That was one of the funnier Bleach chapters I've read in a while... oh wait, that was supposed to be serious drama, wasn't it?

Figures that Ichigo's bankai would be instantly broken, not that I expected Ichigo to accomplish anything (not like he ever succeeds at much in this series, Grimmjaw and Ginjou might be his last significant solo wins). I was expecting things to drag out with another "Ban kai getsuga tensho" which wouldn't do any damage, but even by Bleach standards, this was lazy with how quickly Ichigo failed.

Now just have to wait for the more competent characters like Aizen or Urahara (maybe Ryuuken or Isshin) to save the day, as usual.

before his 'B'....

I don't think he would bother using it unless as a last resort. I'm sure he considers it beneath him. In fact I wouldn't be too surprised if he had already handed it off to someone else, though we're down to there not being too many people left who that could be...

Wanting to know the past is the only thing that keep me stilll reading, that and the fathers, it is pretty bad when there someone who want the fathers to be the main character of the series and one of the things that keep me reading.

It's totally their fault, quincies were humans after all and they die when they are killed, going to soul society and infesting the streets with their...souls(?). Mayuri knew what he was doing back in the day
