If the spoiler is true then what the story is implying is that the number ones were not brought back to life like some kind of Frankenstein experiment, but rather that Priscilla's flesh literally regenerated them from death itself and that they were going to Awaken because of this process regardless of what they went through otherwise (meaning even if they just sat around they'd Awaken). So if the flesh does this, why is Raki still human?

I think they have Shounen Jump in mind not Jump Square. And I'm not even sure D.Gray-man will be out in December issue of JSQ. Anyway, currently I'm more interested in Hunter x Hunter than I am in Claymore, recent chapters have been awesome.

Spoilers have been comfirmed by Aphetto from MH (I hope he's joking though, but I fear for the worst):

So in other words, if given enough yoki, it seems any intact claymore can come back to life under the same process. Raki is a different story however. He is merely human and has no yoki (that we know of). So if we assume he has no yoki, then Priscilla's arm may have merely stopped the spread of the infection from Rafaela/Luciela and nothing more. But since some humans are known to sense yoki, perhaps it also means they are able to be influenced by it as well? Perhaps the years he spend with Priscilla has somehow made his body tolerant to her yoki? |

UGH, this chapter is going to blow if the spoiler are true. I mean as much as i wanted all 3 to awaken I don't think any of us expected it to occur in one chapter. Does this mean that we won't get to see Roxannes backstory? I still want to know how she died, and what claymore was powerful enough to best her in a battle.
Also if Miria kills Hysteria that easily it will be even more of a joke than her battle already is. Really Yagi, Now miria has the ability to easily kill one of the most powerful claymore's of all time. She somehow managed to become that strong in 7 years. You might as well have Miria and Clare kill Priscilla together at this point. God knows miria is strong enough. Ok, that rants over but still, I feel like all of this could be dragged out over a couple of chapters. I agree with everyone else this seems way too rushed. Hopefully all of the spoilers so far are fake or at least off by a little bit (Roxanne and Hysteria awakening).

Well, like I said in the previous thread, Clare might be on the colored cover of the next (121st) chapter, especially if the spoiler turns out to be true (and everything seems to indicate that). So three awakenings aren't that surprising. But Miria suddenly defeating Hysteria is just stupid.

then my prediction(about Clare & Priscilla coming out the "blob") goes down the drain. My thinking was: a/ something happen to Raki, Clare will show up b/ Raki go and see the "blob" after the rebellion and draws her out c/ nothing happens, they are in there for eternity

Damn, I'm liking Dae more and more. Mad scientists who just don't give a sh*t are awesome. But you wonder about the wisdom of attracting a being like Priscilla there without having a back-up plan, so let's hope he has one. Plus he doesn't know that Pris is trapped, but this could serve as a bridge to the blob and what's happening there.
As for Miria defeating Hysteria, well... what do you call 'plotkai' or 'plot no jutsu' in Claymore? I'm going to wait and see the circumstances, but either way it doesn't look that good. |

I read a lot of complain in this board, but tbh imo this chapter is absolutely wonderfu,i loved it.
First of all it was about time that Yagi decided to speed up the current battle (it's not now that it's too fast,it was before that it was too slow imo),not to mention that i don't understand why people complain that all the 3 monsters are awakening so close to each other, imo it's 100% logical and infact i would have been disappointed if this didn't happen. As soon Cassy awakened it was pretty clear that the whole situation would have changed drastically in a few minutes,it would have been a lot more stupid and unbelivable if this didn't happen. Cassy's awakened form is great and very fitting (Yagi was even able to integrate her strange fighting style in that aw-form.....not easy if you ask me,lol) Miria's "killing blow" against Histy was also quite surprising and it also express very well her absolute determination to not give up no matter what the situation. Anyway, even with Deneve's group intervention, the situation is REALLY REALLY bad for the rebels, the only luck is that Cassy and Roxy are busy fighting each other......but still doesn't change the fact that the rebel's only optioin is to retreat (if they can.....),or hoping in an sudden intervention of Claire and Prissy in the battlefield (well, they still should escape from that if they value their lives, lol). Also i don't agree at all with people that say that Claire can't take on Prissy and that her power-up would be a deus-ex machina solution. Well, imo that's absolutely not true since Yagi made very clear for a long time that Claire's body has hidden an immense power, and considering Claire-Teresa connection (in other words,Claire unique body) imo there would be nothing strange if Claire gains a power even greater than Prissy (once unlocked her full powers obviously, maybe with some sort of unique awakening). |

Looking over the RAW now, not half as bad as the spoilers made it sound. It still felt a bit rushed considering all the build-up.
Cassandra's awakened form is definitely the weirdest one yet. I can't say I'm impressed, but it definitely leaves an impression. She does seem to have power on par with what you'd expect from an Abyssal One though, considering how easily she owned Roxanne. Speaking of which, are people honestly surprised by this result? Unless you really believed Roxanne's extremely biased PoV (#5 level without Dust Eater), then a #1 vs Abyssal One fight should always be one sided in the Awakened One's favor. ---- The Miria vs Hysteria climax was surprisingly intense. Literally winning by the skin of her teeth, mostly because Hysteria was too reckless/angry to approach her cautiously. Sure, it may seem like an asspull to some, but its not like every fight in Claymore has been resolved by pure strength in the past *cough* Clare *cough* ---- High point of this chapter (aside from seeing Roxanne get owned) is definitely Dae and his mad scientist ways. He resurrected these three purely in hopes of attracting Priscilla, I guess he would see her as the peak of his work judging by his dialogue in previous chapters. We call it "Clare no Jutsu."

Btw i doubt that we'll see Claire and Prissy in the next color chapter,it's a lot more probable that instead we'll have Deneve's group arrival on the battlefield, but maybe Yagi will give a hint at the very end of the chapter that something is hapening to the blob.
Thinking about it there is also the possibility that Yagi will shift the story to the mental world where Claire and Prissy are.....hmmm.....maybe it's not so impossible to se Claire and Prissy in the colored pages afterall..... |

after seeing the raw: roxanne is just insane. i so want to know what she says. also audrey wasn't blasted by the "awakening wave". all 3 seem to be alive (well, we i don't know if cassandra aimed her tentacles at them when she first released them). design matters: old ao > new ao (or cassandra as we don't know what the other 2 look like).
gooral might drop the manga after seeing that miria magically summons a claymore (there wasn't one on the ground). her mouthskills seem awesome though |
