!
Though I doubt anything Nanoha can dish out could destroy the Cradle. Heck, Hayate, being an SS class nuker said that it can't be dealt with simply by mages...
