I am not sure this counts as silly, but I find it pretty odd
15 States including Texas have filed a petition to secede from the United States I am not sure what they're really hoping this would accomplish, not to mention even if it got enough petitioners, it would require a special election vote, and would pretty unlikely to pass in most states.
