More of Lowe's IMAGE TIME
This image so impressed me for some reason because it fit my latest side character so well that I couldn't help but to post it wholesale. And, it's from a non-anime source Everything from the demeanor, to the face, to even the voice is a perfect fit!
He's a character who figured in my last Arc, but never really touched upon... yet *whistles*
Spoiler for Dr. Allen Turing:
"I am God."

LOL Nice choice though... He's awesome.

or is it just a bar graph or something?
@Thread: I'm thinking of creating a character who uses a tome that can cast that spell once its name has been written on it.
e.g.
You write Divine Buster on the tome and it casts it.
They cannot "steal" melee spells or spells that requires a weapon transformation. e.g. Storm falcon, Swallow Flier, it can only copy spells like photon lancer, divine buster, starlight breaker, diabolic emission
I was thinking of making one for offensive spells only and one for defensive/healing spells, 2 different tomes
Idea from Death Note
How about the user has to write the name of the victim first, and then the action? He could then write:
LoweGear -- Will be pwned by STARLIGHT BREAKER as soon as he comes back online.
Kha -- Next time he talks to a girl, he will be struck by PLASMA ZAMBER BREAKER.
Keroko-chan -- Next time she encounters a guy, she will go TSUN-TSUN... ( Wait...that's not a spell...)

"Just as I thought, it's you..."
"What's with that tone?"
"Nothing, I'm just surprised that's all... It's been nearly five years..."
"You didn't think I actually died right?"
Erio shook his head.
"No, I know you too well."
"Heh, you always were the brightest of the lot," Jeno reminisced as he looked out the windshield from the driver's seat.
"Thanks." Erio replied, resting his chin on his palm as he looked out the back seat windows.
"Even back then, I could already see the potential in you... A darkness in you that the others didn't have..."
"..."
"On a more scientific view, it was very rare to come across an excellent specimen from a cloning project..."
"F..."
Jeno nodded.
"I was taken away from my family, brought to an unknown room, gone through numberous experiments... Being treated as nothing but a 'subject'." Erio accounted briefly. "I remember all of that... I remember meeting you."
"Like coming face to face with a monster huh?"
"I don't know... But I knew I wasn't afraid."
"That's right," Jeno smirked. "You were strong... Or at least stronger than the others..."
"I don't know about that," Erio admitted. "I was actually more curious to be honest... Curious as to why you where in a place like this? Why were you the only one who was different?"
"Can't blame ya, I never did brought it up..."
Jeno took a trip down memory lane.
"It was my first project, I was told to supervised a black project funded by my bosses... To create artificial super mages using a simple symbiotic magic program installed into their bodies."
"We've acquired many children for this purpose, you were one of them. However, the programs themselves were being very picky, so we had to make educated guesses as to which kid to use."
"My gambled paid off... Against all scientific results and predictions, you became the first 'Dark Moon' Carrier."
"'Dark moon'?"
"It's the code name for the program."
"Why me?"
"Because unlike the others, undernearth all those boring despair, you were the only one who desired strength. It's not a very strong feeling, but it was enough for me."
"Unfortunately, the program was alot less in effective than what we had originally intended, we could not recreate superhuman powers and skills. Hell, your personality probably didn't even change..."
"And even then, the rate of successful comparability is one in a thousand. In fact, you were had the best results out of all of them. Unfortunately, that alone isn't redeeming enough."
"So the project was drop?"
"Right, and I sealed the program inside of you into another dimension."
Jeno gave the boy a minute to like it swirl in his head...
"I'm surprised, I thought you'll go ballistic by now..."
"I'm just used to it coming from you that's all... I had already suspected what you were doing, from all those time you were at the facility..."
"Do you hate me?"
"I don't know... I thank you for giving me power back then, but at the same time, I despise you for what you're doing... But tell me this, what was I to you?"
Jeno shrugged.
"There is only one answer; You're cannot be a brother to me... I only had one brother in my life, and he's dead. I refuse to accept you as a son, for personal reasons. And you definitely cannot be a friend, you're too weak."
"You're a toy, just like how I am someone elses toy..."
"..."
The two of them fell silent again, before Erio decided to wrap this up.
"Why are you telling me all this? Now, after five years? Why are you back?"
Jeno thought he was never going to ask.
"Something's going to happen... Something big..."
Erio looked at him. "Are you-?"
Jeno shake his head.
"Then...?"
"I don't know the details, but something's definitely up... Someone is going to do something very bad," Jeno continued.
"What does this have to do with me?"
Jeno took a moment for dramatic atmosphere.
"I'm going to release the program in you."
"WHAT?!"
"Don't worry, all it'll do is to increase your skill potential... How far you can really go, is up to you..."
"...Why?"
"Sentimential reasons. You're all that remains of my first project... I just want to see how right was I in my gamble."
"Just think of this meeting as an early storm warning for 'old times' sake... It's about time for you to go anyway..."
Erio opened the door.
"Emm..."
"Hmm?"
"...Thanks."
"Just stay alive."
When the boy had left, Jeno opened up a screen, on it has Fate's profile.
"Fate Testarossa Haralown..." Jeno raised a brow, amused. "Little Chrono sure knows how to pick them eh?"

Not counting the CC's in the diagram, that's gonna be a VERY BIG CHART.
If we're gonna do this, we should first estalbish the relationships between the OC's of each user, to form one node for relations, then connect the various nodes together to form the giant chart. That way, all of use actually contribute, rather than one member trying to determine the overall relationship picture and ending up getting lost
Might not be such a bad thing... but it'd be a lot of work.

- Aurion is a standalone OC with links that bypass the Aces; He'll have to be placed outside the central node.
- There are some OCs that are either in AU situations, or have no contact with anyone else save direct contact through the Aces.
- Other than that, most OCs have more links within users than outside, so if it were possible, it would be feasible to have the 5 Aces in the center, then group the rest according to Userid. Since I have created OCs that were meant to interact with other OCs, I'd rather these other OCs of mine be listed with the target user's OCs.
- Just linking a user's main OCs should do. If not, people with 30 over OCs, like DT and me, will crowd out everyone else.
- Create separate nets for separate timelines, cos the only OC connecting the timelines is the various versions of Kha and Kluize (Boy this looks soooooo bad. )

And, for all who are interested, here's some more of Time Goes By.
Spoiler for Time Goes By- Segment:
The sole Number remained silent in the face of the man's question. The latter character bowed his head in what appeared to be sorrow, and laughed, dryly.
"You still choose to hound me, hang over me like a curse..." He paused, solemnly. "And I know that you would be elated to see me as nothing more than a rotting carcass at your feet. Yet...what good would it do you?"
Cinque's face bore a look of sheer disgust. "V...", she spat, her tone poisonous, speaking volumes to the saddened soul viewing her. "You didn't think that what you did would be easily forgotten, discarded as a mere afterthought...did you?"
V showed no element of shock or lack of understanding in his response. "Of course I didn't. No-one shelves a memory of seeing loved ones perish, after all..." The masked man heard her curse under her breath, audibly, at this statement. "But," he continued, "about my question...what fulfillment would revenge offer you?"
"It would do more than enough for me...and aren't those words ironic, coming from you?" The girl drew a set of knives from beneath her coat. "Saying that revenge is worthless, yet you sought nothing but that?"
"That was in the past", V retorted. "And back then I was blinded." Cinque scoffed, but V carried on nonetheless. "My lust for exacting retribution was what drove me, what empowered me."
He was attempting to reach out for the platinum-haired figure who faced him, trying to convince her. "I remember the moment after I made the Doctor pass from this mortal plane...and in that time afterwards I felt nothing. No reward, no satisfaction, no prize. Revenge is void, Cinque."
Shaking her head in refusal to his words, Cinque's rebuke was an outburst. "Void?" She glanced quickly at the marble graves by the man's feet on either side of him. "If they were here..." She glared at the once-killer, vehemently. "If they were here, they would've said otherwise!"
"So, even now...you still believe that your one purpose is to fight", V mused, disdainfully. "It's purpose that's bound you, isn't it? Your driving force towards finding me was purpose. You still think that you must fight on...eradicate all who dare stand in your way who were considered to be foes of your 'father' Powered by purpose...by vengeful thinking. Although..." He stopped momentarily. "Your phrase holds truth."
He turned away from the girl, to her anger, and stated, "Yes...maybe they would have agreed with you. If I had exacted harm on any of your other sisters, the decision to hunt me down would have been unanimous, and no doubt you would all be out to get me for the Doctor's death. But the following comes from a being who was fixated on spilling blood in the name of payback...there is no victory achieved by accomplishing a vendetta."
Cinque looked perplexed suddenly, her voice tinged with an air of confusion. "What do you mean?"
V sighed, in sorrowful resignation. "What I mean is...you gain nothing. I planned my scheme for five years. Five long, arduous, painful years, hoping to bring the most well-thought punishment to that scientist. When I killed him, and as I layed my eyes on his lifeless corpse, I felt...empty. As if I had achieved no objective whatsoever. I felt hollow...oh, heavens above, so hollow, and all because I thought vengeance had a reason."
He whirled round to face the cyborg again, and took a handful of paces forward. "I sought my goal in the name of those he took from me, just as you are seeking to kill me in the name of those I stole away from you. I was pushed to the brink of madness, my rational thought almost damaged beyond repair, and when at last, I had done it, nothing came back to me. My life didn't return to what it once was- I was still a killer, I still am a killer, and I am devoid of those who I loved dearly. Simply put..."
His tone was pleading now, yet unwavering.
"What you seek to accomplish will not bring them back."
He saw Cinque recoil at this, her voice reduced to a ghostly shaking whisper. "Urusai..."
"Killing does nothing- and only now do I regret my actions. I have lamented for taking their lives, but you must understand..."
Cinque's tone began to rise now, sounding harsher. "Urusai...!"
"However..." V resumed his speech, not taking heed of the eye-patched one's mutterings. "If you remain so devotedly loyal to your conviction, in spite of the futility of that which you yearn for..."
"URUSAI!"
V was silenced shortly by the bellow that Cinque produced. He then stepped backwards, and let his hands hang limp at his sides. "Then do it."
He was met with hesitation from the Number. "What is there to fear? I am but a broken man. What harm could I possibly do, hm?"
After another pause, the stillness seemingly blanketing the area, he was met with an unearthly hum as yellow IS circles formed around the hilts of the blades that she held.
"IS...hatsudou..." she uttered, her voice wracked with fury.
Yet still she didn't commence her movement. V tilted his head sideways, at odds. "What's this? Hesitance? Odd for a senior such as yourself."
Cinque grimaced and drew her hand back at this, preparing to hurl the projectiles she carried- but was halted by V once more.
"Good...but there is one problem." He lifted a hand, and pointed at Cinque, then back at himself. "You're not a murderer, like me. Therefore, you'll find it harder to bring yourself to terminate by existence." He raised his head. "Thusly," he exclaimed, "the question lingers, that being...
...can you prove to me...prove to me, as a senior, that you're experienced?"
Eh, pretty long segment...
I'm uncertain about the cohesion in some parts of this piece...but, it can be rectified if there are problems. Do tell me what you think, fellow readers.

"Thusly," he exclaimed, "the question lingers, that being...
...can you do it?"
Eh, pretty long segment...
I'm uncertain about the cohesion in some parts of this piece...but, it can be rectified if there are problems. Do tell me what you think, fellow readers.
No matter how beatifull it is, the ending screams 'Ion Cannon Target'
Unless this is an alternate reallity in which Cinque never killed Zest.
I know Cinque killed Zest, but who's to say that she's killed more than V has? For her, dealing with Zest was a task- for V, killing is practically second nature. Cinque could very well have trouble bringing herself to do what she seeks to do, just saying here.

Yes, but it makes V's last sentence pretty void. Task or no task, murder is still murder.
[Kyonichi]<sighs>[/Kyonichi] I'm starting to agree with Tk3997 here - weaving the chars in and out of canon events is getting tiresome. If there IS an S4, then I think we need to make our own AU timeline. If not, then no problem.
TK3997: Excellent… all is going as I have foreseen it and the corruption spreads! Soon, very soon the quest to maintain canon will be but a distant memory… MUHAHAHAH!!! Flunky: My lord some of the rebels have gotten into the AU generator!!! TK3997: Oh shi---
More in depth posts later tonight and hopefully Teh Fight Scene!!! Sometime this weekend.
Well, I decided to end this chapter with this part, so here goes!
Spoiler for Courage - Part 5:
Unaware of Yui's plan, Quattro continued her 'bullying'
[Uhu~ Have you finished praying? Then, which part of your body would you like me to begin with?]
At that moment, a message appeared on her screen.
"What's this? A concentration of magic rapidly growing?" She opened a visual and saw Hayate getting ready for a big spell.
"It's that crazy girl from before, what is she up to?" She smirked, "Don't think I'll let you do as you please."
The Drones that were free were ordered to attack Hayate.
"Heh..." Hayate smirked. "Do you think I'd let such an opening?"
As the Drones approached her, they were caught in crossed fire, and quickly disposed of.
"Yagami-san, concentrate on the spell, we'll deal with the Drones!" A Clerk said signaling his comrades.
"Thanks." Hayate smiled and turned to the spell being casted.
"Stars, gather before me..." The sphere in front of her began growing, drawing magic from the air.
"...and become the light which pierces everything."
Sensing it, Yui smiled, "Good choice, Hayate-nee." and put herself in position, "I should start mine as well."
"Ruler of Asgard, leader of the Aesir, Odin..." A Belka circle appeared under her.
"Lend me the strength of your peerless spear, the Unwavering One..."
Back to Quattro, "She's up to something too...just what do they---" Then it hit her, "No Way!"
Just then, Hayate finished her spell, "Tear through everything in a blaze of light!"
"Starlight...BREAKER!!!" and with Schwertkreuz, launched the enourmous spell at the cluster of Drones.
At the moment of impact the Drones were crushed by the sheer force of the spell and the dome itself started cracking.
"NOW!" Yui shouted. "Come forth! Gungnir!"
As the spell was finished, Undine began glowing, [Power Boost Received]
Yui's wings spead widely, "Pierce through my enemy!" She pointed Undine at the Type-4. [Gungnir Strike!] Undine announced, and Yui charged at the Drone.
"Like I'll let you!!!" Quattro was about to command it to attack when Starlight Breaker pierced through the dome.
Even being showered by the massive attack, Yui didn't flinch, headed straight to her target, finally piercing through it and escaping SLB simultaneously.
As its outer shell exploded, the drone's main body tried to escape, "You're not getting away!!" She shouted as dashed at it.
Blocking with an AMF, the Type-4 tried to defend itself, but the spearhead pierced through the field and stabbed it.
"Tenshou...ZAN!!!" Yui finished it off with a rising slash.
The lifeless drone descendend before exploding, and Yui, covered in scratches, with great part of her armor gone, panted heavily as her sight began to blur.
"...We..did it...Undine..." Her wings began shrink to fade until she fainted.
"Yui!" Hayate grabbed her in time, held Yui close to her and checked her condition, "She'll be fine..." Hayate smiled.
Spoiler for Hayate & Yui:
Then she sighed "Really...You're just as crazy as Fate-chan and Nanoha-chan." Hayate playfully scolded Yui.
----------------------------
Meanwhile, inside the Cradle...
"Ksh!" Nanoha rubbed her nose, "Am I catching a cold?" She blinked.
Quattro watched Hayate as she carried Yui, "That girl is insane, pulling such a stunt."
"But for an appetiser...it was amusing." She commented.
Turning to another display, she watched as Nanoha used Strike Flame to deal with the blockade of Drones.
"The real fun is just about to begin..."
Diece appeared on the screen and reported the situation, "It's no good, Quattro, I can't handle her."
"That's as we thought." Quattro paused and looked at Vivio, sitting on the throne.
"She's going to die here, in the Throne Room."
She watched the other displays, showing the Subaru, Teana, Caro and Erio in their own battles, "They're all doing better than we thought..."
"...but it's just a matter of time." She smirked, "We just have to stand here and wait."
[The Cradle will reach orbit in: 1 hour and 44 minutes]
----------------------------
Sorry, no drawing this time...unless you wanted a drawing of Hayate carrying Yui
And Yui wins!
Now to explain the attacks she used...
Spoiler for Yui's attacks:
Gungnir Strike: Summons the legendayr spear, Gungnir, that always hit its mark.
The spell envelops the user in a field that increases endurance towards damage so that he/she can charge through nearly anything, even if the caster is knocked out, the weapon used will continue in its course to hit the designated target.
Tenshouzan: Not really a spell, but a technique *cough*'borrowed' from Rockman Zero 2 *cough*
It consists in a rising slash, the name itself means "Heaven Rising Slash" (rough translation )
Also, omg at Hayate...
Well, I assume that is possible, since she used Diabolic Emission in the first Numbers encounter
Well, that's it for Chapter 17, now to work on Chapter 18...I think I'll call it "Resolve"
TK3997: Excellent… all is going as I have foreseen it and the corruption spreads! Soon, very soon the quest to maintain canon will be but a distant memory… MUHAHAHAH!!! Flunky: My lord some of the rebels have gotten into the AU generator!!! TK3997: Oh shi---
*Juggling a thermal detonator* Amazing what just one of these can do to even the biggest weapons. Now, back to intergrating into canon.

Gungnir? So Yui summoned Tesla's device? For a moment I could see Yui using Sturmzeichen on the drone.
And a drawing of Hayate carying Yui would be very much welcomed. If only for the sheer adorableness.
Basic Details Name: Itsuki Gender: Male Birthday: 24 November Home World: Earth (Non-administrated world 97) Age: 23 (MC 0078)
Physical Attributes
Height: 182cm Weight: 70 kilos Eye colour: Black Hair colour: Black
Mage information
Rank: 2nd class Lieutenant, Captain of Covert Operations team Affiliations: Time-space Administration Bureau, 1039th air force unit Combat type: melee Position: Guard Wing Magic system: Neo-Belka type Official Mage Rank: Synthetic AAA+ Colour of spell sigils: Dark Blue Specialization: High-speed hit and run combat Usual garb/wear: TSAB officer’s uniform (worn loosely)
Description: Itsuki looks like your typical Japanese male. He always has a relax look on his face, and is often seen napping under a tree with an open book over his face. His hair and eye colours are normal Asian features and he prefers it that way. He has a pouch where he normally keeps any book he is reading at the moment and it also stores a mirror, which he claims has more uses than merely making sure his hair is presentable enough, though it's not because he's vain or anything. This makes the other clerks wonder what the mirror is really for to which he normally replies “secret!”
Spoiler for What he looks like - 1:
History: Born on Earth’s Japan, Itsuki was orphaned not long after birth. His father supposedly left his mother, then pregnant with Itsuki, citing inability to finance and care for a family as the reason. His mother couldn’t afford to keep him either, so he was abandoned at an orphanage. Despite growing up to be a little touchy and emotional, he eventually accepted the circumstances that surrounded his life. Reading became a passion he picked up early in life, and visiting the library his habit.
It was on one such occasion when he stumbled upon an odd book that looked out of place in the library. Weird looking and bearing no title, it was a thick book with a air of mystery surrounding it, and was written in a language that Itsuki couldn’t recognize. It was well organized, with what seemed like a table of contents in the first page. The book itself had a lot of pictures, symbols, or diagrams, as well as what appeared to be a journal at the last section of the book.
Curiosity piqued, he decided that he would try reading it. Even if it is a foreign language, he'll just have to try to pick it up slowly, if just enough to help him get by reading the book. The contents of the book, as he slowly discovered, were nothing short of astounding. In fact, it was unbelievable to say the least. However, as he was still a kid (albeit a rather precocious one) he had always hold on to the believe that magical things and Santa Claus existed in real life.
The book described a world of magic, of planets other than his own, which had always been but mere fantasy to him. Itsuki wondered if it was some prank or merely a fictional book made to look like some kind of research on magic, for that is what it seemed to be (or at least seemed to be made that way), a research into magic.
“Lets find out if it is real.” he thought at that time, and since then he had entered into a realm many considered heretical. During that time that the Time Space Administration Bureau (TSAB) decided to scour the entire planet for individuals with magical potential, both to avoid any more incident like the Book of Darkness incident and to recruit new mages from a planet now acknowledge to “produce unusually powerful mages”. 16 months later, TSAB probation knight Signum of the Wolkenritter led a search within Japan’s Tohoku region.
It was to be a story of an encounter that will only come once in a life, as the search came to the remote neighbourhood where the orphanage Itsuki lived in is located. It was but a tiny tingle, but Signum felt the stirrings of magic, and found Itsuki trying out basic magic while hiding in a shed next the orphanage. He was trying to cast a simple barrier spell, when he was approach by the sword knight.
Strangely, Signum felt compelled to offer him an official invitation to the world of magic. “Would you like to come with me, to a place where you can learn much more?” That day, in that worn down shed, the boy looked up at the woman who saved him from a life of obscurity, the one who showed him the path to greater things, and the one he came to regard as a respected sister-figure. He took the offer, one he will never regret.
Personality/Habits and behaviour/Hobbies: He's generally nice, but has a bad habit of teasing people, especially girls. He comes across as a very laid back person, though he can be serious when called for.
He’s protective of his friends and cares a lot about them. However he never likes to have people fuss over him and would usually try to solve his problems on his own. He doesn’t like Jean calling treating him like a brother figure and calling him as such because he’s afraid that people would think he’s taking advantage of younger girls or are interested in them.
He insists that people call him “senior” or “sempai” when they are around him, as he dislikes formalities, seeing as he himself isn’t one to dispense with formalities. He addresses Signum as “Signum-nee” just like Vice, for indeed they both came up with this way of addressing her.
He has a bad habit of staying up late at night, spending hours on the computer; reading, watching anime from his home planet, and procrastinating on things he finds tedious. Another quirk he has is that he if often found staring into space sometimes, which indicates that he’s deep in thought.
Sometimes when he reads, he gets so engrossed in the book that he has to be shouted at to get his attention. He reads stories and fiction a lot and his favourite genre is fantasy. He has a tendency to think out loud even when he's alone.
Fighting style:
His main combat style can be described in 3-words, hit and run. It's not his style to block or defend any hits, but to dodge and deflect them whenever possible. Therefore, his combat style places a lot of emphasize on speed, and his skill with wielding his device.
If he needs a bit more range for his attacks, he can convert Oath Keeper to a mode that resembles a Japanese wakizashi.
Generally his battle tactic is to do hit and runs. Blast a bombardment shot from long range now and then if given time, throw a Black Nail from short range, or go in close with his speed and deal a damaging melee attack with Blast Impact or use his daggers.
He doesn’t shout battle cries in combat nor yell out the names of his attacks like most do. He finds that shouting in combat a waste of breath, and it goes against the idea of trying to keep the opponent unaware of his location as he does hit and runs.
Barrier Jacket:
Itsuki’s barrier jacket consists of a red shirt with a black vest worn over it, and black pants.
Device(s): Oath Keeper
Oath Keeper is his Intelligent Device with a rather high-level AI programmed, due to him being lazy and wanting more automated features. Itsuki uses his agility as his main battle asset, dexterously wielding his twin daggers with great proficiency. Oath Keeper also has a mode where it transforms into wakizashis. Both modes can be converted to a one-hand mode.
Storage mode: A platinum key-shaped trinket, which Itsuki hangs on his belt.
Oath Keeper: (dagger mode)
Oath Keeper is a pair of twin silver daggers. The daggers are each 1 feet long, the blade is a shiny silver with a hilt of an even shinier gold. The end of the hilt slides out to reveal a slide-in cartridge system similar to Vita’s Graf Eisen except it can only load 1 cartridge at a time, this isn’t a problem for Itsuki since he doesn’t really use cartridges very often unless he really needs to. Itsuki’s attacks do not normally require cartridges to be executed, however he can expend cartridges to increase the power of his offensive attacks or spells. Since he can only load one cartridge at a time for either of his daggers, he uses high calibre cartridges with high amount of compressed mana.
Oath Keeper: (wakizashi mode)
Oath Keeper in this mode transforms into wakizashis. One cartridge is used when changing into this mode, and the conversion is independent of each other. This means Itsuki can convert one dagger into a wakizashi while keeping the other as a dagger.
Spoiler for Spell list:
Offensive spells:
Howling Light: A spell that creates a blinding ray of light and roaring howl for a few seconds, temporarily blinding an opponent and affect their hearing, a great spell for many situations. It serves as a spell to gain momentary tactical advantage in combat, so it can be very useful. This spell is similar to Vita’s Iron Howl.
Black Nail: A spell that forms magical long swords. The long swords are thin and because it is formed by magic they are almost weightless. Designed to be used like throwing daggers.
Attack: C
Speed: A
Range: C
(The following spells are borrowed from Lowe)
Spoiler for ”Impulse spells”:
Force -
In martial combat, one requires physical strength and power to deliver the energy required for impact. The most basic spell for many Neo-Belkan practitioners, and also the easiest to learn, is the “Force” spell, which is a basic spell to externally enhance the wielder’s physical strength. This is achieved using a combination of external levitation (and in some cases, Midchilda-style Barrel Rings), which provide additional aid and support on a mage’s arms or legs. This grants a mage extra physical power in lifting heavy weapons, or further enhancing the power behind a strike.
Blast –
Another basic Neo-Belkan spell, “Blast” is a “static kinetic energy” spell applied at a weapon’s impact point, which multiplies the kinetic energy behind a physical blow without the requirement of adding extra momentum or mass. In combat this significantly improves the damage potential of a normally kinetically weak blow, like a punch.
Although the advantages are considerable, the Blast spell creates significant kinetic energy backlash at the item it is used on, whether a weapon or the mage itself. For this reason, application of this spell is most ideal on sturdy, blunt and dense objects with a large surface area on the impact point, like mallets, clubs and hammers, to better absorb and dissipate the backlash. Impact dissipation spells can also be applied to further reduce the backlash’s negative effects.
Sword –
The third of the basic spells, “Sword” is a “focus energy” spell, which enhances a cutting blade or piercing head by reinforcing the material integrity of the cutting area, and also by absorbing kinetic energy on impact and focusing it on the cutting edge. A blade enhanced by this spell can cut through extra-hard and reinforced objects with minimal effort, and this spell can be further enhanced by Force for improved results.
Blaze Cannon: Itsuki’s only shooting type spell in his arsenal, which he learned during his time at the training academy he attended. This spell’s predecessor is Chrono Harlaown’s own Blaze cannon, a standard shooting spell many enforcers use, but is a stronger variant. It is more powerful but consumes more mana.
Attack: AA
Range: B
Speed: A
Final Cross: Itsuki rushes towards his enemy quickly and does a downward sword slash with one wakizashi followed by a horizontal slash with the other. Can only be used in dual wakizashi mode.
Attack: A
Rending Thrust: A deadly double thrust with both blades, Itsuki's favourite move on constructs. He dashes towards the enemy, this time thrusting both wakizashi into the mechanical construct and drags the blade outwards.
Attack: AA Defensive spells:Protection: A multi-layer dome barrier shields himself or any target from conventional spells and lower powered bombardment or long-range spells. Shaped as a dome, this spell protects said spells from any directions.
Strength: A
Shielding radius: 2 metres
Knight's shield: A triangular shield with smaller circles at the 3 points (much like a casting rune) that shields Itsuki from 1 direction.
Strength: A
Support/Boost/Mobility spells:Flight: As a mage in the service of the TSAB within the air force, being able to fly is obviously a must.
Skill level: AA
Update (9 April 2008): Lots of changes, guess you can say it's a rebuild.

Description/Background/History: History: Born on Earth’s Japan, Itsuki was orphaned the moment he was born. His father supposedly left his mother, then pregnant with Itsuki, citing inability to finance and care for a family as the reason. His mother couldn’t afford to keep him either, so he was given to an orphanage to be raised. He grew up to be a rather brooding child, always staring off into thin air, and not making friends with many. However he loved to read and frequented the local library whenever he could.
It was on one such occasion when he stumbled unto an odd book that looked out of place in the library. An old dusty tome, it looked as if it’s seen its fair share of years, but was surprisingly very well maintained. The tome was quite thick, with words of a language that Itsuki couldn’t recognize. The tome was well organized, with what seemed like a table of contents in the first page, a section filled with pictures of symbols and mathematical formula, and what seemed like a journal section near the end of the tome.
Curiosity piqued, he decided to learn of the contents of the tome, with the mastery of the language vital. Discovering it to be German, he used the resources and Internet facilities in the library. The process was slow but it was enjoyable, and as time when on, astounding. Slowly becoming proficient in German, he discovered a world that could not belong to his own in the tome. The tome spoke of magic, of planets and worlds other than his own, which had always been but mere fantasy to him. It was a mystery how such a tome came to be at the library, and Itsuki wondered if it was some prank or merely a fictional book made to look like some kind of research tome, for that is what the tome seemed to be, a research into magic.
“Real or not, lets find out.” Was his thought at that time, and so at the age of 10 he stepped into a world deemed heretical by the religious fanatics on Earth. It was during that time that the Time Space Administration Bureau (TSAB) decided to scour the entire planet for individuals with magical potential, both to avoid any more incident like the Book of Darkness incident and to recruit new mages from a planet now acknowledge to “produce unusually powerful mages”. One year into the search, TSAB probation mage Signum of the Wolkenritter, decided to lead a search in Japan’s Kanto region.
It was to be a story of an encounter that will only come once in a life, as the search came to the remote neighbourhood where the orphanage Itsuki lived in is located. It was but a tiny tingle, but Signum felt the stirrings of magic, and found Itsuki trying out basic magic while hiding in a shed behind the orphanage. He was on the verge of casting his first spell after over a year of studying the tome, a simple barrier spell, when he was approach by the sword knight.
An offer was presented to him, one he couldn’t refuse. “Would you like to come with me, to a place where you can learn much more?” That day, sitting on a chair on that worn down shed, the boy looked up with eyes filled with wonder at the woman he will forever come to see as the one who saved him from a life of obscurity, the one who showed him the path to greater things, the one he will always regard as the sibling he never had. Smiling with a child’s innocent, the offer was received, with outstretched hands.
Habits/Hobbies: Staying up late at night, spending hours on the computer, reading, watching anime from his home planet, and procrastinating on things he finds tedious. He has a habit of staring into space sometimes, which indicates that he’s deep in thought. Sometimes when he reads, he gets so engrossed in the book that he has to be shouted at to get his attention.
Personality/Behaviour pattern: Sarcastic person who is occasionally a nice person, sometimes brooding and silent, and can be lazy at times. He’s protective of his friends and cares a lot about them. However he never likes to have people fuss over him and would usually try to solve his problems on his own. He doesn’t like Gwendolyn calling brother because he’s afraid that people would think he’s taking advantage of younger girls.
He insists that people call him “senior” or “sempai” when they are around him as he dislikes formalities, seeing as he’s not one to dispense with formalities himself. However, ironically calls Signum as “Signum nee-san” just like how Vice does despite the fact that she didn’t like it. But she soon gave up on trying to correct the both of them.
Professional background: After graduating at the age of 15 he was posted at the 1039th air squadron as a special agent, and he rose to the rank of 2nd Lieutenant in 3 years time. However, his laid-back and slightly lazy attitude saw him remain there, even though he could have rose higher in rank. He participated mostly in anti-terrorism operations, hostage situations, and emergency rescue and relieve along with the air forces.
Fighting style:
Aside from his ability to be hidden and avoid detection and take out the enemy, he can also engage in melee combat using his two devices in tandem to great effect.
Ruby Impulse gives him the power to overpower his opponent’s shields and barriers, while Rune Edge is used to deflect melee weapons and strike at openings when presented with his enhanced speed. Reloading for Ruby Impulse may seem difficult in the thick of battle, but it isn’t that big a problem for Itsuki as he can go stealth and hide his location while he reloads.
Along with his melee prowess, he utilizes spells that targets the enemy senses to give him advantage in battle. With his cannon and straight shot spells he can deal some damage from a moderate range and they serve to distract his opponent’s attention while he follows up close.
He can also use Rune Edge in long sword mode. This gives him better melee range and better protection against other melee fighters, as daggers can be disadvantageous in straight melee versus melee battles with opponents that have weapons with longer reach. However despite this he is still strictly a melee fighter and will be hard pressed against opponents who do not need to come close for combat.
Barrier Jacket:
Itsuki’s barrier jacket has 2 modes, a stealth mode and combat mode. The stealth is an all black ensemble of a sleeveless silk shirt and tight fitting leather pants. Ruby Impulse is usually deactivated in this mode to minimize sounds made from movement as Ruby Impulse would make clanking sounds on hard ground. Rune Breaker can however be activated separately.
The combat mode is different from the stealth mode in that the sleeveless shirt is replaced by a leather vest, a red coat long enough to reach just above his ankles, and a black pants of standard bureau barrier jacket material. The coat is buttoned together on his upper body, leaving the lower part of the coat flowing out behind him.
Miscellaneous equipment:
Night vision goggles: Stealth missions are best done in the cover of night, regardless that a cloaking spell can hide the user from the naked eye. Humans, are not cats or bats, therefore the night vision goggles (kept within his shirt’s pocket) is a must have on such missions. The multipurpose goggles can also calculate distances and detect infrared sensors.
Device(s): Ruby Impulse and Rune Edge
Ruby Impulse is Itsuki’s actual intelligent device and Rune Edge is his intelligent device with a rather high-level AI programmed, it is in sync with Ruby Impulse and storage mode stores both devices. Ruby Impulse is a powerful melee type armed device that Itsuki uses for melee attacks. As for Rune Edge, it can used in tandem with Ruby Impulse and is also actually primarily used for stealth attacks and covert op missions to silently eliminate various targets as the situation demands. Rune Edge also has a mode where it transforms into long swords.
Storage mode (both): Both devices are stored together inside a small ruby set on plain platinum bracelet, which Itsuki wears on his left arm. Itsuki calls out “activate” to activate his devices. It is possible to activate one device without activating the other.
Ruby Impulse: (device mode)
The Ruby Impulse is a pair of metal boots made from solid steel. The design is simplistic and bears no ornaments with the exception of the hexagonal ruby on the boot, set and positioned over his legs. The greaves are rather thick, a whole 5 millimetre thick of that alloy mentioned which he thinks is titanium but he doesn’t really remember. “Does titanium exist anyway?” is his question when asked about his device’s materials. A cartridge system is installed at the side of the greaves, and the exhaust pipes for it is connected to the other side to counterbalance the weight. Overall the device is rather heavy for a footgear so its important that Itsuki has very strong leg muscles to use them effectively, sometimes he tries to ensure he does have.
Rune Breaker: (dagger mode)
Rune breaker is a pair of twin daggers with an aquatic theme. The daggers are each 2 feet long, and are mainly light blue in colour, with a splatter of white on the hand guards, and a touch of gold for the hilt. The blade is slightly curved as is the hilt, and the hilt itself has a scaly appearance to it. The hand guard is short and is actually designed to offer protection to fingers rather than hands.
Rune Breaker: (Long sword mode)
Rune Breaker in its long sword mode transforms the twin-curved daggers into long swords of the same general design and colour. The blades are double-edged and straight; the hilt with the one-sided hand guard becomes double sided.
Offensive spells: Sunray: A spell that creates a blinding ray of light for a few seconds, effectively blinding all within range for a few minutes. Itsuki uses this when stealth fails or he is discovered during a mission. Usually used in conjunction with Cacophony. (Duration: 10 minutes)
Cacophony: A spell that generates a harsh discordance of high-pitched sounds at frequencies unbearable to human ears. The spell causes temporary deafness as well as disturbing the cochlea of the human ear enough to cause those within the range of the spell to lose their balance. (Duration: 10 minutes)
Tsunami Impact: Itsuki activates this spell when he does one of his drop kicks. The kick connects and a massive force is applied with enough force to instantly shatter a barrier. (Attack: AAA)
Cyclone Kick: Itsuki kicks out one leg with force and crosses the force from that kick with another from his other leg, creating a spinning force amplified by magic, thus forming a cyclone of sorts. The range is short, but is a powerful knock-back attack. (Attack: A, Speed: B, Range: C, Effect: Knock-back)
Crimson Dagger: Blood red dagger-shaped projectiles that can be shot at high speeds in the direction Itsuki chooses. Should it miss, the daggers can be willed to change directions accordingly. This is a high level spell that has become a bureau standard among officers. (Attack: A, Speed: A, Range: B)
Blast Cannon: Itsuki’s straight cannon shot magic. A blast of energy erupts from the magical symbol in a singular direction. (Attack: AA+, Range: A, Speed: A)
Defensive spells: Shield: A multi-layer shield that shields himself or any target from conventional spells and lower powered bombardment or long-range spells. Shaped as a dome, this spell protects said spells from any directions. (Strength: A, Shielding radius: 3 metres)
3-point shield: A triangular shield with smaller circles at the 3 points (much like a casting rune) that shields Itsuki from 1 direction. Itsuki holds on either of his palm up to cast this spell. The spell rune is half Itsuki’s height. (Strength: AA+)
Support/Boost/Mobility spells: Phantom Mirage: A combination of an illusion and mobility spell, Itsuki moves very fast when this spell is cast and leaves a mirror image of himself behind. The spell is limited however, in that Itsuki will not be able to keep up the spell long without severely draining his magic reserves. This spell can be described as a double-edged sword. Although giving significant boost to speed and agility, it is meaningless in prolonged battles as his magic reserves will not be able to keep up. As such it is only used sparingly (Speed boost to: S+, Duration: 8 minutes)
Flight: Allows flight. Yup, what else can it be?
Shadow Cloak: Itsuki’s stealth cloak keeps him hidden from the naked eye, along with several equipment he carries with him and by suppressing his magic to a level where it is just enough to keep up the spell so he can bypass most security and search spell. The spell however leaves him vulnerable to attacks and he would have to drop the cloaking spell before he can erect a barrier or shield.
Empowerment: Charges Ruby Impulse with pure magic power. Every kick and strike with it discharges bursts of that power, giving Itsuki edge in melee combat. Drains magic constantly while in use, thus it isn’t a spell that can be kept up for long. (Power increase: AAA)
Struggle Bind: A spell known to many bureau officers. The reason for its popularity is its ability to cancel spells focused on the user’s self, such as transformation and boosts spells. (Strength: A, Effect: Cancels existing spells on target)
A tentative "version 1" of one of my char. I intend to edit whenever necessary, because I can seem to think of how he'll fit in..well that and for balance purposes. Anyway that was longer than I expected so...please don't bite! *worriedly clicks the submit reply button and hides*
No it's not bad. Not bad at all. I see no horid overpowerments anywhere. Is he 21 at the start of StrikerS?

Well well...another one picked up by Signum (The other being Koji...but he's a different case)
There seems to be a discrepancy with the age part...I think, I could wrong, though.
The rest is pretty good...though, I think you mixed up the Device's names when explaining them (Rune Breaker/Rune Edge)
I haven't decided on that. Originally I wanted to use it as a character for a fanfiction I wanted to write (I think I'll take it easy and go for short stories for now) and I was biding my time and waiting for StrikerS to end. That being said 21 is suppose to be as of after the events of StrikerS.
Maybe I'll just fit him into the AU we have here. If thats the case his age will definitely need a little tweak. Thanks for the encouragement though, its always nice to see something you write being acknowledged.
Added: @FlameSparkZ: Oh thanks for highlighting that discrepancy. I sort of changed the names quite a number of times and some of the changes didn't reflect properly in the entirety of the char bio. Thanks again. ^^

I concur with Keroko on this- not a bad character by any means.
And he's in the air force? That's better- we need to make the air force get more limelight.
For any who recall that picture of the Beauty and the Beast Unit I posted a while back, I've decided to expand on it (44 characters now...egh. ) to form a little something I named...

Biography:
--Blueprints--
It was not long at all after the Jail Scaglietti incident that other scientific figures began on their own projects. One of these was a distinguished man named Elexender Kaleo, an aging character in his mid-sixties and a former colleague of the Doctor. In his younger years, he had met with the eager Scaglietti in times past, and had acted as a mentor to the budding worker for a short time.
During his moments with Jail, he found that the man had a knack for experimenting on the human form- or, to put it more bluntly, with life itself. Kaleo, despite being a senior, was fascinated yet dubious of what the scientist had drawn up for his future plans- a series of cyborgs that he called the "Numbers."
Over time, Elexender made a high number of visitations to the Doctor, examining his progress with an eager yet controlled manner. It was also discovered that the duo shared animosity of the TSAB, though in different senses- Jail hated them because they were disrupting the scheme for his "new world order", whereas Kaleo despised them simply for being, as he said, "unworthy".
Nevertheless, the two forged a close yet shadowed allegiance.
It was in the face of Jail's plans that Elexender formed blueprints for a project named "Dystopia". Although the design stages got far, the experiment was put on an indefinite hiatus.
Some time later, he heard of what was happening in regards to the Cradle incident, and watched as the Doctor's plans fell apart from his home in the far outskirts of a suburban town, witnessing what was happening to the Sentoukijin and the insane scientist minute by minute.
After the struggle, the Doctor and his creations were ultimately captured and sealed in a high-security prison on the outskirts of the city of Liros. The aging Kaleo reflected upon his prior encounters with the man and compared them to recent happenings, commenting on Jail's plans as "lacking in swiftness".
Becoming an upholder of Jail's beliefs in his own fashion, he rebooted Project Dystopia- he had machinations to perform.
--Assault--
An obvious factor that Elexender had to cover was that of claiming those that he needed to fully carry out his plot- the Numbers, as his old companion had called them. He knew the risk of fully assaulting the prison they were sealed in, but he took a gamble through his newest acquaintance.
It had been a while since the Scaglietti incident, and in that time he had enlisted the help of a man who called himself "The Fiddler". Ultimately, he was the first subject of Project Dystopia.
To match his style, the project bestowed upon him strength and agility almost incomparable. The one problem was that he was the only ally under the old man's wing.
Kaleo knew of this, but decided to go with the one-man assault option, claiming that even one member of his experiment would perform the job in a stellar fashion. In the dead of night, five years to the day since the Cradle fell, the "Fiddler", also assigned the codename of "Lone Hyena", penetrated the facility in a solo op.
Despite the building's high security, he managed to break in successfully- mainly by slaughtering anyone he found that wasn't friendly. Eventually, he found himself outnumbered, and fled into the inner depths of the prison. Searching corridor after corridor, and fighting off more guards, he came across a handful of cells which held a small portion of the Numbers. Taking no heed to their confusion, he set them loose, and the group broke out of the facility, with the Fiddler taking the congregation back to Kaleo via teleportation.
Though it was unfortunate for Kaleo that Hyena did not retrieve every one of the cyborgs, he praised him nonetheless. Offering the Numbers a chance for retribution and finishing what the Doctor started, he commenced his plans.
--Dystopia--
Only a third of the Numbers came along with Hyena- Quattro, Nove, Cinque and Sette. Nevertheless, Dystopia was initiated.
The project transformed the quartet into "sentient machines of war". The four still retained their personality, but were constantly driven to destroy, time and time again.
In the process, each Number was fitted with an exoskeleton that greatly boosted their combat ability and bestowed other powers upon them as a "bonus". Each was designed to suit each member of the project, and enhance each of their respective abilities.
The eventual result was a group of warriors who were no longer Numbers, but machines of battle. Though they kept their identity, their past lives were far behind them.
Kaleo constantly made tweaks to the project every now and then, attempting to make it as flawless as he could. All of this was for a plan concocted in his mind- one to carry on a legacy.
Name changes for some...eh.
To be truthful, I'm really unsure about this. The whole Elexender story looks a tad too contrived/cliched, might seem typical/trivial in some cases, and possibly bears similarities with Enzo's introduction to the Doctor. Also, some events may not make sense, and other stuff might not make sense to you all...and then there's the Jail offspring bit to deal with too. The Number choice might not have been entirely correct as well...I did think of using Numbers for this project, but I'm unsure...and I might have stolen too much *Braces self for much blaming* and I might have gone against future canon...
Eh, enough of me being condescending. But, in all seriousness, this is under debate. But, despite that, I'll leave you all to judge it, fellow readers.
