That's a shame because as I said in the past, when I started reading I genuinely thought I was going to like it.

I started reading it weekly at the end of the movie arc, where I genuinely believed it's close to ending, so it wouldn't hurt to follow for the remaining seralization. 160 chapters later the ending is still not in sight. I simply want a good dropping point by now.
Which brings me to a topic I'm curious about. Whether Kazuya stays in with Chizuru or not is irrelevant to me. What I'm curious about is that do people expect Chizuru to confess to him and initiate and actual relationship at the end of the arc or not? I expect more blueballing for whatever reasons, be it Kazuya fucking things up or the author pulling one of the female love interests out of the drawer to call out Chizuru's hypocrisy. It would legitimately surprise me if after so much time Chizuru would simply accept his love and stop being an indecisive robot. |

Chapter 315
Among other things that makes him pathetic, why the fuck after 300+ fucking chapters there still is a need for Kazuya to yell just to make the point that he is being serious? Then again, the guy can't even manage a proper conversation in his head... This pattern. Reiji seriously has a thing against working women.

I don't know if its a Japan thing or an otaku thing but I rage at eroge fairly often when the ending is the ambitious chick settling down in the end; they really love their housewives. I'd guess its 75% when/if this series actually ends we get a flash forward to Chiz retired from acting and pushing out little carrots.

Mami looks completely dead on the inside. You figure as the series' "antagonist" her misfortune would be more fun to watch, but it's incredibly depressing. Instead of just writing her out, the author keeps showing her misery like a sadist...

I'm sort of impressed people are still reading this dogshit series... I heard about Mami making an appearance and skimmed a few chapters only to instantly regret it. I still think she's due for some kind of redeption arc but that aside... Chizuru is the one that emptied his bank account, ghosted him for months, and has been giving him the runaround with her 'investigation' for god knows how long at this point. This is pretty clearly one of those "story villain vs actual villain" situations.

I looked at the latest chapter to see if this thing has finally ended (spoiler alert: it didn't).
I don't have all the context, but apparently Mizuhara agreed to go to a real date with Kazuya, and he's currently doing a dry run of the date with Yaemori. The chapter is titled The boyfriend and the date 19, so it seems the author somehow was able to drag the planning of a date for 5 months. Yet I'm sure that if the date really happens, it will kead to nothing. The chapter also seems to imply that Yaemori might have feelings for Kazuya.
