...no, she's not that kind of girl. I'd dare say her work ethic is a lot better than mine, in fact. Besides, she does need an S-pass to stay here at the moment.

Who here likes to dance? Who here hates dancing? Who here likes to dance, but they know they're terrible at it? If you like dancing, what kind of music do you feel comfortable dancing to? What kind of music do you not feel comfortable dancing to?

Waltz is like the only dance I know. I don't think that knowledge and ability will be useful 98% of the time.

Salsa, rumba, tango, waltz, cha cha, bachata, samba and a few traditionals. Hate freestyling though, I just need to have a choreography at the ready...

I've never learned personally, though once upon a time I had an interest in ballroom dancing.

Why don't she apply for PR? Unless her pay is over 2k per month, I don't see the reason for any foreigner not to do so (income tax).

It seems that the rules have been changed since the elections, and is apparently still more difficult than it used to be. I think she needs to work here for a set amount of time, but I can't quite recall how long exactly...

I am not sure myself too. It used to be 2 years I think, and they are trying to extend it to 5 but the rules aren't in place yet.

So long as she doesn't try to marry you just to get a Singaporean citizenship, then break with you, I am fine. Otherwise, I'd be the first to call a red card.

Is as natural to me as breathing, it's also a part of my life as is music since I was a baby.
(This is thanks to my non-Western side)

As for what kind, well freestyle to anything, mainly urban I guess for starters. Gone are the days of the 90s where us school kids would listen to pop and pratice/swap moves in the playground or mimic what we saw in music videos.
Others were at birthday parties, where the adults would set up 'dance comps' and actually award decent amount of money for the winner, so we competed, lol.

All that has led to me moving naturally, if I hear a good beat, my body will respond.
Semi pro wise, I've practiced/tried all kinds
Haven't done anything serious since I've come back to Japan (sadly) but getting back into the groove of things since April now. Need to kep my stamina up though >.>

Dating wise though, I wouldn't go to a club.
Clubbing for me is to get fit, relieve stress and lose myself in the music

Don't mind dancing, but:

A) I hate most Dance clubs, the music is too loud.
B) The music I like is... unconventional.
C) I would probably enjoy dancing more as an activity with a girlfriend, but doing it on my own for any kind of extended period holds little appeal.
D) If a wedding or something comes up I might dance a bit, but I certainly wouldn't want to dance particularly more often then that. Max once a month.

I don't really care to dance, to be honest. But I've certainly done it when I wanted to or needed to. I can't really say how good I am at it though, especially since I'm pretty comfortable dancing to anything.

The Waltz is the only dance I'm really good with, and I'm completely comfortable with that.

I can't dance, and make no attempt to do so unless large quantities of alcohol are consumed.

Just a box step and waltz, but I'm not that good and I can't lead.
