Tsukasa looks a bit more confident than usual in that pic.

Nice write-up TRE. I think you're giving Tsukasa a bit too much credit, though. Beating all those fancy opponents may lead to her getting revenge-voted. But then again, Kagami has been beating popular characters yet she still dominates everyone. Hina hasn't really faced any major players yet, so it's hard to gauge her real strength. As for anti-KyoAni/anti-Lucky Star votes for Hina, judging by the number of votes recently, it looks like most have abandoned Saimoe already. Out of those remaining, will they be enough to push Hina over the line against Tsukasa?

My prediction:

I can't split the two so I'll perform a coin toss. Heads for Hina, Tails for Tsukasa. Hey, the initials match.

It's heads, so Hina to win.

As of this moment there are three underlying subplots remaining in the tournament:

- Kagami's untouchable dominance in her matches against quality opponents;
- Tsukasa's quest to overcome her sister who always seems to be a step ahead of her; and
- Hinagiku trying to overcome the tall odds stacked against her against the KyoAni legion.

Of course I prefer the last one (lol bias)

It's now or never, go go Hinagiku!

Last match

Well, I expected Kagami to dominate and she did indeed. Nagisa was definitely weak so there was no chance even with the Clannad faction hate against Kagami, it wasn't enough. Congratulations, Kagami for making it to the finals!

I refuse to let a same series final happen. It's just... totally kill how awesome this Saimoe was with my characters making it much farther this year than the last. Especially, Hinagiku. Hopefully, Hinagiku is at an advantage for Kagami winning, but on the downside, I expecte heavy foreign votes for Tsukasa mainly because so many people have not seen Hayate no Gotoku. What's even worse is that if Hinagiku looks like she's winning on the interim counts, she's probably not since she's been heavily fake voted.

Anyways, the normal spiel about why Hinagiku is awesome: her personality is what makes her moe. The fact that she's a tsundere, yet is completely non-degrading or violent to her love interest is very different from what we're used to. Furthermore, she tries so hard to perfect yet succumbs to these tiny flaws like fear of flying and fear of heights. Also Itou Shizuka has such a cute voice for her.

Anyways, more pictures to come later. I has class.
