The noble youth of madness is finally about to fight seriously for the first time in the series. I am super hyped.

Holy crap Zura on the last panel. I may start calling him Katsura now.

Oooh, we finally get to see Zura fight seriously. His style is definitely more refined than Gin and Takasugi's free-for-all dirty fighting... I thought. Then he threw a bomb.

That last page though -- when did you get so manly, Zura?

And that exchange between the monkey and Zura. So damn true. Sorachi is totally messing with Kubo right there. He's just not stating it outright.

Zura demanding respect? The sky is falling! The manga is ending! T-T

^If the past 2 arcs didn't give the smell of an end nearing, then Zura demanding respect will!

Looks like Shogun Assassination Arc will begin in December for the anime

Really hope that they don't skip the Ikumatsu arc...

So, with this announcement, which arcs are potentially skipped? Hope someone can share a list (maybe with spoiler tags just in case). If you can provide the chapter numbers, that will be great.

Once that starts, I think I'll just find those skipped chapters and read them.

Only three episodes to go... It's pretty much a given that they're going to skip it. :/ Although... Maybe they might try to slide something in while the Yorozuya are in Akihabara, just to lighten the depressing tone we're going to get. It would be inappropriate to animate most of the arcs that remain at that point, but they could try to squeeze in the Ikumatsu arc there...

Well, I wonder if they are going to use those unadapted chapters as a kind of filler material between the three serious arcs. You know, just so that the despair doesn't keep piling up.

That's what I was thinking they might be doing.

I want to see some of them animated too, but I don't mind if they're going to sprinkle it in between as filler or not do it till later on since I really want to see Shogun Assassination and Farewell, Shinsengumi animated. I'm excited they're finally heading into it, but sad at the same time since this might indicate Gintama is definitely heading for the end soon.

I accidentally saw a headshot of little Zura from the 563 raw. Ugh, I refuse to spoil myself, and now the wait is killing me. I can't get any work done with these anticipatory feelings. :/

So, when Katsuraa no longer in general position, he become Zura?

Apparently. Zura unveiled at last!

Man, the chapters lately are feeling so short. Probably because I'm so used to Gintama's shit ton of dialogue each chapter, and now we're getting so many fight scenes in place of that.

The origin of Zura's nickname is finally revealed. And it turns out he was secretly the strongest Joui 4 all along!

Zura had it tough. And just when I say I'll start calling him Katsura out of respect, he ends up declaring "It's not Katsura, It's Zura!!!" The sky is falling.

Watching Zura fight on equal terms with Neptune is great.

I nominate the 5th man for the strongest.

Kanon was nominating Zura for strongest of the Joui 4. Naturally, Kurokono is in a league of his own, so we like to leave him out of these things.

Holy shit. That fight was awesome. Zura showed no mercy against Neptune. That final clash was intense and was relieved to see Zura standing since I thought he was going to die.

Also, good to see Neptune have respect for him and call the defeat.

Always good to see flashbacks of when they were kids. Even though it was already known, it's nice to Zura's view on it. Those three really are brothers to the end.

That was a short yet awesome fight. Just the right length too, any longer and we will lose track of the story.

Next up, Mr Loudmouth, I guess. Have a feeling it will be Mutsu and him fighting together, with his idiocy bringing them to victory.

Spoiler:

No way he was going to die before they all reunite again.

Holy crap Zura. I can't wait to see this fight animated, assuming it ever will be.
